He explained the pride some of the businesses had because they were passed down from the previous generation. My favorite places were Beck’s Cajun and Ma Lessie. Short, helpful and Informative

It was a productive and fun way to spend 45 minutes. Before taking the tour I always felt overwhelmed upon entering the market. I never did more than step inside and upon witnessing the hustle and bustle step back out. The market seemed crowded, enormous and overwhelming. The tour covered the history of the market, the composition and types of shops, lots of fun fact and a couple of local snacks. I learned that the lines move quickly and the vendors are friendly! I no longer feel intimidated but instead comfortable.
