Such an amazing experience!! Our family of 4(2 adult children) had the best time. Our instructor (Murphy) was incredible in explaining everything-he has a ♡ of climbing and Joshua Tree. We greatly enjoyed the Open Air Hummer Adventure with our guide Bob. The tour was the best combination of fun and education. Bob is an excellent storyteller and a natural teacher. We learned about the geology and botany of this unique and gorgeous desert landscape during several interesting stops, and riding in the military jeep was a great fun.. Bob did a fabulous job of engaging all of our traveling companions, including two young teens. We highly recommend this hummer open air tour.

Incredible Tour Guide!

The tour was so fun and informational. Our Tour Guide knew so much about Palm Springs, the houses, its famous and infamous past and present residents. She seemed passionate about what she did and added a lot of humor to her telling. She was fabulous. One of the other passengers said he wish he had a recording of all she said on the tour and we all agreed.

Most Excellent Tour With Jeff!

Our tour guide Jeff is excellent because he has an in depth knowledge of the desert, geology, history, vegetation as well as the Joshua Tree National Park. The adventure sparks dialogue with all in attendance. Jeff makes the experience unique to the participants. The Big Wheel vehicle is comfortable, clean and safe. There is ample opportunity for photographs and exploring. The scenery is breathtaking. Well worth it!

Educational desert tour

Three hour tour of the desert near Palm Springs. Our guide (Ron)?did a great job describing the geology of the SanAndreas fault, the Cuhilla Indian tribe who’ve lived here for thousands of years & some of the more recent history of the area. It is not a very rough tour riding in the jeep. Very glad we did it. Plenty of water and snacks provided.

This a fun family activity! Before the covered wagon tour, there are activities for young and old alike. There is water, lemonade, and iced tea available. Bring your our cooler with alcohol drinks if you want. The wagons tour is educational for every age group. You learn about the desert plants, and animals as well as the San Andreas fault. The hike into the palm trees may be difficult for some, but most people will enjoy the history and the environmental information. Back at the ranch, you are entertained by music to sing and dance along with. Dinner is served and keeps everyone in mind. Cole slaw, cowboy beans, beef, chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy. What is not to love? Dessert is apple pie with whipped cream for dessert. But that isn’t it! Soon there is a fire pit to roast marshmallows!

This hike was the perfect balance of adventure and immersion, and it gave us a deeper appreciation for the park’s natural beauty. Amazing tour and very knowledgeable tour guide!

This was an excellent desert adventures. Very educational and the tour guide, Don was very knowledgeable and patient. Our favorite was the slot canyon hikes. The hike to the top gave is amazing view of the Coachella valley. Definitely highly recommending this tour!
