I booked this pasta making class for myself, my husband, 2 kids and their spouses. We had the best time making 2 different types of pasta and our own personal tiramisu. This class was in our host's personal home. Alice and her partner (sorry can't remember his name) were so welcoming, genuine and so nice. We had a lot of fun with them. Once all the pasta was cooking and the tiramisu was chilling, they set us up in their living room with appetizers and Italian wine. We all sat down at their dining room table and had a delicious feast of the 2 different types of pasta, one with a pesto sauce and the other with a ragu sauce served with Prosecco. The fresh pasta and sauce were out of this world delicious. The tiramisu we made was wonderful. If you're ever in Palermo and find yourself with some extra time, I would highly recommend taking this pasta class with Alice. We booked this class through Viator.

Giovannie is a very likable host. He made this experience feel like a family event. Working under his direction was like being in the kitchen with your chef brother. Creating and chating like you would at the family table. The best meal comes from the preparation. So much great food was enjoyed on Giovannie and Robeorta's roof top terrace. Gazzie Melli Giovannie for shareing so much about your family history and your knowledge of Sicily. We won't forget you or this evening.
We had a great time at our pasta and tiramisu making class with Carlotta! She was so kind and engaging - very thorough in her explanation for making the pasta and giving us a hands-on experience. We made both tortolloni and tagliatelle which were absolutely delicious! We were so grateful to be welcomed into Carlotta's home and eat with her the fruits of our labor! So fun, and highly recommend!
We had a great time! The food was excellent and my daughter and I had a wonderful experience. Carlotta was warm and friendly. Highly recommend!
Carlotta the host is super nice but she doesn't speak any English.
My family couldn’t understand anything she was saying.

Dear Micky,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the language barrier affected your family’s experience.
We understand how important clear communication is, especially during a cooking experience where explanations and interaction are a key part of the activity. We apologise that the level of English spoken did not meet your expectations and that this made it difficult for your family to fully enjoy the experience.
We will take your feedback into consideration and work with the host to improve the communication aspect of the experience.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
We loved taking the class! It was fun and we can use for the future. Our teacher was a grand lady and a great host. My nephew and I really enjoyed it!
This was AWESOME. Our host was so nice and we had a lovely evening. Would highly recommend doing this.
Our chef was very personable and friendly. It was obvious that she truly enjoyed cooking and sharing her family recipes with us. There was a slight language barrier, but nonetheless, it was an amazing experience. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Palermo.
My daughter and I had the best time. It was just the two of us and it was perfect.
I loved the fact that it was in their home.
The young woman and her fiancée were amazing.
We had them dine with us when we enjoyed the fruits of our labor.
We weren’t to far from the cruise ship and were able to explore prior to the class.
I would highly recommend the Lunch at 10:00 with Cesarine Cooking Class w/ Agata
Carlotta was so nice and hospitable. All of the food was simple yet delicious. Easy to replicate at home. The tiramisu was by far the best we’ve ever had!
This was by far a highlight of my Mediterranean vacation. Giovanni and his wife were so welcoming and shared lovely memories, recipes, food and wine. I truly felt welcomed and I cherish the memories I created with them! The food was incredible! I have had many tours cancel on me as a solo traveler, but they did not. It was a beautiful way to gain insight into Palermo.
It was really fun and the hosts were very accommodating as my daughter has a gluten allergy. She was very happy to learn her own gf pasta recipe
The class was private, informative, hands-on, and very fun! The location was a bit challenging to find and the picture if the outside was not accurate. Plan ahead by getting a phone number. Photo needs to be updated.
This was an amazing experience. Francesca was an incredible teacher and the food she helped us make was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend for anyone visiting in the Palermo area to check out!

This was a highlight of our trip. Francesca was so welcoming to her kitchen and we made the best ravioli, fettuccine, and tiramisu. Everything was perfect and I would highly recommend this!
Today, 8 June, we took a cooking class with Francesca in Sicily. We learned the techniques to make 3 dishes: Ravioli with Eggplant, Pasta w/ Sausage and Zucchini and for desert - Tiramisu. We learned how to pick the appropriate vegetables, understand the types of flours, seasoning, and oils and preference of one over another. We had to prepare our ingredients, proper cutting and cooking technique. And the tools used for each dish and how to use them. We made the pasta from scratch: Flour (00), Egg, and experienced using a Pasta Machine. We experienced it all. We cooked each portion of the meal, learned what to look for and when it was ready to add the next ingredient. We cumulated this with 2 favorable and tasty meals; and finally desert. Finally, I never used or thought I'd like Basil but Francesca showed me how to prepare, cook, and appreciate its fine flavor. So, when in Sicily, and if you have time, I highly recommend a side trip to Bagheria and a cooking class with Francesca.

We had such a wonderful time in this class! The most delicious authentic pasta ever too! Highly recommend.
Amazing experience. Alice is so knowledgeable and patient. Everything was perfect. The food was like being back in my grandma’s kitchen. Highly recommend.
Gianpiero was an amazing host. We had the best time learning how to make pasta and tiramisu with him. He’s very knowledgeable and friendly and makes the whole experience a blast! You won’t regret doing this experience. My only advice is to eat a light lunch the day you do this, it’s a lot of delicious food. It would be a shame if you don’t get to fully enjoy it all!
Our hosts were kind, hospitable, very knowledgeable about various local culinarily variations throughout Italy, but also about how food and health relate. One of the true highlights of our trip!
Great experience in Giovanni's lovely home learning to make pasta and tiramisu! Giovanni is a great (and patient) teacher and a very funny guy! We had a wonderful time making (and eating) 3 different types of pasta and enjoyed the rooftop terrace during dinner. The location was undisclosed at booking but ended up being very central and walkable from all the main attractions of Palermo which was perfect
We were sold on a pasta making and tiramisu making class, but that’s not what we got. We showed up to a mostly premade meal with boxed pasta, not making fresh pasta. We also saw that the tiramisu was already made so we didn’t learn that either. We have requested a refund but they denied it, so we are now doing a chargeback on our card as this was not what we paid for. It was a very disappointing experience on our honeymoon.

Great time with Francesca. Relaxed environment while having fun and making pasta and Tiramisu. Learned new techniques and ate our delicious food with wine!
It was fabulous! Alice is such a perfect host and her home is so beautiful and inviting. She goes out of her way to teach and it just works.

Antonio is a delightful host and a wonderful teacher. He patiently worked with us through every step of making tiramisu and three different types of pasta from scratch. We then thoroughly enjoyed our lunch partaking of what we had made. And thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with him about his background and what more he recommended we see in Palermo.
IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! So much fun! An amazing host! If u can, thats the experience that u should definitely have! <3
Our hosts were lovely. Super friendly and keen to share Italian secrets in their kitchen. Welcomed us into their home and showed us how it’s done.
Alice and her partner went above and beyond! We loved learning to make pasta and tiramisu in their home… made for a very authentic experience. They were kind, funny, and we loved every second! Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere and authenticity. Pina and her friend so charming and quintessential. The food was great that we made and we really enjoyed the whole experience.
