Wonderful experience!!! We brought our 8 month old baby and the driver & guide gave us 5 star service and very knowledgeable. We’re super accommodating with an infant. Highly recommend !!

Pietro and Antonio were awesome. They picked us up from the hotel with a warm welcome
Antonio was our driver and an excellent one at that.
Pietro was so knowledgeable about Italy, the history, the attractions etc. he was also so passionate about it
We especially loved the Cathedral of Monreale. Pietro walked us through the history, how to walk though it and shared a book with how it was built and organized
It was the most magnificent cathedral we have ever been to. It had the story of the Bible from one end to the other
We thoroughly enjoyed the trip sitting in the heck of the cruiser car with beautiful views, snacks and prosecco

Worth the time and money. Tour guide and driver were excellent. If you only have a day, its a good way to get a lot in a short time. It’s nice to have the open top ride to take everything in. Comfortable ride.

We did the Grand Tour in CruiserCar in Palermo and had such a fun and memorable experience. From the moment we got off the boat, the team made us feel like celebrities—such a warm and welcoming start that really set the tone for the day.
Alessio was fantastic—kind, patient, and he captured some beautiful photos of us that we’ll truly cherish. The stops were scenic and well chosen, especially the beach and cave, which were definite highlights. It felt like a really special way to experience Palermo.
The added touches like snacks and Prosecco were a nice addition, and we appreciated the recommendations they shared for lunch afterward. It all added to the overall experience and made the day feel thoughtful and enjoyable.
Having the experience feel even more seamless would take it to the next level—especially for visitors who aren’t sure what to expect along the way. A quick heads-up to bring euros ahead of the market stop would’ve helped us fully enjoy that moment, and while the Prosecco was a lovely touch, we ended up not opening it while driving since we were worried about spilling it and thought we might have a more relaxed moment to enjoy it at a stop. Little cues around when to pause, enjoy, or take advantage of certain moments would make everything flow even more effortlessly.
Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely recommend this tour—especially if you’re looking for something fun, different, and a little VIP while exploring Palermo.

Regarding the Prosecco, it would have been absolutely possible to stop, open it and enjoy it calmly during one of the scenic moments of the tour. Usually, in the most beautiful stops, our staff organizes and serves it for our guests, and we always try to adapt the experience to each group’s rhythm and preferences. We also normally invite guests to let us know at any moment if they would like to pause, take photos, enjoy a drink, or spend more time in a specific place.

This was so much fun. The CruiserCar was simply the best mode of travel for learning about Palermo. It was a beautiful day, and was the most peaceful excursion on our trip. My confirmation for this tour has Villa Rosa dei Venti as the pick up point for several weeks, it wasn't till after payment before I was informed they couldn't pick us up there, this incurred an additional $160 euros to get us to the meeting point, for an already expensive three hour outing ($800 for two) it turned out to be nearly $1000.00! It is not worth it.

As clearly stated on Viator, the Grand Tour in CruiserCar operates exclusively within Palermo city.
The location you selected — Cinisi — is over 30 minutes away, outside our service area and not part of the official itinerary.
For this reason, we suggested meeting at our standard meeting point in Palermo, as driving back and forth on the highway would have taken a full hour of your 3-hour tour.
We also offered to organize a private transfer with our own trusted driver, who would have charged a much lower rate than what you ultimately paid to an external provider. Unfortunately, you chose to arrange your own transfer, which was completely independent from our service.
We understand your frustration, but the additional €160 you mention refers to your private driver’s cost, not ours. Our company always provides transparent pricing and strives to offer the best possible experience and value to every guest.
Lastly, we regret that your review focuses only on external costs unrelated to CruiserCar. The tour price and inclusions were clear before booking, and we wish the rating reflected the actual quality of the experience — which many guests consider one of the most memorable moments of their visit to Palermo.

We had a wonderful time touring Sicily with our tour guide ,Alessio, who was so friendly and kind. Alessio was full of information about Sicily and all the stops we made. He told us about all the areas and was happy to take pictures at all the beautiful views of Sicily. Pedro drove thru the busy streets and up the climb of Mt Pellegrino - we felt safe.
He made us feel comfortable and safe thru the tour. Very nice as well. Two wonderful guides.
We enjoyed Prosecco, cold drinks & snacks which made everything for a beautiful day!
Definitely book this tour you will be very happy you did. Fun relaxing tour.

This was an amazing experience!!!!! As we drove through Palermo, it was evident that this open cruiser city tour was the best way to learn about the history and culture of Palermo. There were stops on this tour that we would not have made a priority and we are so glad we had the opportunity. Fabrizio and Antonio were incredible hosts. Antonio was so funny and Fabrizio was passionate about sharing his beloved city with us. The ride had a hospitality chest full of snacks and drinks. Both Fabrizio and Antonio were accommodating to our requests. We purchased the 6-hour tour and could have spent more time with the Antonio and Fabrizio, especially in the market; we needed more time for shopping. When Fabrizio wasn’t sharing history or culture with us, he played a fabulous mix of music.
One helpful hint: if you are touring with anyone hearing impaired, have them sit in the seats closest to the driver and guide so they can hear better. There is not an audio speaker to the back seats.
10/10-we would do this tour again. Well worth the investment of time and money.

Best tour in Palmero. Alessio and our driver went out of their way to make sure we saw what we wanted to see. Cruise ship did not have hearing aid batteries and I could not find them on my other stops, Petrio, our driver, I believe his name was, called a guy and met us on the street with hearing aid batteries. Love those two Sicilians! They had snacks and drinks for us! Played Italian music. Had a great time! No better tour!!

The driver and tour guide were OUTSTANDING! The whole experience was very entertaining and educational at the same time. The only drawback to the whole experience was that we had an afternoon time slot in Palermo from about 3 PM to 6 PM. It should be noted that we sat in traffic for a good 45 minutes. Of course this could not be helped, but it would have been nice to know that this was the situation in advance. I may have booked a morning tour instead.
At $395.00 per person, this was a pricey experience that I’m not sure was entirely worth it.

The tour company decided it had overbooked the tours and cancelled our booking at 11:00pm est the night before my booking. Absolutely, devastating when you take a once in a lifetime trip to Palermo to walk out of the boat to find out you did not have the tour you booked months earlier cancelled. You didn’t know a week ago of the overbooking. Absolutely no time to adjust and make other plans. I actually was on the flight to Italy when the company sent a text through Viator versus trying to reach me directly. I have used Viator for years with nothing but a fantastic experience. This company wins the award for ruining that streak. Very disappointing

In Palermo for 36 hours. This tour was great!! A different experience going in the Cruise Car which had everything - music, drinks, snacks. We saw the historical old town, newer parts of Palermo, the harbor, and then drove up the mountain to Monte Pelligrino. We passed several historical sites and even walked a few.

It is not what is advertised. We were supposed to stop for 10 to 30 minutes at various stops like the statues at Pretoria for example. They did drive-bys for almost everything. I asked for the 6 hour tour. We had 2 and 1/2 hours. They did not want to drop us off where they picked us up. We fought for that since it was in our original agreement. Alessia was not very informative. Still for a quick overview of the city it was fun to be in an open-air car.

We are truly sorry to read your review, but we must clarify that most of the statements you have made are incorrect and do not reflect what actually happened.
1. Booking details:
You booked a 3-hour Grand Tour, not a 6-hour tour. (it costs 500 euro more). This is clearly visible in your official Viator reservation
2. Duration of the tour:
The tour lasted exactly 3 hours, as recorded by our internal tracking system.
3. Itinerary:
The itinerary you received was the same one we follow for every 3-hour tour, including stops and detailed explanations at the main highlights of Palermo.
4. Pick-up and drop-off:
You requested pick-up and drop-off in Mondello (instead of the usual Palermo city center). This automatically requires about 40 minutes of extra driving (20 minutes each way).
To maximize your sightseeing time, we suggested ending the tour in Palermo city center. However, as your messages confirm, you were free to request drop-off back in Mondello — and we would have done so with no issue.
5. Guide service:
Our licensed guide, Alessio, followed the same professional standards and explanations that consistently receive excellent reviews from our guests.
In conclusion, your group received the full service booked: a 3-hour Grand Tour in CruiserCar with pick-up in Mondello, explanations and stops at the highlights of the city, and the option of drop-off either in Palermo or Mondello.
For these reasons, we kindly request that Viator review and consider the removal of this feedback, as it contains false information and could unfairly damage the reputation of our company.

This is an amazing can’t miss experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and patient and our driver was so sweet and accommodating. From the min they scoop you till the end we were fully enchanted by the experience. I wanted both of them to be part of the family and join the resting the trip..

CruiserCar is the perfect way to get an overview of the city for an hour or two or more, depending on your needs and interests. But Fabrizio, our guide was GENUINELY excited to show us the beauty and culture of Palermo. His enthusiasm is sincere in his pride as a Sicilian. They were prompt picking us up at our hotel and the Cruiser Car was clean, comfortable and well stocked with snacks and beverages. The back is open but if the sun is too bright, the canopy can come up, still leaving access for views and photos. Access into the vehicle is one small step, for those who may have mobility issues. We prefer to get a riding tour of our destination in hopes of pinpointing places we might like to visit while on foot. Fabrizio has incredible knowledge of the area and will dazzle you with his charm and amazing knowledge of Palermo's rich history. You will not be disappointed. This is a "must do" event.

If you are short on time and want to experience Palermo in a day the Cruiser Car Grand Tour is a must. Our driver Pedro and our English speaking guide Fabio were the best. Pedro’s excellent driving got us around without concern and Fabio’s knowledge of all of our sights and destinations was incredible. We learned so much about Sicily’s and Palermo’s history that we never could have done on our own. Having the ability to decide how much time to spend at a given sight was appreciated and the pace of going to each sight kept the tour exciting. The supplied beverages and snacks were appreciated. While the tour may seem expensive, in the end it was a great bargain. I really can’t say enough good things about Pedro and Fabio.

This is a must do tour! The vehicle is amazing. The tour guide was fantastic, an oral historian that gave us a comprehensive overview of Palermo’s history. We had the best snacks and beverages offered to us. We wish we could take another day to do a different tour with them!

We had an exceptional morning on the cruiser car and every detail was planned for. The guides provided interesting information as we traveled along the route, and we made a stop in Mondello where we got out to enjoy gelato. This was a highlight of our trip to Palermo, and I cannot recommend this car enough. Our kids really enjoyed the experience, and the drinks and snacks ensured that nobody got hungry during the ride. This car is a "must" and definitely the best way to see some of the highlights in the area.

Wonderful way to see highlights of Palermo. We are a family of 6 - parents and kids ages 5, 9, 12, and 14. All of us were entertained and happy! The car is very fun and it’s a fun and easy way to get around!!! Highly recommend!!

Had an incredible experience with the Sicily tour of Palermo. From the minute we were picked up at our AirBnB to drop off at our restaurant, this was by far the greatest travel experience we’ve had in quite a while. Were the nicest happiest guides whisking us through the streets of downtown, up to the cathedral of St Rosalia and then down to Mondello Beach. We couldn’t ask for a better experience!

The only way to tour Palermo! We had the most amazing day seeing Palermo. This is a personalized tour of what you want to see and do… we stopped at a few historic sites, the most amazing cannoli and gelato places, and a tour of the market.
