This tour consists of two parts, the visit to Monreale Cathedral and Cefalù. The church mosaic decoration took my breath away and the seascape of Cefalu is simply amazing. I really enjoyed my day and the journey wasn't too long. The driver, Sergio is warm and friendly. I was with him twice and really enjoyed his company. Two 👍👍 up

Terrible service they didn’t turn up so I paid money for nothing. Five of us were waiting for them and later we found out that they changed the meeting, location, the transportation and time without telling the five of us. When asked for a refund, they wrote a rude text message and said no never.

Driver did not introduce himself, spoke no English, drove van with license plate no EM681YN, did not turn on AC, took personal calls on speaker, drove in the middle of the lanes, did not tell us when or where the pickup stop was, and there was an altercation at the arrival point-overall a poor experience. Sites were great, driver was awful.

The places we visited are amazing. The bus was comfy. There is no tour guide, not even advise on what to visit. I should've read other reviews before going there.

Know that you stop in a little town that really does not have much to offer which takes away time in Cefalu. Could have used another 2 hours in Cefalu.

We were picked up on time in two vans driven by tour owners Vincenzo and his wife Carrie. They don't give guided tours at the sites, only provide transportation.
The vans were crowded with 7 people each.
My van, for me, had insufficient A/C. Luckily, I had my travel fan to help keep me cool.
The sites:
Monreale - very old, very cool cathedral.
Many pictures were taken.
Well worth this trip by itself.
Cefalu:
Sea side tourist town with many shops and restaurants. It was fun and we had lunch there. We were given more than enough time to explore.
It's a decent tour of two sites not far from Palermo.

Do not book with this company. I was at the location 15 minutes early. And the tour guide never came. There were other guides from "Get your guide" there picking up people. I showed them my ticket. But they said I need to wait for my guide from viator. that guide never showed up.
For some un known reason viator is refusing to give me a refund.
I travel a lot. This is the second time I booked with viator and the guide was a no show.
I will probably delete the viator app and start using "get your guide"

It made me and my husband possible to see monreale and Cefalu in half the day. Monreale church is beautiful the whole church not just one corner. It was worth it.

Manage your expectations. The husband/wife (Vincenzo and Carrie) were our drivers (7 person vans). We had Carrie (American) and she answered some questions but they are just a transport service. We had 2 hours in each of the two locations.

Great having the time to explore both Monreale and Cefalù on our own. Great driver transported us to both venues and then we had time to explore on our own. The cathedral in Monreale is a must and the mosaics are amazing. Cefalù is a quirky beachside town with lots of cafes Bars & shops. Definitely rate a visit if you have time to explore outside of Palermo.

Absolutely awful experience. Had to stop the tour and turn back. Driver provided by local Viator guide did not speak English, which was specifically stated in their contract their brochure. Now for the record by Viator refuses to give a refund DO NOT USE VIATOR

This is a guided tour with no guide, only a driver!! When asked to tell us more about the places we visited, the driver confessed he’s not a guide and couldn’t give more information. It’s ridiculous! We should get a partial refund as we’re charged for a guided tour!

The churches in both Monreale and Cefalù were impressive and incredibly beautiful. We had lunch along the beach in Cefalù and enjoyed the wonderful view.

Be aware that this is just a transfer service. Also, our ticket didn't have the time for the meeting point. There was a lot of back and forth with Viator to figure out when we will be picked up from Verde. I read the reviews and I was shocked that Viator let the company answered some of those reviews in a very unprofessional way. However, our driver was very nice and polite.

Beautiful City, one of my favorites, with friendly people.
This is not a tour, just a ride to and from the city, which my friend I were fine with.
We were able to freely walk and discover the city on our own. Highly recommend, as this is a beautiful little village by the Seaside!

This excursion is actually an organized transport by minivan to Monreale and Cefalu, without a guide, just a driver. The trip met my expectations, because we had enough free time to explore both cities and the ride was pleasant.

It was a wonderful day. The experience says half day, but it was from about 8am to 3 pm.
Montreale has beautiful views of Palermo and the sea.
Cefalu is a beach resort town, but quaint streets and shops. One of the beach side restaurants has a menu for which all items can be gf - a real plus. Delightful driver. Viator comes through again!

We were given ample time in Monreale. In Cefalu we were given 2.5 hours and a little more would've been nice because it's so beautiful and there's much to see, but it was fine. The driver gave helpful tips about restaurants and sights to see as well as when the cathedral would close for lunch. A guided tour of Monreale would've been helpful.

The tour operator cancelled the morning of and didn’t answer my calls while I was waiting. Eventually I saw an email from Viator that I’m getting a full refund. I was disappointed that nobody called me to explain.

The drivers were efficient and timely. Left to our own devices once we reached the dextinatoons. Wild windy weather at Cefalu. Exceptional and spectacular mosiacs at monreal. Such great architecture and scenery
