Loved everything about it. Our guide, Luke, has a great energy, curiosity, and wit, and he was so attentive to all our needs, including walking slowly enough that everyone could keep up. We really appreciated the multimedia aspect—all the photos, floor plans, etc. brought the era to life—and the fact that a bathroom break was included! Thank you so much for the wonderful time. Tasty, fun and timely

Emily was a wonderful guide to the delicious foods of Chinatown and Little Italy. I selected this tour because my 12 year old nephew is a foodie and loves Asian food. The tour, on a very hot summer day, was well paced. Emily found us shade when needed and most of the stops were air conditioned. We tasted dumplings, treats from a popular Chinese bakery, lovely sponge cake and Thai tea and then delicious raviolini, pizza and finally cannoli. Along the way Emily entertained us with stories about the neighborhoods we visited as well as the history of all the eateries .

Little adventure

You get a thorough tour of the East Village all to way to Little Italy. It’s a good walk and you learn many other things about the history and culture of the area. You also gain an understanding of NYPD and a new respect for all they have done, especially with regard to the challenges of 9/11. The mafia stories are fascinating and you learn of their impact, both good and bad.

An absolutely must do

We weren't sure how to fill our half day before traveling home. This tour knocked it out of the park. Rebecca was AMAZING!!!!! So knowledgeable, fun, and a great personal photographer! Chelsea Market/High Line Tour

First and foremost, Sarah is a terrific guide. Very friendly and informative Second, the food and Chelsea Market (tacos, donuts, pizza, pastries) and Pier 57 (pot stickers and a drink) were all great and filling. Time to walk around Chelsea Market was nice as well. The High Line was a very nice walk and chance to learn something about NYC I had no knowledge of before. Third, it was a very good value for all we got. My wife and I always do foodie tours and this was one of the best ever for us.

Highly Recommend and Beautiful

It is a spiritually humbling experience with the possibility of grieving loved ones coming to pay their respects to family members within the catacomb. A grieving widow came to visit her recently departed husband after spending 43 years married during our tour. The experience gives mortality motivation and perspective we all need in our busy lives. The history presented and the connection to those laid to rest is a great experience. As a Catholic, we were given time to pray and spend time in reflection.

Our tour guide, Amanda, was AMAZING! She obviously knew a lot about the area in general, but she also knew little tiny facts about the neighborhoods, the streets, and all the places we ate at.
