Top Tour of Grand Central
Richard was a wonderful guide offering us a sneaky peak into the parts of the station that you may never notice if you were dashing through.
He answered all the question asked (by one very enthusiastic lady) clearly and concisely.
After the tour we ate downstairs before taking the train and the food offerings were extensive and well presented.
Thank you again Richard.

A Worthwhile Tour of Grand Central Station
It's a great tour, learning all about the history of the building in addition to things people wouldn't necessarily know or notice as they traverse the building on their way to a train or subway. There is quite a bit of walking and stairs to climb but you get to see parts of the station that, again, you might not know exist (like a tennis court!). Our tour guide was very informative and kind, making sure we could hear him and were comfortable as we walked about.

The station and its restrooms are accessible to wheelchairs and strollers.
Don’t miss the monumental ceiling mural of the night sky over the main concourse, which features 2,500 stars.
Keep an eye out for the secret platform, No. 61, which has an elevator connecting directly to the Waldorf Astoria hotel and was used by Franklin D Roosevelt.
The Grand Central/42nd St. subway station is Manhattan’s busiest, so be prepared for crowds.
