Enrique was a wonderful guide and host. Made the tour more of a community. Loved the parings of tapas and wines and trying it all. I love going on food tours in most European cities and this was no different. Great spots and he was very personable and very happy to share his food and culture with strangers. Wow! Let me just say how amazing Nits was. Not only did she provide incredible detail and fascinating history throughout the tour, but she also came prepared with a binder full of photos that helped bring Madrid's past to life. She truly went above and beyond to make the experience engaging and memorable. One of my favorite parts was the fun little quiz she gave at the end of the tour. It helped reinforce everything we had learned and kept the entire group involved. In fact, I took another tour the next day and found myself sharing facts and stories I had learned from Anita because her explanations were so memorable. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and is passionate about teaching others about Madrid's history. As a gato—a true third-generation Madrileña—she offered a unique local perspective that made the tour even more special. She mentioned that it's becoming increasingly rare to meet true gatos, which made hearing her stories all the more meaningful. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madrid. It was a fantastic two and a half hours, gave us a wonderful overview of the city, and left me with a much deeper appreciation for its history and culture. This was an excellent way to see some musts of artwork in a short amount of time. Sarah was great, informative, well organized, friendly and funny. She had good insights and information about the pieces we were looking at and she even gave us some tips to go see some other art pieces we had on our bucket list. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want a shorter overview of the Prado museum and don’t have a lot of time to dedicate to it. We were very glad we booked this to our with sarah
