This was one of the best places to visit in Madrid. Our tour guide Sergi was SO knowledgeable and such a pleasure to spend the day with. The enchanted city is amazing. So many rocks formations. Conan the Barbarian was filmed there. If you want to take a day away from the cities do this tour.

Our day started with a beautiful views with the OUTSTANDING guidance of Sergi! He explained the history of the Enchanted City with passion and precision. I liked how we got to experience the whole place. Then we had an authentic lunch in Cuenca and got to get to see the charming city and the spectacular views. It was an all day adventure that we will never forget!

Wonderful experience.. we lucked out with the perfect weather! Our guide, Sergi, was passionate and informative detailing geologic history along with fun facts! Enchanted City was breathtaking! We then traveled to Cuenca where Sergi continued to educate and engage us as we walked through the historic city. We enjoyed the most delicious lunch prepared by a world class chef at such a reasonable price. Such a fun day! The bus ride was comfortable and the driver was friendly. We highly recommend this tour and hope you are lucky enough to get Sergi as your guide!

Wonderful experience with our guide, Sergi! One of the best guides I’ve had on a trip. He was so knowledgeable about the Enchanted City and Cuenca. He has great story-telling skills and was able to engage everyone on the tour. He was also very personable during lunch, learning about where everyone is from and their plans in Spain. The best part is that the restaurant they chose was amazing! I am usually hesitant about restaurants on yours since they are usually touristy but he chose an amazing one. It was actually on my list before going on this tour. Highly recommend this tour with Sergi.

Sergi is the best! This guy knows his stuff, told us all about the history of Cuenca - the tour was spaced really well - didn’t feel rushed , was nice to enjoy the different parts of the tour as well. Yes it’s a long day but I feel it was definitely worth it. Sergi does the best impressions with his stories about the town. Dude. LOVE THIS GUY!

Cuenca exceeded all expectations! From the beautiful architecture, to the inspirational houses built on the cliffs, to the incredible food at the local cafés… it was all that you could ask for! Perfect in so many ways!
Our tour guide, Sergi Teba, was incredible. He provided an excellent tour with knowledge of both the enchanted forest and Cuenca. He was very personable with every attendee and made sure everybody was included. He had a great sense of humor and the ability to provide inspiration for the day!

Definitely worth the money. All locations are beautiful. Sergei our tour group guide was awesome. Knew so much and explained nicely so we can all understand. I LOVED all locations. Our bus driver Laura was excellent getting us to our locations navigating tight spaces. She’s the best.

Wonderful experience with a wonderful guide. The bus was clean and comfortable. Plenty of breaks. The short hike at enchanted city was beautiful. Cuenca is amazing. Food at Cuenca was very good.

Christian the guide was wonderful! Well educated and passionate. The Enchanted Forest experience was a peaceful trail walk which was a welcome change from the business of Madrid. It look 1.5 hours to get to Cuenca so glad we opted for this tour.

First this was supposed to be an English speaking guide but was not! Tried his best.
But most importantly it was supposed to be a professional driver. Numerous trouble staying in his driving lane … not sure if tired, drunk or high! Had other vehicles beeping & fingering at him as he was passed! Very scary ride. Love the destination but not getting there or back to Madrid!

Amazing places to visit. Why only 2 out of 10? Firstly this tour is advertised as English guided! Inspite of our guides best efforts his English was very poor. Secondly if you like structure, discipline, punctuality and organization on your tour, this is NOT for you! Period!

Antonio was effective in covering both stops on the Tour list, and kept it fully on time. The pace was quite fast, walking was always a quick pace and did not give us enough time to really enjoy the scenery. I would have love more time to view the Rock Formation from different angles in the Enchanted City. He tried hard to cover a lot of information in both Spanish and English. It would have been more successful if the tour was given in a single Language.

I am currently on the tour. I signed up for an English tour but it is in both Spanish and English. The tour guide does not speak English well. The bus driver and tour guide seem rather unprofessional, including playing the radio on the bus. Based on the tour thus far, I would not recommend to other English speaking visitors.

The sites are all fantastic but the tour company should have oriented their guides better on situations when it is raining.
To start with, at pickup they do not have their regular guide to welcome you. The 2 guides met us an hour later on the bathroom stop. A Spanish speaking and an English guide. The Spanish speaking guide has a microphone but the English guide does not. Usually when there are closed to 40 on the trip they provide whispers. This company did not so you have to be very close to the guide to hear the explanation. It started to rain and guide did not even accommodate us English speakers to be on a shade while he talks. When we were at the plaza where the cathedral is, it started to pour and he just kept it up instead of bringing us where there is shade near the steps to the porta santa. The guides also do not seem to be flexible and do not know where the driver is: several opted not to go to the town of Cuenca: guides said they do not know where driver is: isn’t it basic to know the driver’s cell number so they can call him? Then at the end of the tour they kept saying that the driver will not be at the meeting point even when it was pouring so hard. We were all drenched.
I have been to so many Viator tours all over the world and this company that Viator uses need to train their guides.

We are glad that you liked our excursion, it is a shame that the rain spoiled it but it is something that we cannot intervene in.
Just two clarifications because your comments can lead to confusion: a guide received you, was with you at the technical stop, and the other guides were waiting for you in Cuenca, and were with you throughout the visit to Cuenca and the Enchanted City. The group of English speakers did not even reach 20 people, our agency divides the group into two parts whenever there are more than 30 people; there were only more than 40 people on the bus, where you can hear very well through the speakers. The guides have 25 and 10 years of experience in Cuenca, they could have made a small mistake but they are more than capable. Also, the day before the excursion, we sent you a message to warn you to bring a raincoat and umbrella, that is a point in our favor, don't you think?
However, we really appreciate your comments and will take them into account to improve. Thank you very much for coming!

Beautiful but very scary town. David (driver) and Fernando (tour guide) were excellent. The description of this tour should ve more detailed as it should state that there is a lot of physical exertion.
