Top Madrid Walking Tours

This was an excellent tour and a great way to experience one of Madrid’s most impressive landmarks. The skip-the-line access made entry easy, and our guide was outstanding. Her knowledge of the Royal Palace, Spanish history and the stories behind the rooms and artefacts brought the entire visit to life. She was engaging, easy to listen to and encouraged questions throughout the tour. What could have been a simple walk through a beautiful building became a much richer experience because of the context and history she shared. The palace itself is magnificent, with stunning rooms, artwork and architecture, but the guide’s explanations helped us understand not only what we were seeing but why it was important. The group size was also spot on. On a busy and very warm day in Madrid, it was large enough to create a good atmosphere but small enough to comfortably hear the guide, ask questions and move through the palace without feeling crowded. As visitors to Madrid, we found this to be a fantastic introduction to Spain’s royal history and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get more from their visit than simply wandering through on their own.

Fantastic way to see major sites in the center of Madrid. There are a few hills so take that into consideration when choosing what type of bicycle to ride. Storage available for bags you might not want to take with you on the ride. I petsonally would have liked fewer but longer stops. Abdul is a great guide.

One should not attempt a museum such as the Prado without an experienced and knowledgeable guide! The visit is enhanced by such a great margin, that is hardly worth going without one. Florine was an exceptional guide and he narrowed down pieces in the museum, which were important for us to see. He was so professional and yet so personable that we truly enjoyed our time with him.

Very articulate. Learned a lot about Spanish history 1700’s to now. Great guide , plus he waited for me & my family since we were running late in Madrid traffic. He even kept my teen kids engaged in 100 degree heat. If we could give him 10 stars we would.

Excellent tour very informative, it was mainly based around the royal palace. Jesus was great fun , very knowledgeable and informative. We felt we got to know the grandeur of the palace which is still in use today. A must tour if you are visiting Madrid

This truely was a small tour of only 4 of us and really opened our eyes to the old Madrid! Definitely gave us a greater admiration for the city and so pleased we did it. Our tour guide was lovely and very enthusiastic and made the history of Madrid come alive! Just a warning that it was over 3 hours long and as it commenced at 11am it was getting very hot by the end Maybe an earlier start could considered

My sister and I booked this tour and we really enjoyed it!! Andrea was our guide and he was great - very easy to talk to but knowledge at the same time. I preferred the small group setting, because you got to know all the other travelers throughout the tour. If you’re considering booking I would 100% recommend and make sure to get Andrea!!
