Fantastic Paella Class!

This cooking class was so much fun. First we had cheese and wine while we chatted with the other people in the class. Then Brooks showed us how to make a traditional sangria. Then we went into the kitchen with Andres and learned how to make seafood paella with squid and prawns. While the paella was cooking we learned how to make churros. Brooks and Andres made the class so much fun. Would definitely recommend it!!

Chef Ivan and Muigel were great. We had so much fun learning how to make amazing paella and sangria. We had a great time with them and they took pictures and shared them so that we can always remember this wonderful experience. Also the best paella I have ever had. A great fun evening, if you like cooking, and then sharing all the food with others round the table I did worry going solo but it wasn't a problem. Learnt some great news recepies, which you get given to take home as well. Recommend to anyone who enjoys the kitchen, and learning new foods. We took a churro-making class and it was an absolute blast! The kids enjoyed it a lot, and the hands-on experience of making them from scratch made it extra special. The churros turned out incredible and tasted fantastic. We had so much fun that we will definitely be making lots more churros once we get back home. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience!!!

We had such a great experience at Lola’s cooking class! We had never utilized a cooking experience while traveling but it was such a great way to learn more about local cuisine and culture. Lola was fantastic. The class was very well-paced; there wasn’t down time but I also never felt rushed and we had time to truly enjoy tasting our cooking creations. The recipes all turned out fantastic- some of the best food we experienced in Madrid- and all paired with delicious wine. Lola’s space was beautiful and the location was great, we walked directly to a Reina Sofia afterwards to enjoy some art. Overall, cannot recommend this experience enough!!!

One of the most fantastic experiences we have ever had - so much fun! It is a "must do" for anyone visiting Madrid - we took the class with our family and are so happy we did! Amazing, fun, entertaining and knowledgeable team of chefs to help you cook (and make sure it was going as planned) great upbeat music and wine! We were laughing from the moment we got there. An amazing experience

This is the second cooking class I’ve attended here and can’t speak highly enough of the experience. Pau is a wonderful guide, and the other staff are warm and welcoming. We got to cook tapas from all parts of Spain and made some great friends in the class with which to share the experience. The unlimited wine is truly unlimited and you get to eat the tapas as you go as well as a main course at the end. Worth repeating.

Cooking clubhouse class!

Came for the cooking, stayed for Beni’s jokes! He was an amazing instructor, super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the class so much fun from start to finish. My family and I learned so much, the food was delicious, and the whole experience was so well organized. I’d do it all over again. Definitely a 10/10 experience and I would highly recommend it!

Tony taught the paella and sangria making class. He was professional, engaging, funny and taught us about the history and culture of Spain it was fantastic! I would totally do knit again and would highly recommend it. The food turned out amazing and the sangria as well as all the wines shared were great!

Cooking, Eating, Drinking and History ... all in one! One of the highlights of our time in Madrid!

What a wonderful experience! Our guide/chef was Arantxa with Devour Tours and she was amazing. Such great energy and deep knowledge of culinary history not just in Madrid but throughout Spain. It was fun to walk through the market, learn about the different ingredients, and even buy some smoked paprika to take back home with us. Then to the gorgeous kitchen we would be working in. A dream kitchen! We didn't just watch and listen ... she put us to work! It was a fully participatory experience ... we cooked tapas while tasting delicious wine and vermouth. Met lovely people who were also guests on the tour and had such an amazing time!

Fab. Just fab!!!!

Wine tasting with Luke was an absolute highlight! 🍷 Not only was the wine selection fab (and dangerously drinkable), but Luke made the whole experience hilarious from start to finish. The hour flew by with great stories, loads of laughs, and full-on banter. Somehow we learned about wine while also laughing most of the time — which in my opinion is exactly how wine tasting should be! Relaxed, entertaining, and very well hosted. Highly recommend… just be prepared to leave smiling and possibly wanting another glass! 😄🍷
