The excursion delayed 40 min to begin, while we had to wait outside in a cold morning. On the other hand, the time to come Back to Madrid was the same. So.. We had to visit Toledo in less than 2 hours!

First off, I was running late. My Uber driver dropped me off ten minutes away from the bus but, the driver was very kind and waited. Miguel is an excellent driver. Our tour guide, Angel, was very considerate to speak in English and Spanish. Very knowledgeable and very nice. I enjoyed learning about Toledo and wish to go back but for more time. Thank you for a very good experience!

Overall, we enjoyed this side trip from Madrid. The stop at a steel shop was totally unnecessary. Instead of a tour or providing info, they just wanted visitors to visit the shop and spend money. Gave me not a great feeling. However. Ricardo was a great in-town (in Toledo) guide. Thorough, charming, and helpful with directions. The church and tower were gorgeous and the small winding roads were fun to explore. And the views…… stunning!!!

The town is beautiful. But, the tour was terrible. The guide spoke very little English. He had a very heavy accent. The tour wasn’t great. They dump you in a sword shop.

It started out great! By the time we got to the walking tour, it went left. The tour guide was nowhere to be found. We did not know which bus to get on. No one was familiar from the original bus. The tour guide, did not inform us of a different bus or driver. The ride back was horrible! It was so hot. It was ridiculous! We all were so hot!
