Back on the bus for a walking tour of the medieval fortress city of Avila, another UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its impressive city walls. If you’ve booked the lunch option, feast on Iberian specialties in an Old Town restaurant; if not, you’ll have free time to explore and grab a bite.
There’s no need to worry about trains and bus schedules. Your guide whisks you on to your third destination, UNESCO-listed Segovia. Visit the Roman aqueduct then admire the cathedral and the Alcazar of Segovia from outside.
Your bus drops you a short walk from the original pickup point.

Very interesting tour- especially if you are interested in Medieval history. Our guides Antonio and Diego took us to three medieval cities-Segovia, Avila and Toledo and all had beautiful castles and Roman ruins (aqueducts, Medieval churches as well as buildings with Arabic influence).
Guides were very knowleagable and friendly and gave us good tips regarding each city. So much history in each place and awesome to experience same as an Australian. Highly recommended if you are a first time visitor to Madrid.

I came with my spouse and this was a very informative excursion. Certainly got our steps in while appreciating the vast and complex history of these three towns.
This is a very informative tour. Christina did a great job and also added in some humor. The three cities are very worth going to. You will have about an hour bus ride between each city except for Toledo will be about an hour and a half. It is all day 8 until 8. Definitely worth the money.
This tour is top notch! On time, with thoughtful consideration of having stops to eat and use the restroom. The sites were all breathtaking, with plenty of free time to roam and explore on your own as well.
It was great and well organized. The guides are really helpfull and having very good knowledge in the areas. I highly recommend this tour.
This was an amazing day visiting three different cities each with cathedral, castle and old landmark. We saw the aqueduct in Segovia, walked on the walls of Ávila, and toured the cathedral of Toledo all in one day. Our very friendly and knowledgeable guide, Eduardo, kept us informed at all times and gave good recommendations as well.
A really good day trip and you certainly cover allot! I did not know about these three places 10 years ago and I certainly do now.
The 2 guides were knowledgeable about the subject matter and gave good introduction to the 3 places of the tour. Segovia and Avila were ok. Toledo was the best among the 3 places visited. The ride was comfortable It would have been great if the tour was one language.
Our guide Leo was great and informative and driver Sergio was excellent. I would change the lunch spot in Avial to someplace inside the wall.
Can't recommend enough if you are in Madrid and don't have a lot of time to explore the surrounding Spain. You could easily spend a day at each of these cities alone, but it was a joy to get a glimpse of the most beautiful sights each had to offer. Antonio and Diego were amazing tour guides and kept the information fun and engaging. Our driver Sergio got us through the hours of bus time smoothly and efficiently. As a 12 hour trip, the time really flies. I could have comfortably spent another 3 hours. That being said, I felt like there was just enough time to appreciate each place and it serves as an inspiration to return again when I have more time to spare.
This was a wonderful way to spend a day out and about around the area outside of Madrid. We had two wonderful tour guides, and a driver that made sure everything was good to go. I highly recommend this tour
This is a great tour and the perfect way to cover a lot of ground in one day. You get to see the three beautiful cities of Segovia, Avilia, and Toledo, and they are not to be missed when visiting Madrid.
My one note is that we should not have chosen the option with lunch included. The lunch was okay, but we got a short guided tour of Avilia, and then they took us directly to lunch. We didn't get an opportunity to walk around the city on our own, so I feel like we missed out.
The Tour is wonderful. We had a great time our tour directors were absolutely amazing Edwardo and Jose Maria was excellent they spoke wonderful English and very pleasant.. They both took turns explaining the history of each city. We highly recommend taking this tour.
Good selections of cities to see. Guides were very knowledgeable. Especially loved Toledo. The views of the city were spectacular.
Diego and Eduardo were great tour guides, taking us through each of the three cities. I felt like I got a good overview of each city while having the free time in each city to explore and discover things on my own. There is a lot of time on the bus between cities, so make sure you have a portable battery for your phone or take a nap. Definitely a long day due to the distance between cities, but highly recommend this tour to see more of Spain.

Great tour, amazing. Driver was a little tired and ! was worried, so we took the train back to be safe.
My husband drives across states, so he can spot that. I would never trust the driver|
This was an all day tour where approximately half the time was spent traveling between cities and the remainder was on the bus. There is a lot of walking in the tour and it can be hot (we went in early September) so plan accordingly.
Our tour guide was Laura who provided a lot of very interesting information about each location. She made the tour very educational as well as enjoyable. If you enjoy seeing and learning about Roman era aqueducts, medieval cities, and the historical culture of Spain, this is a marvelous trip to take…we thoroughly enjoyed it!
Antonio and Diego were wonderful guides with broad knowledge and awareness of how the group was managing. Lots of walking with recovery time between cities. The cathedral visit was worth the extra cost. Highly recommended!

Excellent way to see all 3 cities with limited time. A bit rushed at times but still time to appreciate the main sites. The aqueduct in Segovia was amazing, the Cathedrals in all cities beautiful and the old city walls impressive. In Avila, we were able to visit the monastery of St Theresa but had to rush.
This was a great way to visit 3 beautiful cities in one day. Jose and Diego were very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information at each site. They made sure that we saw the most important areas in each city and gave time for pictures. I highly recommend taking this tour with them
Time in each city went by fast! You only get a small glance of certain areas and Laura did a great job sharing historical commentary. The bus made it convenient to get to all three in one day. If you want more time to really immerse yourself in a city - choose Toledo and go on your own or with a tour for a day.
This is a very long day but well worth it. If you are short on time and want to see a lot, this is the trip for you. Wear comfortable shoes and come well rested but know that it will be an amazing day! Edwardo and Cristina were the best!
One of the best tours ever. Exhausting both worth it. Visiting these ancient cities, and seeing first hand the medieval structures was amazing.
Wonderful tour of three very interesting cities. Thought it would be a long day however the sites and tour guides Eduardo and Diego were superb. They kept it interesting, with thorough knowledge of it all with great personality.
Would definitely recommend this tour and if you are fortunate enough, to take it with Eduardo and Diego.
Nice way to see UNESCO heritage sites without having to drive. Antonio and Eduardo were fantastic guides and thank you to Juan Carlo for driving.

We had a great time visiting all three cities. They are rich with history and the guides were informative and helpful.
This 3-city tour was amazing, Laura and Jose gave all the highlights for each stop and were very helpful. I suggest doing both the lunch and cathedral on top of the original ticket.
A very nice day-trip however be aware of the fact that a great deal of physicality is required (especially in Toledo). We were lucky to have Eduardo and Jose as the tour guides
Be prepared for a big day. Our guides were awesome, Eduardo and Diego were amazing. They were knowledgeable and really helpful. Everything ran smoothly and we learned so much about the historical side of the three cities. Thanks to these two fellas we had an awesome day.
