Top Madrid Food Tours

This was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Rodrigo was so energetic, fun and accommodating. Me and my husband were gonna be late to the meeting point due to heavy traffic. I sent a message via Whatsapp because the tour guide's name/number were provided in advance. Rodrigo was very understanding. He shared his live location and also told me the name) address of the tour's 1st stop. We were 10 mins late so we were able to just meet up with the group at the 1st stop on the tour.Our group was so much fun. There was such a synergy within the group that was unmatched. All of the stops were fun and I enjoyed all of the food ans wine My only complaint would be that the dining space at all of the restaurants were kind of tight; it woukd have been nice to have more room.

We give this tour 5-stars because Trip Advisor will not allow us to give 10. Can’t say enough great things about this tour. Our guide Ella (Spain Food Sherpas) was absolutely amazing and passionate providing a deep dive into the history of culinary arts in Spain. The tour included a walking tour through the streets of Madrid stopping along the way to point out different landmarks and other items of interest we completely missed in our previous four days walking those same streets. The different places we stopped for Tapas, Wine and dessert were correctly chosen to illustrate the very points made throughout the evening. A couple things stand out about this experience. First, Ella’s willingness to share both good and bad makes her credible; her deep love for Spanish culture and tradition comes across as genuine and authentic which made the experience pleasurable; Ella making the experience interactive allowed a group of strangers to spend time together like we’d been friends forever; and finally Ella’s rapport with the establishment owners made it clear her authentic nature isn’t just appreciated by us but everyone with whom she encounters. One recommendation…do this tour early during your stay in Madrid so you can enjoy the benefits when choosing dining locations throughout the rest of your visit.

Angel was a wonderful instructor at the Cooking Point which was so clean and accommodating for all of our cooking. He was a knowledgeable instructor and we enjoyed the shopping for ingredients and learning about Spanish foods and techniques for cooking. Highly recommend!

Gabriela was a great host for our group! I enjoyed visiting restaurants/taverns with so much history and that have been operated by the same family over multiple generations. It was a fun experience even as a solo traveler, as Gabriela made everyone feel welcome and part of the group.

The class is very well organized. Each position around the countertops had all ingredients ready to go to prepare each recipe. We all chose a station & began cooking right away. Chef Gustavo assisted al9ng the way. Everyone learned a bit about each recipe. The food & sangria were delicious!

Adolfo is a wonderful guide! He is very knowledgeable about Madrid’s history and has excellent recommendations for the surrounding area. This is a great tour for anyone who has never had Spanish cuisine before and would like to try some of the most popular dishes with a local. Thank you Adolfo!!

Fantastic tour and the guide was very adaptable to group preferences. Got some history along the way. When the tour was over the guide noticed our group was still having fun; so he took us to a great cocktail bar so we could continue our night without him. We had a great time!

We loved this show! The singing and dancing were amazing! The food was just okay and there was a bit of a language barrier between us and the waiter. Some confusion as to what we could order; it seemed as though there was a different menu for folks on a tour. Notwithstanding, we had a wonderful time!
