Very efficient way of travelling to Toledo and getting to know the lovely town and all the history. Our guide was very knowledgable and answered all our questions. I liked having a short guided tour and then having a few hours to explore by ourselves and grab lunch as well.

Good day out, everything worked as advertised with clear instructions. Tour guides knowledgeable. We enjoyed the time we had ourselves to explore Toledo. Would recommend the views from Iglesias de los Jesuitas towers and a glass of red from mirador del alcazar with great views of the river and gorge. The only down side was the tour of the sword factory when didn't do much for us and would like to have had the time in Toledo. We looked at public transport bit this is the cheapest option and easiest way to visit plus you get a guided tour. We would not recommend less than a day tour.

I wanted to start by saying that the company, VDT, did a great job transporting us to Toledo and back. The first issue we had upon arrival in Toledo was learning that for an all day tour, the guided walking part of the tour was only 45 minutes. The second issue was that our tour guide (Anthony) was not the most informative. He was not friendly, and his speeches were rushed without providing much substance. He is well aware of the history of Toledo, but we are not. The information he provided seemed to be the bare minimum and was lacking. He knew where the good picture spots were, and I’ll give him that. But we were left very disappointed with the guided waking tour.

The information of Toledo was very poor. Example this area here has a great view. Let’s move on. No in depth information of how the the religion coexisted. Gave very vague information. I will not purchase the tour through this company again.

We had a very nice time seeing Toledo. The tour included a nice scenic drive around the city as well as a brief walking tour. The only downside was the return bus ride was on a bus with malfunctioning air conditioning.

The busy left promptly at 10. I enjoyed the panoramic views and stop for photos. I didn't think it was necessary to stop at the shop for a minimum of 20 minutes to provide the store sales. In addition, there was not enough free time to enjoy the sights as the bus left at 4:30 pm. Best to do the trip on your own, I think.

I would not recommend this tour company to anyone as all you will be getting would be a bus ride to Toledo and most likely you will miss your return trip to Madrid. A bunch of us missed the return trip to Madrid due to poor communication by the tour guide. He gave us the wrong meeting point for the return trip to Madrid and subsequently we missed the bus due to the incompetence of the tour guide. All they do is give you a transportation and this is a self guided tour so be warned before you book the trip. SELF -GUIDED TOUR

Great tour, great guide.
Bus though was terrible, dirty and seats ripped, temp was 40°c and NO air-conditioning on bus. Sitting on bus for 30mins before returning, bus showing 45°c.

This was great excursion. Arrangements for departure from Madrid were easy: the arrival at Toledo with iconic views was very worthwhile. Our guide was helpful and informative and gave a great introduction to Toledo - this was our first visit. We opted into the cathedral tour once arrived. We had considered public transport options but are glad we chose this excursion that we fully recommend.

I wanted to do a day trip somewhere from Madrid. I was going to take the train but it actually worked out cheaper booking this trip.
Trip included air con bus, walking tour in English only & free time to explore.
Walking tour was very fast in a busy spot & although it was fine for me, a lot of the group struggled to keep up

The guide was nit clear about where to get the bus back. Therefore I andc5 other people missed it. They told us no more buses so we had to find our own way back.

Lady guide walked and talked too fast leaving behind those of us who struggled to keep up with the upward and downward alleyways.
Admittedly we were 5 minutes late, and the bus left without us.
All said, Toledo is worth every huff and every puff.

We got the guided tour and it was impossible to hear any of the talk. I asked them to turn up the volume one the bus microphone but it didn’t work. There was a mandatory stop in a gift shop that took about 30 minutes. The walking tour was very basic and we could hear almost nothing because the guide didn’t have any microphone and the whole bus was with one guide. After all that, we only had about 2 hours to explore Toledo on our own.

Beautiful day in Toledo that included bus transportation, guided walking tour of parts of Toledo, bracelet to enter 7 different short exhibits/attractions, and guided tour of Toledo Cathedral. Ample free "on your own time." The only part that I think could be excluded is (prior to entering the historic center) the bus' first stop at sword/silver making factory. Otherwise very good value when you consider the cost of going to Toledo on your own via car, bus, or train.

The explanation of the cathedral only.
The trip did not need to stop at that first place for people to look at those items. A bathroom can be found in town by stopping for a snack or drink.
I would suggest the guide has maps highlighted with the added attractions some have paid for so they know where to find them. As well the meeting point.
Toledo is a diff to to navigate and as much help is required.

This was a very memo trip. Value for the money is great. We included the Cathedral tour and the admission bracelets. I highly recommend these options as the tour was very detailed and informative, and the bracelet saved us a lot of time. Some of the sites are smaller so the bracelet allowed us to hop in and out quickly. Our tour guide was trained in art history and provided us a lot of insight we would not have known otherwise.

The perfect day trip to take a break from Madrid. An hour's drive by coach, a walking tour and then ample time to grab lunch, marvel at the interior of the Cathedral and still have time to wander and get lost in the narrow alleys of this UNESCO town. Lovely arrangement.

We went for the half day Toledo walking tour. The tour guide told us to go back to the morning drop off location after the self walking tour to take the VPT bus at 4:15pm to return to Madrid. When we got back to the pickup location at 4:00, we saw the bus was leaving the pickup location. We thought the bus was to make a round and came back. We waited till 5:00pm and finally had to take the ALSA Madrid direct with others to go back to Madrid. We regret using this tour company.

The zip line over the Tagus river which flows all the way to Lisbon and out to the Atlantic Ocean. The guide allowed plenty of free time and showed us a lot of places.

Toledo a beautiful and impressive city to visit. The guide did a good job despite the number of people he had in charge of him. and he explained to us in two languages the history of Toledo. Despite his efforts, it was becoming difficult to hear. I recommend for future audio system. As in another excursion that we went to in Spain.

Based on the reviews I thought this would be the perfect tour for us. Unfortunately it turned out to be a terrible experience and didn’t get to see much of Toledo. Our first stop was at a factory and a waste of time. Our large group of 30 was divided into English speaking and Spanish speaking for this factory tour only. I wouldn’t exactly call it a tour in that we saw one room where someone was heating up iron and another room where someone was creating something. Even our divided group was too large for the small space and we couldn’t hear the English guide. Wasn’t until they took us to their showroom to make purchases that we figured out what they made. Best part of this stop was getting to the restroom.
We made a brief stop to take pictures of the Toledo city from up on the surrounding hills. I think our guides name was Rachel but Im not sure She did a great job in switching her communication between English and Spanish but that was the only thing she did well. We got to Toledo. Bus dropped us off and we were told we would learn later where the pickup point was going to be. Rachel took off with our large group of 30 at a break-neck speed. She had on a mobile microphone but she was so far ahead of us we couldn’t hear anything. She did not slow down or check to see if all the members of the group were together. At times she was easily 120 meters ahead of us and there was one time we couldn’t see where she had gone. Finally, when she stopped she said we were now on our own and tried to explain where we were to meet our bus. Everyone was confused on her directions and it was obvious we were not the only people upset with her service.
I thought this tour would provide us with a map and show us where things were and recommend to us the best things to do on our free time. We got none of this. I actually had to find an information center to get a map. We were so concerned about finding our way back that we didn’t even have time to stop and see some of the sites.
I’ve been on many Viator tours and this was the worse I’ve ever been on. It was a waste of time and money. We did not receive the tour as described.
