Interesting and enjoyable

We booked Changing of the Guard and were pleasantly surprised with a Trooping of the Colours rehearsal parade. Our tour guide, Peter, was great and knew all the history of the parade. He made the experience much more interesting, answering all our questions, and was entertaining with his stories. Definitely would recommend.

Worth having the tour guide

We were glad that we did this with a tour guide. It made it much more interesting with her antidotes. Really enjoyed the time with Beefeater as well. We did version with boat tour and it shortened our time in the Tower area. I would not choose that version. Choose version without boat ride. We had to rush through White Tower. You can easily do boats later. Meeting her at location was easy.

Nice tour

Very nice tour. Best part by far was Windsor Castle, Stonehenge was definitely amazing. Oxford was honestly a bit underwhelming. We wandered around and looked at some buildings and checked out some shops. As is often the case with full day tours, a lot of your time will be spent on the bus between stops, but it's a great way to see multiple sites with limited time.

Fascinating tour of Churchill’s War Rooms

We really enjoyed the tour of the war rooms with Guy who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He spent time filling in a lot of background information about the start of the war and how the buildings came to be in use which enhanced the whole experience. We also learnt a lot about Winston Churchill himself.

This is an excellent and full tour. There is way too much to absorb during the tour so stay longer and continue to meander through the Cathedral. Our guide was excellent and full of stories as well as basic facts. The crowds are large and got worse through the day.

Fantastic

Our tour guide, Ursula, was fantastic! Her wealth of knowledge and cheerful demeanor really made the trip special. Stonehenge was a blast, but I wish we had more time to wander around Windsor’s shops—they were even more enjoyable than the castle itself. Just a heads-up: photography isn’t allowed inside the castle, so be prepared for that. We hurried through it to catch up on the shops, and the traffic delay added an hour to our journey each way. However, she found a wonderful spot for dinner at a local pub. Our driver, Christian, was incredibly patient with the traffic, which added an extra hour to our trip. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this tour!

The Muggles Tour exceeded our expectations!

Our guide Harry "Trotter" (not really his last name) led us on a facinating journey through town. We started in one market place and ended in another (which was convenient for snacking before and after the tour). Harry really knew his stuff, and got us very involved with discussions that tested our memory of the books and films. He also related a lot of information that was not well known about the cast, the making of the movies, and the history and significance of the areas that we visited. We were enthralled with his detailed knowledge and also his enthusiasm (which was contageous).

A real treat of a tour

Paul, our tour guide, was excellent! His comments were knowledgeable and sprinkled with humor. He was very aware of the mobility issues ofcsome of the tour members an adjusted his pace accordingly. He slso made sure to speak to each of the participants individually. But, be aware, you can only tip in cash. We wanted to give him a tip for a great tour but we were cashless! So hopefully , there can be some mechanism that you could Venmo to tip.

That it doesn't start at the Palace - totally on us for not reading the information completely but thankfully we still caught our group with Louise. Had a lot of interesting commentary to cover sites up the Mall but was heavy on American references. Once you get into the Palace, its a Palace based audio tour. Still great, thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

It’s awesome! Takes a little bit to get to the speed part, but then it’s so much fun! Music selection was really nice and appropriate. Emma’s directions were clear and she was so nice and friendly!!
