We had a wonderful private tour of the Tower of London with Denisa! She was very knowledgeable and had a warm personality that made us feel like we were taking the tour with a friend. This was a wonderful tour with a very knowledgeable guide (Marina) who walked us through the history of the Tower of London, it's prisoners, the executions that took place, and all of the royalty that resided there through the ages. Marina was very good at explaining the succession of kings using many visual aids (which we appreciated very much). You could tell that she really enjoyed explaining all the detailed information she had, which made this a very enjoyable tour. We also were able to view the Royal Crown Jewels, and with Marina's explanation of what to look for while viewing, we were able to see things we would have missed. This private tour was worth every cent, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves England history.

Galina was an excellent tour guide. She texted the day before to tell us where to meet her. As a Blue Badge holder, she was incredibly knowledgeable and kept us interested throughout the tour. She guided us around the Tower of London to minimize queues and prepped us beforehand as to what we were going to see when we went to an area in which she was not allowed to talk to us. Her explanations of The Crown Jewels, along with the pictures she had, really prepared us for what we were going to see and the history behind them. It really improved the entire experience. At the end of the tour, she walked us the entire way to the tube station to ensure we got on the correct train. Definitely recommend this tour.

Outstanding tour guide (Ben) that was wonderfully personable and knowledgeable. He rates 6-stars all day long. What doesn't is the fact that the company oversells how quiet and crowd-free it will be. We were early, and it wasn't. Their relentless marketing and pressure for an immediate review is also off-putting. It'd be nice to actually get home before getting pummeled by email and text.

Just to clarify, with around 3 million annual visitors, we focus on expert guidance rather than promising empty spaces at the Tower of London. In this case, a visit at any other time would have meant missing that moving VJ Day memorial ceremony entirely - so a balance has to be struck.
We apologise if the review timing upset you, we ask promptly while your experience is fresh and details are vivid - waiting longer often means those special moments get forgotten.

This is the only way to see the Tower of London!! Lucy really brought the history alive, taking our group through centuries of British monarchs. It was fascinating to hear about intrigue and murder in the very rooms in which it all happened. We have young people in our family, ranging in age from 10 to 17 years, and they were spellbound. I would imagine that visiting the tower of London in a large group or without a guide would be a pretty dry experience. This was so entertaining and educational at the same time. Well worth it!

Tour guide was wonderful. She helped a mobility impaired person in our group get the most out of the visit. Could not see where Ann Boleyn was buried due to renovations which was disappointing but saw the ravens, beefeaters, execution site, Traitor's Gate, and more. Tower was much more than expected and had a great time.
