Our guide was very knowledgeable about Shakespeare and the theater, which would have been great if it was that kind of tour. We did sample 6 English dishes, and they were all tasty, but it seemed a little too long for the amount of food we got.

Lots of really good food and a great tour of the London Bridge area. Chris was very knowledgeable and a great guide. My only complaint was that he teased us with a “surprise” at the end of the tour that turned out to be doughnut- this was right after we had sticky toffee pudding. Too many sweets in my opinion. I could have used a cup of coffee or tea, or literally anything else.

This was a great tour and Ryan is an excellent guide. The food we ate was wonderful. The Borough Market is fantastic , but absolutely mobbed on a Saturday, so I’d try to go on a different day if possible.

Gary was an excellent tour guide teaching us little-known origins of words like honeymoon littered sporadically with bad but funny dad jokes. If you think you need lunch or dinner think again. I could not even finish everything we got on the tour. Some of the items like the sausage roll you may think you know you Gary takes you to the BEST place to get one, and in London there are loads of options. All the quintessential English foods and a bonus take home to boot. This is my second Secret Food Tour and I feel like it will probably not be my last.
Unfortunately had to cancel a second ticket for my friend due to a family emergency so be careful of the 24 hour rule.

We had a half day open after working in London before heading home. We found this tour and booked the 3:00 pm one with Gary as our guide. There were 3 in our party in addition to 3 others. Gary was an excellent guide. We were given background on the area, history stories, delicious food and drinks and a couple of breaks built in to wander around Borough Market ourselves. While the idea is that it is a "taste" of London / Borough Market, we were all full by the end of the tour and didn't need dinner that evening. Gary was genial, engaging and more than happy to share recommendations with the group. I would definitely recommend this tour, and while I had considered the option to pay the premium to make it a private tour, we were not disappointed at all.

We always enjoy our Viator events and this Secret Food Tours of London was no exception! Billie our guide was amazing! She was engaging and so personable and very genuine. Meeting point directions were awful. Uber driver took us to address for meeting point and no one was there. Checked email and they had a different meeting point. Uber dropped us off at address for meeting point on app. This was Very upsetting as we spent almost $500 on the tour. When we finally got to meeting point, guide was gone and after calling them several times to attempt to catch up with the tour - no answer to phone calls or Whats App messages. We use Viator often and this is the first time we’ve been late and we attempted to contact them. Frustrating to say the least. We didn’t expect guide to wait for us - we were 22 minutes late, but expected them to at least answer calls/what’s app so we could have the opportunity to catch up with them! Not happy at all. Guess we need to look for other tour companies since Viator sees no value in our loyalty to them

Hi Debbie, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We would like to add some context as to what took place regarding communication on the day of your tour. Before the tour began, our Support Team reached out to let you know that your guide was already at the meeting point and easy to spot with an orange umbrella. We also asked for your estimated arrival time so we could help coordinate. A follow up message was sent shortly after, but we did not receive a response to either message.
Later, we received a message from you letting us know that you were lost. Our team replied promptly, asking for your current location and confirming again that our guide was waiting and actively looking for you at the meeting spot. Unfortunately, we did not receive a reply to that message. As the start time had passed and this is a moving food tour with scheduled stops, our guide needed to continue so the rest of the guests could enjoy the experience as planned. We did send one more message to let you know that our guide had also tried to reach you by phone, but we were unable to reconnect in time.
This tour is one of our most popular in London and regularly receives positive reviews from guests. While we understand how disappointing it is to miss out, our team did make multiple attempts to connect and assist on the day.

This was a great tour of the Burrough Market!! It is the absolute perfect way to get samplings of amazing food without the lines!! Which are quite long btw. The samples were the perfect size. Also had a bit of break time to wander around the market on my own. Would highly recommend this tour!

I cannot say enough good things about this tour. We did a lot of tours over the course of our week in London and all were good - but Gary was the best. Besides showing us around the treasure that is Borough Market and having us eat a sampling of excellent foods, he was able to tell us a ton about London and offer us other recommendations for things to do.
