Clifford, our guide, was outstanding! He was knowledgeable, was able to provide historical facts and history, and was very engaging. I would 100% recommend him to anyone doing this tour. We saw so much! We were so grateful.
Clifford was the best driver/tour guide we could have asked for. He was considerate of my wife's mobility issues and was always there at the cab door to help her in and out of the cab. He showed us sights in London we never would have seen on our own. His knowledge of London is superior. He was entertaining and knowledgeable about London and its history. He extended the tour by almost an hour because he wanted to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see. If you're going to do a Black Cab tour of London, ask for Clifford. You will not regret it.
Paul was OUTSTANDING! He was funny, safe, and just as excited as we were. He was awesome! He took his time to explain the history and provided a lot of context. This is a kust do tour.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and took us to very interesting and significant spots not on the usual tourist list along with all the usual spots we expected to see. Loved it!

It’s the perfect way to see a lot and learn a lot if you are low on energy or time. Our guide did a great job “ reading the room” and tailoring the time to best meet our needs.
I enjoyed this tour very much. I was impressed with the wealth of knowledge my driver Clifford provided during the tour and his willingness to accommodate my tour requests, for specific areas I wanted to visit. It was an excellent tour and he was an excellent tour guide! I am very grateful and highly recommend.
We had the pleasure of touring with Lee who was early, had a very clean cab with panoramic roof and cold water. He was kind and friendly but most of all didn’t make us feel silly asking all of our questions. He went out of his way to help us take great photos at multiple stops. I’m so glad we booked with Lee. He is a true wealth of knowledge. He could have been a history professor LOL! He even gave us the history of the black cab.
Sunday is a great day to do it, as there is less traffic to deal with. We had a fabulous driver with incredible knowledge of London. I'm a dual citizen of the USA/UK, born to an English mother who was born just before WW2 in Stratford, northeast London. She and my grandad shared numerous tales of London as they walked me through the city when I was a child. My grandad was born and raised in Whitechapel and was very knowledgeable, but together they still didn't have the knowledge of our black cab driver; he was amazing! This trip was a year ago and I enjoyed it so much I'm back in London and will do it again Sunday.
Perry was exceptional. Knowledgeable, entertaining, accommodating, personable and engaging. He informed without preaching. He shared his favorite fish and chips place, which was wonderful. Our 4-hour tour flew by. Perry listenened to our questions and personalized his interactions which added to the experience.
Maria did a great job of learning about our interests and then executed a wonderful and informative tour. We gained a great insight into the history of London
It was the best and least tiring way to see London. We also learned a lot about the history and places that we wanted to learn about not just the typical tourist destinations. We saw a lot more places than we could have on our own and learned much more from our guide than we otherwise would have. Dave was the best guide ever!
It’s was a great experience Nick my guide was very knowledgeable and seems to be an expert on many things and culture around London. I was do it again.
Our driver, Ralton was great. Very patient & accomodating of some mobility issues we had. Took us to all the main places we wanted to see and a LOT of places we would never have known about, like the oldest hattery and the original Twinings shop. This was a great way to get an introduction to London on our first day here!

The private Black Cab tour was excellent! Our driver was so kind and professional. He gave great commentary throughout the tour. He was very willing to take photos if the two of us in the various locations. I feel like he went the extra mile during the tour. The highlight for me was visiting the Abby Road studio which I didn’t expect. This was a great way to get an overview of London when we arrived.

If you can get Maria, GET MARIA!!! She was absolutely fantastic and did such an amazing job of helping us see london on our first day of our trip. I knew we would be jetlagged and didn't want to risk losing a whole day to a random nap or aimless wandering, so I booked the four hour tour figuring we could see all the major landmarks without kids complaining of tired legs and without any of us having to figure anything out. Maria took my expectations and knocked them out of the park. Instead of this being the perfect way to not waste a day, it became our favorite memory of the whole trip! She asked what our interests were and catered the tour to meet them, dropped us off to check out hidden spots or cool moments that were about to start just as we pulled up (I swear she did this multiple times- we'd pull up and she'd say head in there, it's just about to start! and we'd get to see something amazing that wasn't in any tour books/blogs.) SHe noticed when the kids were getting bored of look at historical sites and made sure our next stop was something more active, or a place we could grab a snack, took pictures of the 4 of us- i could go on and on. Book her!!!!

Took a day trip from Paris to London, so our time was limited. I’m glad we chose this taxi tour. Our guide, David, was very accommodating. He picked us up early at St Pancras. David was very informative and fun. He takes great post card pictures! Taxi was very comfortable and clean.
