Itinerary
Your afternoon pub tour begins in the City of London. Meet your guide and set off for the first stop of your tour.
As you walk, spot major attractions such as St. Paul's Cathedral and the bustling Fleet Street. Pass the former site of a Shakespearean playhouse, then pop into the art nouveau Blackfriars for a drink. Grab a pint (own expense) and enjoy colorful stories from this neighborhood's banking community.
Next, head down Fleet Street, flush with pubs and gin palaces once frequented by the journalists and literary greats of the day. Stop at a proper London boozer to buy yourself a delicious local ale (or two), admire the authentic medieval decor, and enjoy the buzz as regulars and newcomers fill up the wooden tables surrounding the horseshoe-shaped bar.
Continue along Fleet Street, the former stomping grounds of Charles Dickens. Visit a 17th-century pub that was a favorite of Dickens and fellow writers such as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Alfred Lord Tennyson. Sip on a delicious beer or cider (not included), and soak up the literary history of the place.
Your tour ends at the edge of Covent Garden with plenty of time (and insider information) to continue the fun at another local pub.

This is a really fun tour and the pubs are so unique and interesting! The tour guide knew so many neat facts about each pub and was able to make fabulous beer recommendations at each! Highly recommend!
Great opportunity to see London proper, learn some history, while enjoying a local pint. Great guide
Mark was an excellent tour guide. Lots of interesting and fun information. We were divided into two groups so only 10 of us which made it easy for getting from pub to pub, the small group also made it easy to ask questions

Small groups, local guides and good times. Cheers to that!
Great tour! Interesting pubs and good commentary. Fun getting to know others in our group! Tim was a great tour guide!
Our guide Freddie, walked us theough the city of London exploring 4 pubs, with its own history and stories. He also shared other history and stories of the city of London as we went travelled. Despite the rain, which cleared up by our 3rd pub, we had a great time with our group, and getting to know each other! You had the choice to drink in each bar and paid what you consumed! Glad that we did this tour! Would recommend highly! Nice way to end our stay in London! Cheerio!

Ah, a bit of long-awaited 'liquid sunshine'. Cheers to that!
We had a wonderful afternoon last Friday with Chris as guide on the historical pub tour of London. Chris was friendly and gave lots of interesting historical facts on the 4 pubs we visited and on a number of sights along the way. He was attentive, super friendly to everyone. The afternoon was very relaxed and not at all rushed. Definitely recommend.
Mark was a wonderful guide. He knows his English history very well. I learned a lot. Really lovely tour.
Fantastic tour with Lyndon. He picked 4 great historic pubs and the history of the places we passed in between was great. He was very knowledgeable and well spoken. Gave great drink recommendations at each pub.
This was an incredible experience! Our guide, Tim, was so friendly, knowledgeable, and a great conversationalist. We enjoyed learning about the city and each pub we went to.

Thanks for the lovely review and sharing the stroll with us. Cheers!
Don’t pass this one up. Our group ages ranged 30-80 so it can be a fun time for all. Freddy was an entertaining and knowledgeable tour guide. I’d do this tour again.

See you for the next round! Cheers!
I loved every minute of this tour! The historic pubs were wonderful, but it was the little stories, funny anecdotes and fascinating details that made it so special. Our guide really brought London’s history to life.
A fantastic experience, full of atmosphere and great memories. I would wholeheartedly recommend it!
Lockland was our tour guide and he was great. He was very knowledgeable, entertaining and a lot of fun to be with. We went into 5 great historic pubs that were very unique.
This was such an amazing tour. This isn’t a pub crawl but rather for those looking to learn about the history of the pubs and surrounding area while being able to get a pint of some great beers along the way. Our guide Will was the best and his knowledge of the area is deep (along with some bonus music experiences!). An overall great time!
Excellent tour. Our guide, Lyndon, was spectacular. He was very knowledgeable and fun. The bars we visited were rich with history. This is a must-do tour if you like old pubs.
Well organised-met on time at the designated place and we were sent to join our tour guide Freddie. He was reallly good company, great historical facts on each of the four pubs, very entertaining & interesting! He told us how long we had to explore each pub and took the time to chat with us all. At the end of the tour he even recommended another couple of pubs for us to check out on our way back to the train station-which we did! It was a really great day out and would definitely recommend it!
An amazing afternoon. Our guide Freddie was amazingly informative and entertaining. Highly recommend the tour.
The pubs we visited were charming and our Tour guide (Mark) knowledgeable and friendly. I like that there were a few historical sites thrown in besides just pubs. The walking was spaced out well in between each location so there wasn’t too much between each one. Thank you for a great afternoon!
Guide: Linden
What an interesting tour! Linden was so much fun and full of historical tidbits! My favorite stop was next to last where I could see an original copy of A Tale of two Cities.
If you want authentic London history, great pubs and a great guide, book with Linden for this tour; you’ll not be disappointed!

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times"...as Dickens might say, but generally it's the best of times! Cheers!
10/10 tour - great pub choices and delicious drinks beer and gin primarily but everything available. Went to 4 amazing pubs - all unique and with their own history. Enjoyed cocktails at each. Short walk between venues. Most important is the guide -FREDDY! He was terrific! Our group was mix of ages and he interacted with all making us feel like he was part of the family. Highly recommend tour and FREDDY! Cheers!

Fabulous review for a great stroll. Cheers!
A good variety of history within the different pubs visited on the tour. Plenty of knowledge by the guide.
Incredibly fun and informative tour provided by ADAM!! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed his energy throughout the afternoon! I cannot recommend this tour enough! It was the best way to end our week in London! Tons of walking and seeing historical pubs and places that we never would’ve found on our own!
Great historical information about the pubs but ironically more and even better historical information about everything around them! Highly recommended!
We thought we were just doing a casual tour showing us cool pubs, built it was SO much more. The stories made the old pubs come alive. Lachlan was a Sensational host, one of the best on any tour we've ever done. Don't hesitate to book this. We loved it
Great tour, fun and very interesting! Shadow is a fabulous guide and is quite an expert about London’s pubs. She was a lot of fun and made it a great experience for all! Highly recommend!
The guide Lenny was prompt and very knowledgeable. The tour was popular so they split the group into two groups of ten.Lenny provided much information of the history and site we saw along the way to the 4 pubs we visited as well as much information about each pub. It was worth have knowledge and experience of the tour guide other wise it would have been just a beer in the pub.
Kevin was fantastic. The tour was equal parts fun and informative. At no point did the tour feel boring. I’m going to tell anyone I can get ahold o
Kevin was such a delight! I highly recommend this tour to show you bits of London you’d likely not find and hear the history behind it. Was a much-needed break from the hectic crowds in Westminster. So happy we did this on day 1. Will definitely do it again!
It’s a good tour, our guide Mark was very knowledgeable. The tour was long with a lot of standing & walking. We hit 4 pubs which were great & we would have never found on our own. There was time to grab some food if you are hungry.

Great to hear that you enjoyed the time with Mark and the pubs. Apologies for not hitting our usual 5* standards on this occasion. Cheers!
It’s a fun experience! We got to visit 4 pubs with a fun and friendly tour guide who gave us info about the pubs and other interesting bits of knowledge on the way to each pub! Our tour guide Kevin was great!
Excellent knowledge base of London history especially pubs and spirits, with a humorous guide who was wonderful to be with.
