We didn’t have ideal seats and spent most of the time looking up at the bus roof, but it was still enjoyable. The lights go by quickly, so you can’t really stop to take pictures. If you can, I’d recommend walking down Regent and Oxford Street to appreciate the lights properly.

Such a great way to see London and all the lights. We had only gotten off a plane a few hours before and found it to be a great introduction for our visit. We actually loved the whole experience so much that my husband even considered booking again to do it a few days later! The tour guide was amazing, it’s a shame I can’t remember his name because he had so much information on all the buildings we passed and even the story behind how shops came to start going some of the big displays they do.

We loved our London Christmas lights tour! It was freezing cold on the top level, but it was worth it! We loved seeing the lights and sights of London without being on the ground in the large crowds! We learned a lot, our tour guide was amazing!

Great fun! Your was exactly as described. Additionally, since traffic was light our guides swung by Big Ben!! Our tour guide was exceptional…personable, just the right amount of talk, interesting and pertinent facts, with some levity thrown in as well.

My wife and I booked this tour to see the Christmas lights but also gain some education about the building and history of the city. We’ve been to London almost 10 times but mainly follow our own tours. We were not disappointed! We learned quite a bit about the history, LOVED the lights and appreciated that Emma was able to wave some personal stories into her narrative. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone and will book if we’re back in London for the festive period in the future.

This was a great tour to do of the city on the first couple of days upon arriving. Getting to see a lay of the land and the beautiful Christmas time lights was lovely. I would 100% recommend getting there well before the 15-minute suggestion on the instructions. The earlier you are the more likely you are to pick your preferred seating, as it first comes first serve and you are not necessarily guaranteed a spot on the top/open part of the double bus to see all the lights. I would also suggest booking the tour during a time where there is not rush hour, or don't book anything after this tour because the bus travels to the busiest parts of the city and, dependent on traffic, you could run well beyond the 90 minutes stated on the ticket. Our driver Kyle and tour announcer Ethan were great too, they did a great job!

This was an easy and stress free way to see the holiday lights in London. However, the audio tour portion was not very robust. In general, I'm not sure it was worth the cost. It depends on what you're looking for.

There was nothing wrong with the tour…just average. There was a lot of traffic the night we took the tour. I did enjoy learning about the history as well as hot spots along the tour.

First of all, the address for the meet up was not in Apple maps. The only reason I knew somewhat where to go was because we know London well enough and I had to email Viator to confirm. If you dont know the city you may find it hard to even find where they are located. Once we boarded, (we were early to get decent seats), I noticed we didnt leave until 15 minutes later because people kept joining. It was is if they were selling last minute tickets to fill every seat, (which we saw people pay last minute). The bus was full, (on top at least, every seat), but we also left late. THEN, we got about 10 feet, waited another 5 minutes only to be told our bus was being taken out of service so we would need to board a different bus. By the time we de boarded, re boarded and left we were 30 minutes delayed. OH, and the effort on our part to be early and get good seats were a waste because once we had to re-boarded all good seats were taken. I noticed another man was complaining on the new bus about wanting his old seats but too late, others had already taken them. The tour guide was amazing!! Very funny and great. I would myself recommend since it was a Christmas lights tour to have Christmas music playing when he wasn’t talking. The last 1/4 of the tour mostly did not have Christmas lights but was back roads. Be prepared to be slow, the traffic is heavy in London between Christmas and New Year’s, not the buses fault. Dress warm in December/January, our tour was supposed to be starting at 6:30pm and it was already really cold. Finally, it was slated as a 1.5 hour, (confirmation said 1:45 minutes), but it was just 1 hour for us.

The meeting point that they put in this app was not where the bus was staying. We called to the customer support and the guy there told us different post code where the meeting point was. He said to us to come one hour later. We came later and no bus there. I called them again and the guy said that they don’t collect people at that point at that time and they can offer me another time 1 hour and half later. We were already waiting 1 hour and to wait outside more was not something I wanted to do with a child. I booked the tour in advance, checked everything, came earlier on the meeting point that was announced in the app and still couldn’t have my experience. I am very disappointed and will leave bad reviews on every website.
Don’t trust this company, neither their customer service as they are unprofessional and don’t care about people.

Though it was cold and windy it might have been bearable if the tour included more than just comments from guide to look at lights maybe include architectural references in the future. It was just too basic also the windows on bus were quite dirty difficult to see we ended up not completing the tour.

We had a fantastic time on the London night bus tour of the Christmas lights. It was a relaxing and enjoyable way to experience the city after dark. The traffic was light, which made the ride smooth and gave us uninterrupted views of so many of London’s most famous sights.
The Christmas lights were absolutely beautiful — from the grand displays along Regent Street and Oxford Street to the festive glow around Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, and other iconic areas. Seeing these landmarks illuminated at night really makes the city feel special and festive.
It’s a perfect option if you want to take in a lot of London in a short amount of time without the crowds, and it’s also a great way to rest your feet after a full day of walking. Highly recommended for anyone visiting London during the holidays.
