What are people saying about France

Behind the scenes: Paris Boulangerie
Arthur, our guide from the boulangerie, was a most engaging young baker. He explained everything very well and interacted with each one of us. I happened to be in a group of other attendees who were especially friendly and fun to be with. We learned the technique to make a baguette, croissant, and a small breakfast treat. We were able to see all of the machinery now used in order to be able to produce 1000 baguettes a day for just this one bakery! Arthur was very well informed and shared some history and lore about the business. I would highly recommend this experience.

A highlight of our trip
What a fun experience. Definitely a highlight of our trip. Took the class with my husband and daughter. The class was small and personalized. We learned to make the BEST croissant I had while in Paris! She shared her expertise and had fun with our group. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Very interactive and...
Very interactive and engaging! Ann made the class a great time and catered to the group whether you were an avid baker or first timer. We loved the small group size and intimate setting. After the class, we all got to sit down and enjoy our creations over coffee and tea. We took home over 50 macaroons!

Phenomenal Macaron Class
We always try to book a cooking/baking class whenever we visit another country. This small-group macaron class was exceptional! Leslie guided us expertly through the process. Although some of the steps were done for us (for the sake of time and precision, I'm sure), it didn't diminish the experience at all. We had all the right tools, lots of options for colors and flavors, and a perfect amount of humor mixed in to make this a lot of fun. On top of everything, the finished product (about 30 macarons EACH!) was beautiful and delicious. In fact, I absolutely believe (not being hyperbolic!) that our macarons were superior to several we bought from local shops! The recipe they shared with us looks daunting (11 pages!), but includes all the fine details to attempt another batch on our own. This one is a MUST-DO on your list of Paris activities. There's no way you'll be disappointed.

Oui, I created a 16-layer croissant and loved every minute!
Absolutely amazing! Our chef was incredibly talented, a wonderful teacher, patient and helped us all create the most amazing pastries we could. On-site proofer? Oui. 16-layer croissants? Yes. Best tasting pastries ever had? Oui oui!! We had fun and learned so much. Our wonderful host chef even had a myriad of beverages for us to enjoy along with our magnifique creations. I highly recommend!

This was absolutely...
This was absolutely perfect! Amazing communication, preparation, and organization throughout. Clementine taught our class and we would absolutely take another with her again! My 6 year old daughter had so much fun! Our macarons were super tasty and loved how many options we were given, as far as colors and filling (we picked pink and purple with a tinge of blue, with Biscoff being her top preferred flavor but I also enjoyed strawberry and white chocolate). It was super easy for my kid to follow along and she loves the certificate they give at the end along with a recipe. Highly, highly recommend this must do experience!

We will be back!
My husband and I had an amazing time with our instructor, Paolo. The market visit was a lovely educational experience learning the differences in our fish selections and sourcing, cheese selections and pairings, etc. The actual cooking class was amazing as well. We worked together as a class on all of the components of our different courses so we each had a hand in every part of the dishes. The food was amazing, the wine was flowing, and the company was phenomenal with like-minded travelers experiencing French cuisine and cooking. This would be good for any travelers from teens and up, we did not have any children in our group and I am not sure how suited it would be for them. Nonetheless, we will definitely be returning for another class on our next trip.

Lovely time at the bakery
Had a great time with mum at the bakery. David was a great instructor and helped us make lovely financiers and baguettes that we later had at home.
We forgot to take a photo of the financiers recipe, is it possible to get it somehow? We came back from Paris with baking trays just for that.

Best meal we had in France even with 2 other foods tours
Yes it's a family home, but stunning views you won't get anywhere else. It was so much fun and the good was great. I cook regularly but learned a few tricks. I plan to do this again. The home was clean, and the family inviting.
Transportation to the home was tricky. We all managed to get Lyfts but it would be smart to schedule them ahead of time. My daughter and I tried to really up. It is very steep I would recommend getting other transportation. However, as they say a steel climb leads to amazing views. This one led to unbelievable views and great food!!!!

Luc was absolutely...
Luc was absolutely amazing! He took us to a charming local market to gather all the ingredients for the day, and we also stopped by a delightful cheese shop where we learned about the history of different cheeses. Luc made the entire process of preparing a three course meal feel fun, easy, and seamless. It was such a memorable experience to share with my daughter. We will definitely do this again on our next trip to Paris!

This experience was exactly what we were hoping for! Learning to make cheese and butter in Paris! We can’t wait to make both again at home. Lola was a great teacher! She made class so fun! The different cheese tastings with wine/juice were an added plus!! Thank you!!

Lovely French Cooking Lesson
It was a cozy little group. Chef Dominque shares interesting insights in French food. Love picking out what we eat for lunch and trying something new. I never knew how tasty celery rooted could be. His cooking tips are also easy to follow. Definitely will try it back home.
Companies were great too!!! Had blast with our cooking partners John, Ellie,Bernie and Barbara. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Paris and enjoying cooking.
