Me and my daughter’s favorite thing we did in Paris. It was the perfect activity to do during the day especially during the heat wave. Classes were very personal and light. Our instructor became my daughter’s favorite person in France. Would highly recommend to anyone. Myself (36) and my daughter (11) would absolutely do this again at the same place and make something new next time.

We took the macaron class...

Emma_S, Sep 2026
We took the macaron class with Julie, 10/10 experience. Very intimate group as it was 4 of us, plus the instructor. Loved the 1-on-1 and the detailed attention we all received. A very good recipe for macarons and was one of my mom’s and I’s favorite experiences on our trip!

Response from Host, Sep 2026

Dear Emma, Thank you for this. Julie will be delighted to read it, and a table of four is exactly the size we hope for, because it lets a chef stand beside each person rather than in front of a room. That you place the morning among the favourite moments of a trip to Paris, and that you shared it with your mother, is the nicest thing a baking school can be told. The recipe is yours now. Do make it again at home and tell us how the shells behave in your own oven. Warmly, Matthieu

Passion Fruit

Stephanie_M, Sep 2026
A very personal hands-on small group baking experience. Excellent pastry chef easy to follow directions I learned so much and the macaroons were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in baking French macaroons.

Response from Host, Sep 2026

Dear Stephanie, Thank you, and your title made me smile. Passion fruit divides a room more than any other flavour we make, and it is almost always the one people ask about again on the way out. Small and hands on is a choice rather than a limitation. A macaron gives everything away in the folding, and that has to be watched person by person, which is impossible in a large room. I am glad the directions were easy to follow. They get rewritten often, precisely so that they can be. Thank you for the recommendation, and for a lovely morning. Warmly, Matthieu

A wonderful experience!...

Suzzane_C, Sep 2026
A wonderful experience! So fun! Our pastry chef was so personable, knowledgeable, and helpful! She interacted with us the whole time and gave lots of information! The macarons were absolutely delicious!

Response from Host, Sep 2026

Dear Suzzane, Thank you for this. What you describe, a chef who stays with you the whole way through rather than demonstrating once and stepping back, is the part of the class we are most careful about. It is also the reason the groups stay small, and the reason a session costs us more to run than it might otherwise. I am delighted the macarons were worth it. They are unforgiving little things, and getting them right on a first attempt is a genuine achievement. Warmly, Matthieu

A must do baking class

Patty_G, Sep 2026
This was one of the best baking classes that our group has taken. Our instructor was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful with some non bakers in the group. Our macarons turned out perfect.

Response from Host, Sep 2026

Dear Patty, Thank you, and thank you in particular for mentioning the non bakers in your group. That is the harder half of the job. Keeping an experienced pair of hands interested while making sure someone who has never piped anything in their life does not feel lost takes real attention, and I am glad your chef held both ends of that. Perfect macarons across a whole group is not a small result. Congratulations to all of you, and thank you for placing us so high among the classes you have taken. Warmly, Matthieu

We learned how to make...

Jensen_C, Aug 2026
We learned how to make macaroons and it was amazing! Julian the chef was amazing and the class was a wonderful experience!

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Jensen, What a pleasure to read this. Macarons are famously temperamental, and Julian has a real gift for making them feel achievable. I will pass your kind words on to him, they will make his day. Thank you for spending part of your time in Paris with us, and for trusting us with a pastry that even Parisians find intimidating. Do let us know how your first batch at home turns out. Warmly, Matthieu

Great Macaron Cooking Experience

JOHN_C, Aug 2026
Learned some great tips for making Macarons. Chef was very energetic, patient and helpful. He even recommended a great place for dinner that evening.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear John, Thank you for taking the time to share this. Macarons reward patience more than talent, so it is always a joy when someone leaves with the tips that actually make the difference at home rather than just a pleasant memory. As for the dinner recommendation, our chefs are quietly proud of their addresses around the school, and they love nothing more than sending guests to the right table. We hope the meal lived up to the class. Warmly, Matthieu

Fun macaron baking class!

Lily_W, Aug 2026
Our macaron baking class was amazing! So fun and a perfect family activity. Our group ranged from 11 years old to 80 years old! Our instructor Julie was a great teacher, so patient and friendly. She also gave us recommendations of local eateries and bakeries. We would highly recommend this class!

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Lily, A group spanning eleven to eighty years old is our favourite kind of class, and it is a real pleasure to know everyone found their place at the table. Macarons have a way of levelling the room, which is part of their charm. Julie will be delighted to read this, and we are glad she pointed you towards a few good addresses in the neighbourhood as well. Thank you for choosing to spend that family moment with us. Warmly, Matthieu

Macaron making class

Julie_J, Aug 2026
This experience was so fun! We loved learning to make macarons as a family! They turned out absolutely delicious!!

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Julie, Thank you for these cheerful words. Macarons made as a family are always the best kind, everyone ends up with a slightly different shell and nobody minds in the least. That yours turned out delicious is a credit to your patience with the meringue. We loved having you all with us, and we hope you will try the recipe again at home. Warmly, Matthieu

Phenomenal Macaron Class

Jeffrey_a, Jul 2026
We always try to book a cooking/baking class whenever we visit another country. This small-group macaron class was exceptional! Leslie guided us expertly through the process. Although some of the steps were done for us (for the sake of time and precision, I'm sure), it didn't diminish the experience at all. We had all the right tools, lots of options for colors and flavors, and a perfect amount of humor mixed in to make this a lot of fun. On top of everything, the finished product (about 30 macarons EACH!) was beautiful and delicious. In fact, I absolutely believe (not being hyperbolic!) that our macarons were superior to several we bought from local shops! The recipe they shared with us looks daunting (11 pages!), but includes all the fine details to attempt another batch on our own. This one is a MUST-DO on your list of Paris activities. There's no way you'll be disappointed.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Jeffrey, What a thoughtful review, thank you. Coming from someone who makes a habit of taking a class in every country, that is high praise indeed, and Leslie will be very touched. You are right that a few steps are prepared in advance. Macarons are ruthless about timing and temperature, and we would rather give you the parts where your hands genuinely change the result than have you watching a mixer for forty minutes. As for the eleven page recipe, it is long precisely so that nothing is left to guesswork once you are on your own. Thirty macarons each, and better than the shops. We could not ask for a nicer verdict. Thank you for choosing us in Paris. Warmly, Matthieu

It was okay. Small rooms...

Erika_B, Jul 2026
It was okay. Small rooms and very controlled so you don’t mess it up. Fun to pick colors and flavors.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Erika, Thank you for your honesty, it is useful to us. You have put your finger on a real tension in our macaron class. Macarons are unforgiving, and over the years we have tightened the process so that everyone leaves with shells that actually work. That protects the result, but I take your point that it can make the session feel more guided than exploratory, and that is worth rethinking. Our kitchens are small by design, since we would rather teach eight people properly than thirty at a distance, though I understand that is not to everyone's taste. I am glad the colours and flavours gave you a free hand, that part is genuinely yours. Thank you for coming, and for telling us plainly what you thought. Warmly, Matthieu

No matter your cooking...

Leslie_B, Jul 2026
No matter your cooking experience, this class was very well taught and we all learned something new.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Leslie, Thank you for putting it so well. Our classes are built to work whether someone bakes every weekend or has never weighed an egg white, and hearing that everyone in your group took something away is exactly what we hope for. Thank you for spending part of your time in Paris with us. We would be delighted to teach you something new again. Warmly, Matthieu

This is a fun,...

Emma_M, Jul 2026
This is a fun, informative session. We got lots of tips on how to make the perfect macaron. Our patisserie chef was so helpful had a great sense of humour. I would highly recommend the experience.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Emma, Thank you for this generous review. The perfect macaron is mostly a matter of small details, so we are glad our chef sent you home with plenty of them, and with a few laughs along the way. Humour matters more than people expect in a pastry kitchen, particularly when the meringue is not cooperating. We will pass your words on. Thank you for recommending us. Warmly, Matthieu

Fun for the Family

Sara_F, Jul 2026
It was a fun class and we enjoyed learning that making macarons is not too difficult. Our Teacher was very friendly, helpful and fun to be with.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Sara, Thank you for this lovely note. Macarons have a fearsome reputation, and one of our quiet satisfactions is watching a family discover that the technique is entirely within reach once someone shows you the right gestures. Your teacher will be delighted by your words. Thank you for spending the morning with us, and we hope you have kept baking together since. Warmly, Matthieu

A must do, so much fun!

Ashish_S, Jul 2026
Absolutely fun and a must do. Our chef (Lancelot) was fantastic with the kids. Macaroons tasted amazing. Whole family has a blast

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Ashish, Thank you for this. Lancelot is remarkably good with children, he manages to keep them busy and slightly in awe at the same time, and he will be very pleased to read your words. A whole family having a blast around a tray of macarons is exactly the morning we hope to give people. Thank you for choosing us in Paris. Warmly, Matthieu

Fun & Macarons

Mary_K, Jul 2026
The whole experience was fabulous. The instructor was so engaging. The class was educational & entertaining. We would take the class again. Lorenzo did a fabulous job of explaining the steps, and modeling what needed to be done. It was the perfect way to start a day in Paris.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Mary, Thank you for this warm review. Lorenzo has a real talent for showing rather than telling, which with macarons makes all the difference, and he will be very glad to read your words. Starting a Paris day with a tray of macarons strikes us as an excellent decision. We would be delighted to have you back in the class whenever you return. Warmly, Matthieu

Best class in town. A must

Teresa_H, Jul 2026
It was a wonderful and yummy experience. Had my 12 year old granddaughter with and she loved it. Very organized and easy instructions. Our instructor was amazing

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Teresa, Thank you for this generous review. Twelve is a wonderful age for macarons, old enough to master the piping and young enough to be genuinely delighted when the shells rise, and we are so glad your granddaughter loved it. Clear instructions and a well ordered kitchen are things we work hard at, so thank you for noticing. Your instructor will be very pleased. Warmly, Matthieu

Maison Fleuret Baking Class, Oui!!!!

Melanie_A, Jul 2026
This was a fabulous experience. The baker was friendly, efficient and helpful. My daughter and I did the class together and it was a highlight of our trip to Paris. The macarons were so yummy! Would do this again and based on this experience, I would take more cooking classes in the future…

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Melanie, Oui, and thank you. To be the highlight of a trip to Paris, in a city with rather stiff competition, is a compliment we do not take lightly. We are delighted the class gave you and your daughter a good moment together, and even more so if it has given you an appetite for cooking classes in general. That is how a lifelong habit starts. Thank you for baking with us. Warmly, Matthieu

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear David, Thank you for this, it made us smile. A cool kitchen during a heat wave is one of the unadvertised advantages of a baking class, and we are glad it turned out to be the right choice of day. Becoming an eleven year old's favourite person in France is no small achievement, and we will make sure the instructor hears about it. Come back and we will teach you both something new. Warmly, Matthieu

We made macarons and so can you!

Janey_M, Jul 2026
My 20 year old daughter loves to bake. I signed us up for this class after reading great reviews. The class is 2 hours long and you simply show up at the address. Rosalie was our pastry chef and she was a phenomenal instructor. She explained the instructions and demonstrated for the class. She would walk around and check everybody's work. This lead to all of us successfully baking macarons! Rosalie is patient amd delivered instructions so thoroughly. There were only 5 people in our class. After baking our macarons, Rosalie showed us some inspiration that she saved photos of. Everyone in the class created their own designs amd we all swapped colors to get creative. This was so fun! At the end of the class, my daughter and I each left with over 29 macarons. I chose vanilla flavor, she chose lemon. She gave us a box and we were able to choose a sticker. We can make macarons amd so can you! I highly recommend this class! My daughter said it was one of her most favorite activities in Paris! Merci mille foisted Rosalie!

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Janey, What a wonderfully complete review, thank you. Rosalie will be so touched, and merci mille fois to you in return. You have captured what we try to build into every session: a small group, a chef who circulates constantly rather than performing at the front, and enough freedom at the decorating stage that everyone leaves with something that is recognisably theirs. Swapping colours around the table is our favourite part too. Twenty nine macarons each, vanilla and lemon, and a daughter who counts it among her favourite things in Paris. We could not have hoped for better. Thank you both. Warmly, Matthieu

Worth it!

Meredith_B, Jul 2026
Very fun and informative! I’m an avid baker, who has attempted macarons many times. I believe this gave me what I needed to be successful at home!

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Meredith, Thank you for this. Coming from someone who has already wrestled with macarons at home, it means a great deal, and it is exactly the outcome we hope for: not a pleasant morning, but the missing pieces that make the next batch work. Macarons reward precision more than talent, and you clearly have the persistence. Do let us know how they turn out in your own kitchen. Warmly, Matthieu

Wrong address sent by Viator

Vivianne_M, Jun 2026
The Viator platform completely dropped the ball on this booking and sent me and my daughter to the wrong address. Had to call an Uber at the last minute to drive us across Paris to the right address, and missed a big part of the activity. This caused us immense stress, extra fees and ruined the experience.

Great experience

Joyce_J, Jun 2026
A great experience. Not as complicated as expected as Nickolas explained each step in detail. One of the best things we did while in Paris. The studio was very clean. Nickolas was very friendly. Showed amazing patience as we had 3 children under age 10 in our class.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Joyce, Thank you for this generous review. Three children under ten in a macaron class is a genuine test, and Nickolas passed it with flying colours by the sound of it. He will be delighted. Macarons look far more intimidating than they are once each step is broken down, and we are glad the class proved it. Thank you also for the kind word about the studio, we are strict about that. Thank you for spending part of your Paris trip with us. Warmly, Matthieu

Macaroons?YES YES Yes!!

Stephanie_S, Jun 2026
So much fun and there were two classmates the same age as my granddaughter s Which made it more fun for her!

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Stephanie, Thank you for this cheerful review. That is one of the happy accidents of a small group: sometimes the room assembles itself perfectly, and children of the same age find each other over a piping bag. We are delighted your granddaughter had such a good time. Thank you for bringing her to us. Warmly, Matthieu

Plenty to take and share!

Melissa_B, Jun 2026
Alice was terrific! Take the class in the beginning of your trip and save money buying other macarons! You will have about a dozen to take away to share or enjoy!

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Melissa, Thank you for this, and for the genuinely practical advice. Taking the class early in a trip is exactly what we would recommend too, both for the box you carry away and for the eye it gives you when you walk past a pastry shop afterwards. Alice will be delighted by your kind words. Thank you for baking with us in Paris. Warmly, Matthieu

Not a fun experience

Liana_B, Jun 2026
We were really looking forward to a fun, engaging baking experience. Unfortunately, what we got was the opposite. The instructor was unfriendly, unpleasant, and brought very little energy or enthusiasm to the session. The class felt flat and unengaging — our kids were bored, and our friend, who is an avid home baker, left feeling uninspired and unmotivated to ever attempt macarons at home. That really says it all. We wanted to leave with happy memories, great photos, and a story to tell when we got home. Instead, we left wishing we had spent our time differently. I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share this so others can make an informed decision. This class was a significant miss!

Not worth the effort

Sweta_G, Jun 2026
The filling ganache was flowing all over. The macroons were hard - it was very unfriendly and rude experience. It was not a personalized experience it was like let's get through and move to next

Delicious small macaroons to take home!

Barbara_B, Jun 2026
This fun class will teach you how to make your own amazingly good small macaroons. They are better than ones I later bought in Paris. Hint: only buy small macaroons; the large ones are very disappointing after taking this class. You will go home with a box of delicious macaroons to enjoy during your time in Paris. The recipe is provided so you can reproduce the macaroons at home to amaze your family. Or hold a macaroon making party and amaze your friends!

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Barbara, What a delightful review, thank you. Your point about size is well made: a small macaron has the right ratio of shell to ganache, which is precisely why we teach them that way. We are glad you took the recipe home, and the idea of a macaron making party has our full approval. Thank you for baking with us in Paris, and good luck amazing everyone. Warmly, Matthieu

Macaron baking class

Lindsey_R, Jun 2026
This was a perfect activity in between all the museum tours! Rosalie was our pastry chef and had patience and knowledge. She made this hands-on baking class so much fun. The macarons were delicious!

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Lindsey, Thank you for this. A baking class between two museums is a very sensible way to structure a day in Paris: something to do with your hands after a morning of looking. Rosalie combines patience with real knowledge, and she will be glad to read your words. We are delighted the macarons were worth the detour. Warmly, Matthieu

Macaroons Anyone

MaryJane_D, Jun 2026
Connie was a highly fun, engaging and knowledgeable. Our group of 6, consisting of teens, pre teen, adult and senior, was well-catered to, regardless of age. Her expertise ensured that we did not miss out on any of instructions and received an we all email of recipe. As a grandparent traveling with my granddaughter in Paris who needs constant activities. I would highly recommend Connie as your instructor for the Macaroon baking class. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Mary Jane, Thank you for this thoughtful review. A group spanning teenagers, a pre teen, adults and a grandparent is exactly the sort of room that separates a good instructor from an ordinary one, and Connie clearly rose to it. She will be delighted. Sending the recipe afterwards matters more than people expect, since the memory of a technique fades faster than the taste. We are so glad the class earned its place in your granddaughter's Paris itinerary. Thank you for choosing us. Warmly, Matthieu

Extraordinary!

Sally_R, Jun 2026
I did this baking class for my 17 year old daughter. It was great. Our patissiere was Clara and she was a great teacher. I'm excited to try my luck at home now!

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Sally, Thank you for this. Arranging the class for your daughter was a lovely idea, and seventeen is a fine age to discover that macarons are within reach after all. Clara will be delighted to read your words. Do try them together at home while the technique is fresh, and be forgiving of the first tray. Thank you for choosing us. Warmly, Matthieu
