My daughter and I took this class and it was an absolute highlight of our trip. Our instructor Florence was so kind, loving, funning and highly skilled in the kitchen. It was a fun group of women, our class consisted of 3 other mother daughter duos. If you find yourself in Paris with an extra 3 hours I highly recommended this class. It was fun and delicious!! We got to take home so many Macarons we could not eat them all.

I love to bake and spending the afternoon with Stephan at the macaron baking class was wonderful. Stephan went through the steps and it was fun to be with others learning the process. Our adult kids also enjoyed the experience. Thanks Viator for another great travel activity!

Stephan was an intriguing, energized, and fabulous teacher. This is a hands on experience and it was truly wonderful. The thought of making macaroons was certainly intimidating, but the effective and entertaining instruction removed any hesitation! A true 10 star experience on a 5 point scale. Amazing! Next time you are in Paris find the time to bake something with Le Foodist - particularly Stephan if he is available. We are so grateful for such an awesome time.

Amazing experience we had such a great time. Chef Luc was excellent and explained everything perfectly and let us have a ton of fun and autonomy with our baking, while never making us feel lost. Also he went above and beyond with his enthusiasm and guidance.

November 9,2025 I attended a French macaron baking class at Le Foodist. Stephane was the instructor and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. I learned new techniques to help make fail safe macarons which I am very excited to try once I return home.
The class consisted of 6 participants. We got paired up and then we each made a different flavour of macaron. Stephane was great at showing us each step along the way and sharing many tips and tricks. At the end of the bake we went upstairs to the dining room for a tasting of all the flavours with some tea and coffee. We were all able to take some of the 3 flavours of macarons home with us too. It was an excellent experience that I remember for a long time.

Such a fantastic experience!!! Chef stéphane was so knowledgeable, patient, and created such a fun environment for making macarons!! At the end he also offered food recommendations for throughout the city and assisted with making reservations. I could not have asked for a better experience and cannot wait to use the recipe to make macarons at home!

A unique experience that I’d highly recommend for anyone that enjoys baking. I did this experience with my daughter and we had a great time. We were only a small group (four people) and we got a very personalised touch. A big thanks to our wonderful chef!

I had an incredibly unique and memorable experience doing the macaron baking class at Le Foodist in Paris.
Chef Stéphane, a Michelin star pastry chef, was very patient and detailed in his instruction, and made the class a fun and educational experience for everyone. As it was a very small class size, he was able to help us individually with each of the steps. During downtime while waiting for things to mix and bake, he told us about his history working in the restaurant industry and about life and food in France, which was fascinating to learn about.
After we had finished baking and assembling our macarons, we had a nice tasting with coffee and tea, and we received a copy of the recipes we had made as well as a couple of extras to try at home.
At the end, chef Stéphane learned that we were interested in trying certain foods in Paris, and so he made some recommendations on shops to visit and a restaurant that he knew in town, and even called them for me and the other two people in the class to get a reservation later that night! I had an amazing time at Le Foodist, and it was easily one of the most memorable parts of my trip to Paris. Highly recommended to anyone interested in cooking or baking.

What an awesome experience! I booked this class for my son, my mom and myself during our stay in Paris in March 2025. Our instructor was so fantastic and made the class incredibly easy to follow, not to mention tasty results! We had more than enough macarons to take back with us! An added bonus: we got restaurant recommendations! As travelers who prioritize intimate experiences, this was a wonderful addition to our excursion. I’ve recommended it to everyone who plans to visit Paris since!!

The chef had excellent training and experience as a chef. He was also a phenomenal teacher. The students, felt well taken care of, had fun, and learned how to cook macrons. The kitchen is lovely and the location is easy to get to. The administrator/scheduler is attentive and personable. Wonderful group and wonderful class.

What a wonderful way to spend three hours in Paris! We booked the activity not knowing that our instructor, Stephane, is such an accomplished pastry chef globally. Stephane made the class not only informative but also a lot of fun, too. And he was generous with his recommendations for dining options and culinary retail locations across Paris. Excellent, informative and fun instructors. My teenage children and I had an equally fantastic time. Not sure we’ll ever try making macarons at home but a really cool and different experience in Paris. Groups only had 8 people and everyone worked in pairs so lots of individual attention.

This was a lot of fun. Chef Stephane was very good, quite an involved process. Easy to get too off of metro.they were tasty in end but very sweet. Did not survive the trip home in flimsy box… would recommend putting in carryon.

As far as the flimsy box is concerned, I think should not comment - but if you thought it was flimsy, maybe indeed it would have been better to either eat your macarons, or not check them with your luggage which is handled so badly in airports?
