Great experience! The crew took great care of us, super helpful to anything we needed. We booked four hours and it didn’t seem to short or long it was perfect. They had a bathroom for us, waters, pool noodles, lily pad, volleyball, and a football for the kids to play with. If you are hungry they also can call venders over for you to the boat for food. The boat was very spacious as well. Very family friendly. 10/10. We will book again next year.

We booked a 3-hour Crab Island boat tour, and it was an absolute highlight of our trip! Our captain, Justin, and crew member, Katie, were phenomenal—incredibly helpful, attentive, and highly informative throughout the entire excursion. The boat was perfectly equipped with top-notch amenities, including life vests for both adults and children, great floats, paddleboards, and excellent snorkel gear. Pro-tip for anyone booking: timing is everything! We booked the 8:30 AM morning slot to align with high tide, and the sunny weather combined with the high tide meant the water was completely crystal clear—absolutely perfect for snorkeling. By 10:00 AM, as the tide turned, the murky bay water began to take over, which makes a massive difference in the overall look and experience. Overall, it was an amazing family experience, and we will absolutely be back again!

Captain John was absolutely amazing! He met us right in front of the restaurant on the dock, making it incredibly easy to find him. On the ride to and from Crab Island, he shared fun facts about Destin and even made sure we had the chance to see dolphins, which was such a special bonus! We booked the 3-hour trip, and it was the perfect amount of time for our family, especially with an infant. We never felt rushed, but it was just the right length for everyone to enjoy themselves. He found the perfect spot to anchor the boat, making us feel comfortable and safe the entire time. We were traveling with young children, and after watching videos and reading reviews beforehand, I wasn’t sure if Crab Island would be family-friendly. Thanks to Captain John’s experience and choice of location, we had an incredible, stress-free day. Captain John went above and beyond to make the trip special for our kids. He kept an eye out for crabs so they could catch some, and that ended up being one of their favorite parts of the day. Seeing how excited they were made the experience even more memorable. He provided floating devices, snorkeling gear, and everything listed in the description. We brought our own ice chest, but he also had one available for guests who needed it. He even let us know he could call the food boats over to us, so we didn’t have to swim or walk to grab lunch or snacks. One of the things we appreciated most was that Captain John took photos for us throughout the trip. It allowed us to be fully present and enjoy our time together while still leaving with wonderful family memories to look back on. This was easily one of the highlights of our Destin vacation. We’ll definitely be booking with Captain John every time we visit, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and family-friendly day at Crab Island!
