Top Destin On the Water

Wonderful captain- we had a great 4 hours on the boat! Crab Island was fun to hang out and play in the water with our family. Captain was very friendly and seemed to really enjoy his time working. He was very laid back and up for whatever we wanted to do. I’d highly recommend going this route vs renting a boat on your own. We had no stress- the captain handled everything for us- games, balls, floats, chairs, cooler with ice, music.

We picked the perfect day to go out on the water.. went at high tide. The pontoon boat was clean and the person who set us up was very informative on everything. Only issue was, the radio didn’t work. It would have been nice to have some music while we were on the water. I would recommend this company though for sure, especially for the price. We went to crab island first and then rode and saw lots of dolphins.. then went to a sandbar and found some pretty shells and headed back. Hoping to come back again next summer or sooner.

This was my first time driving a jet-ski. To participate, you must complete a FL boating safety test to receive a temporary license. I failed it the first time, so I did the study test before retesting. It took me about an hour to complete before I retested. This process was a little off-putting, but I understand the importance and legality of knowing basic water safety before operating someone else's equipment. It was a big relief to pass and get on the water. The guide leads the way, and we followed behind on our own jetskis. He took us around several different areas and gave brief information about certain areas. The ride was very fast-paced, and I lagged behind a lot, but the guide was patient with me, being that it was my first time and I wasn't as fast as the other participants. There is definitely a learning curve, but it's worth it! We had about 45 minutes to explore Shell Island, and I used some of that time to solo drive and practice on my jetski. When it was time to ride back, I was better at keeping up with the group. Overall, it was a fun experience!

I wasn’t sure what to expect. I booked for the day before in error, Viator was able to contact the vendor and correct for then. The captain was amazing and when we arrived at Crab Island I was like OmG, this is going to be so much fun. It was a great experience and well with the money and more. I was solo and thinking this would be a fun time for a girls and family and as well.

It was really enjoyable. We did start out almost 20 minutes late, but that was absolutely understandable and fine. The crew was helpful and hilarious. I believe everyone on board had a fabulous time. There is a gate that blocks off the entrance to the docks that doesn’t open until the catamaran is ready to receive passengers. The check in station before the docks was supposed to be staffed 30 minutes before your cruise time, but no one was there. If this happens, simply walk down the docks to where the iron gate is and security will direct you where and when to go. We saw two dolphins and a breathtaking sunset. I have to say all in all it was a fun experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone just for the sunset alone. A few important things to note: 1. There is a small gap between the boat and the dock. But someone is available to help assist you across. 2. Check-in is 30 minutes prior to your cruise, but you may have a wait before you’re actually checked in and boarded — depending if the last cruise went over or they needed to gas up. 3. There are two bathrooms on board. But no other facilities such as a bar or drink station so be prepared to bring your own snacks and drinks. 4. Bring sunglasses! It’s quite bright with the sun just starting to set. Also, ladies, you’ll want your hair up to keep the wind from blocking your view with your hair. 5. A light jacket or wrap once the sun sets is a need for those who chill easily.

This Flippers Adventures Destin Dolphin Cruise was so much fun. The tour guide pointed our many groups of dolphins on both sides of the boat, stopped several times for everyone to get a great view and pictures, and kept everyone thoroughly entertained throughout the hour and a half round trip boat ride into the Gulf.

The Dolphin Cruise was terrific! The captain was awesome- he knew the places to see the dolphins and also provided a nice overview of the history of Destin as well as good places to eat along the waterfront. The 2 young women who were the crew were also great. They took photos of us with the sunset and were very helpful.

We had the absolute best time! We had so much fun on the first trip out that we booked the afternoon trip out as well. Me and my boyfriend have told so many people about this experience! The caption and workers were soooo fun and nice, dancing, singing, and many pics! You can bring your cooler, snacks, floats, whatever! We will definitely be going again!
