Well worth it.

Lake Bled is stunning and a must see. This tour included the boat ride to the island with the church and entry to the castle. Some breathtaking views of the lake. Karlo was an amazing guide. Very funny. Very knowledgeable. I was very impressed. It was fantastic.

Packed day but fantastic

This was a well organized, packed day trip! We really for a lot in. It was def scheduled and at times, wished we had more time to explore and see each location, but I wouldn't say we felt rushed. I felt this tour fit more in than most, and it was one of the only ones I saw that went to Vintgar gorge.

8 in a group very comfortable vehicle. Great tour guide. Very enjoyable day involving beautiful scenery. Involves going up/down multiple steps to get to the waterfall. Castle has beautiful views. Tasted the local pastry very nice If you don’t wish to go for a swim. People watching and obviously the view is great.

The full day tour of Triglav National Park was a highlight of my trip to Slovenia. The guide, Jon, was very knowledgeable about the area and provided great history points and conversation topics along the way. The stops to swim were refreshing so I definitely recommend bringing your swimsuit to jump in!

Must do tour when in Ljubljana

This tour was such a great experience during my short stay in Slovenia. Matt was our tour guide and he was phenomenal. His safe driving and excellent explanations of what we were going to see were made the tour comfortable and enjoyable. I couldn’t say there was one stop that was a highlight for me, as I enjoyed each one. Don’t skip out on taking this day tour if staying in Ljubljana.

This experience of the castle and the caves was amazing. Our guide provided us with significant background information about each site. This background information provided context for what we were visiting.The castle visit included an audio guide with excellent descriptions and stories about each of the locations. We had sufficient time in the castle before departing to the caves. The caves were incredible. You take a train into the caves and then begin the tour. Our guide shared that you want to be at the front of the guided tour line, close to the guide. The pace of the tour inside the cave is brisk as there is much to cover and many groups behind. The descriptions of the caves, the tour only covers one, is detailed including the geologic processes and timelines and how one can create images made by the stalagmites and stalactites.

This is possibly one of the best food tours I’ve participated in and I have done quite a few. The tour guides knowledge is amazing and delivered in a very light hearted way that made everyone feel really comfortable. I left the tour feeling really fond of Slovenia and wanting to come back.

Excellent!

The boat company messed up the timing, but our amazing guide made the best of it and moved things around so we could get the full experience. He was so thoughtful and continued to apologize, but there was no need. We got to visit a number of places…even with food samples of Slovenian cheese, bread, salami, and a lovely cake with views to end the tour. There was history, discussion of important places, and recommendations. Most of the contextual history was on the boat portion of the tour, which also had great views of the famous bridges. Overall, it was a lovely tour well worth the time and cost!

Our best day in Slovenia!

Our tour guide Matija was so friendly, approachable and knowledgeable! - We were so excited for this tour and it exceeded our expectations, especially jumping in the Soca Valley!! - Matija also took us to a fantastic lunch spot where we tried some delicious traditional Slovenian food, with a view! - We can’t recommend this tour enough!!

Gorge-ous views of the Soca Valley!

We had an absolutely amazing tour guide, Klara. I believe this was her first tour too! The extreme heat was so unbearable, but Klara’s energy really helped push us through. She also gave excellent recommendations on the best photo spots at each site so we didn’t have to waste energy finding them in the heat. She was also pointed out random beautiful views along the way and spot if we had asked, which unfortunately led to getting back later than expected but the pictures were will worth it! Highly recommend doing this tour and if you get Klara, you’ll be in great hands!
