Well, we had to pay $39 extra for my husband and aunt, because they were not from the European Community, even though when we checked in wr told the girl who helped us. This is truly a rip off. $39 a person is like paying full price for a tour we already paid for

A great introduction to Budapest, our guide (Ben) was very informative and interesting.
The coach enabled us to see several interesting sites in the time, Appx 3 hours, and ended at the Parliament building for an audio tour Appx 1 hr.
Sites included Heroes square, Fisherman's bastion, the Great Synagogue & Parliament building (which was stunning).
Ben also gave us info about places to eat and advice about trams, buses and the metro, and happily answered all questions.

It is a very quick rushed trip around the city with very little time to look at it and take it all in. Not even much time for a comfort break. The tour is only really 2 hrs 30 mins, with last hour walking through Parliament guided by others.

Very superficial tour of Budapest—very little time at Buda castle; possible LONG wait at Parliament.
We had only 10 minutes at the castle. We waited 45 minutes for the tour of Parliament. Our guides gave no information that waiting would be required.

While it was on a large coach bus, the boarding was effecient and the guide had so much historical and fun information it didnt feel lile you were with a large group.

The tour of Parliament was excellent -- it is hard to get tickets so when I saw that this tour had tickets included, it was why I signed up. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided a lot of information - it was almost too much history so after a bit of time it was hard to embrace -- he was passionate about the tour - would have liked to have stopped at Heros Square but we drove around twice -- due to traffic and time constraints. I would do this tour again but would recommend an easier history lesson -

This was a fabulous tour. Our guide was Eloni and she was very knowledgeable on the history of Hungary. It was the correct mix of Buda and Pest giving us a flavour for the city. Loved the stops at Hero’s Square, Holy Trinity Square and the final tour of the Parliament was amazing. This tour was approx 4.5 hours and as such was great value.

Mostly riding on a bus having the guide point out things that can be hard to see out the windows. Tour did stop at Hero's square and Fisherman's Bastion. But then you get dropped off to go to the Parliment, which did have a ticket included but the guide left you there. Not worth the $100 per person charged. You'd be better off taking a hop on hop off bus and buying your own ticket to the Parliment. I would not recommend this tour.

This package is ok. You don’t have enough time to look at the first 2 sites so if you don’t mind only seeing the outside then it’s worth it, Or your primary goal is to access the parliament tour.

We tried booking tickets for the Parliament Building Tour on our own and could not get in as the tickets were all sold out a week in advance. So we booked with Viator, and I have to say Ben was FANTASTIC!! We weren't sure what all we would see on the walking tour before going to the Parliament Building, and although Ben took us to places we had already visited, he gave us more history and perspective than we received doing an online guide on our own. We have done many Viator tours over the years in all different countries, and Ben was a phenomenal guide, one of the best we have ever had. Thanks Ben, we had a great time on our tour with you!

My friend Lois Sazer and I were extremely disappointed in this tour for the following reasons:
1. We booked transport with you from the Kempinsky hotel and the taxi was late in picking us up and then dropped us in the wrong location. There was no phone number on the receipt to contact you to assist us with getting a taxi to the proper location. We managed to get a taxi on our own and through no fault of our own we boarded the full bus late…. This was uncomfortable for us and certainly annoying to the rest of the folks who were kept waiting on the bus.
2. The guides were disorganized and had a device which didn’t work resulting in the majority of the group unable to hear the guide unless they were standing right beside her.
3. It was an exceptionally hot day (40 degrees Celsius) And not only did you not provide water but the guide was unclear as to where we could go to get it. rather than seeing the sights we came to see, we spent the very short time allotted in search of water.
4. We did not go to Heroes square as per the itinerary. We just drove past.
We expected better from a reputable tour such as yours. As such we are seeking reimbursement for the cost of the tour. The total cost was USD 193.44

Very disappointed! Extremely difficult hearing and understanding male guide. Expected more information about sites and city history as we passed areas- not just here are the drop offs. Anyone with hearing issues should avoid this tour.

Skip the bus ride and get your own tickets to the parliament. The group was very large. The guide would start talking before everyone was gathered. Chaos and confusion trying to get everyone a ticket at the parliament. Guide was grouchy.

Very hard to hear on the bus. Entirely missed Buda Castle. Super noisy fellow guests on our bus and we felt the tour guide should have shut them down.
We love Budapest but this tour was not for our family of four. Maybe something different next time.

Our guide Ben was so knowledgeable and told a beautiful story of the history of Budapest. He spoke eloquently and was easy to understand. He also told of of good places to eat and drink. He also offered concern and help for my somewhat disabled wife. Then he gave us the route to take to go back to out hotel. A+ !!
