If you want a unique view of the city, this is the tour for you. It was easy to schedule the tour and the operator was very communicative and helpful. He picked us up at our boat and even accommodated 2 extra participants the morning of the tour. During the tour, we were offered a variety of beverages and even some local Plinka. The ladies received beautiful post cards at the end of the trip. We were always parked in convenient places with adequate time to visit various sites. The operator uses a recorded narration for specific sites and then adds commentary and even suggested several restaurants and things to do. Riding in the historic vehicles was unique and fun allowing us to see far more than we would on a hop-on hop-off bus. I would do this again in a minute. Great service, great value, convenient, and fun.

Picked up from our apartment, our guide Peter was excellent. Took us to all the main sights, allowed time for photographs and showed us where to go for the best viewd of the city. Fitted in so much in 3hr time slot, it was fabulous introduction to Budapest. Water and prosecco on board and Peter helped us all get in and out of the vehicle at every stop. Very kind and courteous. Would definitely recommend.

Visited or passed most tourist sights. Audio played in vehicle to give tourist information on place you are heading to or passing. On booking, many places were to be stopped at for photo opportunity. Driver friendly but tour is booked for 3 hours, I was dropped back at my hotel in just under 2 hours......

We have been doing this program for 10 years!
You are the first person to do the 3 hour tour in 2 hours!!!!
Usually my 3 hour tour, my guests do it in (minimum) 3-3.5 hours.
At every stop I told you that you have the opportunity to walk, take photos. I gave you 15-25 minutes at each stop. You usually came back to the car after 5-10 minutes. (I was surprised too).
If I add up the route and the time spent at the stops, the tour would have been at least 3 hours -3 hours 15 minutes.
I am sorry if I disappointed you!

Great experience saw all the sites in Budapest and with photo opportunities. There were blankets heated seats water and mulled wine included. Tour guide with audio was great!

I highly recommend this private tour especially who do not have much time exploring all around the city! My husband and I only had two and a half days in Budapest, so we were pretty happy that we got to visit Budapest landmarks in few hours. The driver/guide was very nice and friendly. The tourist locations were excellent, and our guide was courteous and professional. However, considering the high cost of the tour, we expected a guide who could communicate fluently in English. Unfortunately, he had difficulty conveying information and answering some of our questions, which made it challenging to fully appreciate the experience. Overall, while the sites themselves were wonderful, the language barrier made the tour feel less than value for money.

The trip is in an open top jeep. The open top allows for good photos, but the trip was also excellent because of Bence. He was very enthusiastic, provided cold drinks, and had lots of historical information about Budapest. Good opportunities for walking and visiting sites, and certainly much better than walking to the places we visited and drew lots of glances with the jeep. Would highly recommend this activity in Budapest to visit a good number of worthwhile locations. And the jeeps air conditioned 👍

We really enjoyed our Jeep tour—Bence was a good guide. He was knowledgeable, easygoing, and made the whole experience smooth. The views were beautiful and he took us to some spots we wouldn’t have found on our own.
Overall, a great way to explore the area. Would definitely recommend, especially if the weather is good.

We were two couples visiting Budapest and booking the vintage jeep tour was truly one of the best decisions of our trip! This was an out-of-the-box, unforgettable experience that gave us a unique perspective of the city.
The service quality was absolutely top-notch. Our driver-cum-guide was incredibly polite, respectful, and professional throughout. He made us feel like VIPs – always opening the door for us, never in a rush, and making sure we were comfortable at every step.
In just 3 hours, we were able to cover almost all the major highlights of Budapest in style, and the ride itself was an experience to remember. The icing on the cake was that he dropped us right at the pier for our Danube cruise, perfectly timed.

Great introduction tour. Laslo was a great driver. You have 4 short stops at prime places. Really gives you a good idea of layout of city and what you might want to see more off. Not an in depth tour well worth it. Private don’t have to wait on anyone else.

A must do when visiting Budapest for the first time. Our driver Leslie (sorry, I don't know how to spell the Hungarian version) was an absolute gentleman and made the journey very enjoyable. He was very kind, helping us in and out of the jeep on each stop. We took the day tour which was 3 hours. It was very chilled with 4x stops where we were allowed out to explore and take photographs for 15 minutes each time. Leslie very kindly took some photographs for us and even took my phone and crossed the tram tracks to get good pictures of the parliament building. He had a few surprises for us on the journey which I won't spoil for other people. We gathered alot of attention from pedestrians and other road users who were waving at us... it gave me a few hours of feeling famous! 😀 I visited in December and booked the 13:30 slot so got to see the best of both worlds as it was almost dark on our return journey and the lights of the city were beautiful. The 4x4 has headed seats if you need them but we found it comfortable without them. All in all, a very relaxing tour where we got to see alot of the city in a short space of time. Leslie was an utter gentlemen and kept us out past our cut if time as the 55 year old jeep broke down during the tour but he more than made up for it and we found it quite funny. Our utmost thanks to Leslie and the team. Highly recommend 😊

The Russian Jeep Tour with our guide Lazlo was an absolutely great experience. My wife said it was one of the most "fun" tours she had ever been on! Lazlo is a charming an engaging tour guide. We happened to be the only people on the tour the morning we went -- it was a beautiful morning and the top was down on the jeep -- which is 70 years old! Wherever we went people waved at us -- you can really soak in the ambience of the city as you slowly cruise Budapest's main -- and not so main -- streets. We went to the Food Market, Citadel Hill, St. Stephen's church, and Buda Castle, Lazlo happens to be a professional photographer -- he took some great photos of us at these landmarks. I cannot say enough good things about the tour -- and Lazlo. Moreso -- when we were dropped off at our hotel one of the gifts we bought -- a package with a variety of paprika -- accidentally was left in the jeep. We did not even notice this went we got back to our hotel room. A few minutes later I got a text from Lazlo saying he had found the package and would be coming to our hotel to return it. He didn't have to do it -- but he did. That says a great deal about how he cares for his customers.

The "old jeep" tour is an interesting concept, however it was a bit shallow in terms of content. The driver was nice and did his best, I would suggest doing something a bit more economical
