This was a really good tour, perfect for a first day in Budapest if you want to get the lay of the city. Our tour guide was Zoltan, and he was great - very knowledgeable, well informed and nice. Also, the van he drove us around in was super comfortable and in great condition. We would 1000% recommend his services.

Zaltan was amazing! We were on a Christmas cruise and none of the Viking excursions could compare to what he offered us! He was so accommodating for my mom who is a bit slower. He was incredibly knowledgeable, a safe driver and hit all the places we wanted to see! I would recommend this to anyone going to Budapest!

We were giving a new tour guide and smaller vehicle than was described. The tour guide complained alot about traffic. She had a wealth of knowledge on the history of Hungary.

Dear Arthur, I am really sorry if you felt so. My father-in-law suddenly became seriously ill and was taken to the hospital. It happened roughly 2,5 hours prior to our planned tour. Of course my place was by my wife's side. I informed you immediately and asked you if we can start later. You declined because of your tight schedule - I absolutely understood it. Despite the high season I was able to find a great colleague who was available to do the tour and had a 5 seater van. Yes, it was smaller than my Mercedes van but that was all I could do in that emergency situation. (I think her complaints regarding the bad traffic was due to the extremely bad traffic situation we had in the last few days in Budapest because of the big flood of the Danube. Many important roads were closed.) Right after your tour I sent you a message asking if everything was okay and I offered a free by night tour with me as a compensation, but you did not reply... I understand your disapointment but believe me, I did all I could, sometimes things are just out of our control...

Zoltan with Rinett tours was extremely knowledgeable and made sure we saw all the highlights of Budapest. He picked us up at our hotel, explained each sight we visited, his tour was informative and well planned. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting this beautiful city. We were able to visit sights that other visitors on large bus tours sere unable to navigate! Zoltan made us feel welcome to this wonderful city.

He was absolutely amazing. Picked us up at our hotel. Spent 4 1/2 hours with us taking us everywhere and informing us about the history and the current situation. We loved seeing the parliament went back for another tour two days later.

Everyone should take a tour with Zoltan! We enjoyed driving between sites. It was the best way to see so many landmarks in the city on a warm day with our 10 & 12 year old. Zoltan was super knowledgeable and very nice. And, as a bonus he takes GREAT photos .

This was the best way to see Budapest in our short time here. We had young children and Zoltan was able to drive us to the various destinations. The itinerary can be custom made to our preference and we were able to spend more time in one location and skip another based on our preference. Zoltan is very knowledgeable and able to explain the historical details of the places and landmarks. Very courteous too. One of the best guide we have used.

If you could give more than 5 stars, we would. Zoltan was an incredible guide - friendly and knowledgeable, he went above and beyond to make the most of our day in Budapest. Communicating with him through WhatsApp was a breeze. He is willing to meet you anywhere in Budapest - we met him at the Keleti train station after taking the train in from Vienna. The tour essentially started there with the history of the train station. He took us to all the top sights and highlights of both Buda and Pest, and gave us a great lesson in Hungarian history as well as the history of Budapest along the way. He also took us to some more "off the beaten path" locations to show us the uniqueness of Budapest - for example, the first subway on the European continent, the museum of Terror, and the Gellert thermal baths. He highly recommended going to the dome of St Stephens Basilica, and his recommendation was spot on as the view was stunning. We only wish we had more time with him to spend in Budapest.
