You must order tickets to see the inside of Parliament far in advance so if you neglected to do so, the pricier tour is another option for you.

Excellent English speaking guide named Anna . She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw quite a bit for a short tour . We went to the Buda side and saw the cathedral it was spectacular!

You get a decent overview of the city, and it’s great to be on an air conditioned bus in the summer. It was a bit of information overload, but I understand most people want that. I wish the tour description mentioned that you get off the bus and walk around three times - once at Fisherman’s Bastion for 60 minutes, once at Heroes’ Square for 30 minutes, and finally at the end of the tour at the Hungarian Parliament for 30 minutes. The description should also mention it’s a brisk 5 block walk to get to the Hungarian Parliament. We were traveling with one older person, and that brisk walk at peak daytime heat was a bit much for her. Decent tour nonetheless.

We have booked this tour in advance but my son was down with Viral going on in budapest. On the day of tour in morning also i have left message to tour operator that we can't make it and if they can re-schedule us or books us in some private tour ( we will pay the difference). One of their operator says yes this can be done and asked for wait till couple of hrs. They booked me to other private tour with full price and didn't give any discount/adjustment for the ~126 $ which was pre-paid. Our reason was not a lame excuse but genuine one and i have doctor record to share also.

This was the best tour I had in Budapest! The tour guide Eszter was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and punctual. She made sure we got to see everything and gave us free time in the Castle area. I highly recommend this tour company. If you are looking to see Budapest and understand the history, this is a must. Ask for Eszter!

360 tour! Moving around from one point of interest to another helps you get a quick understanding of Budapest as a whole to then decide specific activities to do during your next day’s. There is a part where you do walk and take stairs once in Buda Castle, also part of the experience. Super kind, funny and stories by the tour guide.

This tour was just ok
We started waiting over 20 minutes for a few folks that we late.. and then same folks late again getting back to the group when we had a little free picture taking time
The guide gave highlights in 2 languages which was cumbersome. It would have helped to have audio headsets to hear better. It was cold out and we stopped at random locations for her to share info, that wasn’t that relevant to location.

Had the impression that the group was just being herded from one place to the next, tour guide walked quickly without checking that people were close behind, little chance for photos, many things pointed out were gone before we could see them. Several people had disabilities but these were ignored when he was racing up the steps to the castle, one woman who was very angry and upset was basically waved away for pointing out that no mention was made that the tour was unsuitable for such participants. His knowledge was good, but not a good tour guide!

The guide was fairly old and really struggled with anything outside the script. He was very nice and he gave us a lot of information. But he really struggles if something out of the ordinary happened. I would recommend the tour because you might not get the same guide.

Budapest is a fantastic city, with lots of history, nice places to see. The guide, Dorothy was very professional and knowlegeable. Of course, a thorough tour would require more than 3 hours, but you can use the tour to choose what to visit in more depth.

I don't her name. She didn't introduce herself. I signed up for an English walking tour and got a Spanish with some English guide bus tour. It was 95% Spanish speakers and some geriatric folks that complained about the walking of the tour. I understand 70% Spanish, but when she translates to English she will only explain about 60% of what she would tell the Spanish group. Too be fair it was a bunch of complaining Spaniards who can't walk and aggrevitsting her. I just wish we stop doing mixed groups.

Our guide was very sweet but this was suppose to be an English speaking tour. There was a couple who spoke French so she split her time evenly speaking both languages. I felt like we were rushed through the tour and didn't get a great historical and current day perspective like the other tours that we went on.

We had a wonderful experience during this three hour tour of Budapest. Our tour guide was an elderly gentleman whose name we cannot recall whose knowledge of the history of Budapest was truly amazing. During this tour we crossed over to the Buda side where the castle is located and had a one hour walking tour with our guide. He took the time to introduce himself and get to know each of the families in his tour group. We even heard him talking in fluent Italian to two young guys on our tour. All three of us had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour.
