This tour is well worth taking, and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Wise, friendly tourguide, comfortable ride, but you will do quite a bit of walking too. Adam ws a great guide who paid attention to the interests of his guests.

Great way to get an overview of the city and the main attractions. Our guide Dora was knowledgable, friendly, answered our questions. Good combination of time in the van (with AC) and being able to walk/explore. Only 4 of us in total - 2 Spanish speakers, 2 English. Dora did a good job balancing between both.

The tour guide for this tour was so knowledgeable, she made the tour memorable for me. The castle was stunning, the amount of time at each stop was perfect, I would definitely recommend this excursion.

This was a pleasant introduction to some of the highights of Budapest. Ingrid, our tour guide, was quite knowlegable and provided lots of information. Most of it was via bus commentary but we did stop for several walks. A pleasant short excursion for our first day in the city.

Our guide was giving the tour in both English and Spanish which really detracted from the experience. We booked the tour in English; we were the two English speakers and there were 4 Spanish speakers. The tour was very disjointed. The guide was unable to develop any of the rapport typical of these tours. I would not have booked this if I had known it would be delivered like this

This tour provides familiarity with the main landmarks of Budapest. Atilla, the tour guide, provided a running commentary which made for easy listening. There was a total of 5 people on this tour in a minivan. Overall a very pleasant 1/2 day.

The country and places were beautiful. From my experience on previous tours I’ve been on, this one felt short. The guide’s job is to make everyone feel included, but as a solo traveler, I felt left out since the guide always gravitated toward the larger group.

Tour guide was not easy to understand and spoke too fast. Never gave updates on districts. Also there were two German speakers on the bus, who also spoke English along with the rest of the bus but unfortunately the majority of her narrative was in German and she focused all her time with one passenger. Also we had a stop at the Hilton in Buda and walked through and sat in the lounge where she had a long chat with the passenger mentioned above, which gave us very little time to walk around the castle grounds and no opportunity to take photos of the Danube and parliament building. When I asked for some time she said you can take photos from the bus???

We had a wonderful and knowledgeable guide, Maria, who really knew a lot about the area and history of Budapest she was a native of the city. There was a fair amount of walking, but even in the heat it wasn’t too bad.

I would not recommend this tour at all. The time allowed at Buda Castle was about 20 minutes which was insufficient . The City hop on / off bus is much better value and you can decide yourself how much time to spend at each place of interest.

The personal experiences of our guide Maria. We got seldom seen views of the monastery, the Fishermans bastion, and a Cafe with chestnut dessert only served seasonally, Gest____ . Our driver was excellent. I HIGHKY recommend this!!

This tour is mislabeled- it’s mostly a driving tour of the Buda side of Budapest- I was a nice tour and Maria our guide was excellent

I picked this tour as a first time traveler to Budapest. The goal was to get highlights to decide which points of interest I’d like to visit later. After the tour, I had no idea what it was about. The group had English and German speakers and was in two languages. The guide was just telling us memorized text. With audio tour the effect would’ve been the same. While guide was speaking in English, German people were having conversations, which created situation where the guide was not heard.
Very disappointed, wouldn’t recommend to others.

I would not recommend this tour. We spent most of the tour in a van that did not have ample space. The tour guide would point left and right towards historical structures. We did not reach all the locations that were listed as places to visit. Hop on and off would have likely been cheaper and a better experience. Don't waste your time and money.

Just the beautiful sights and the information on the history our guide gave us. We were given ample time for photos as well as stops for refreshment and toileting. Our guide was able to help us navigate so that the amount of walking and heat were doable.
