A taste of Athens

One of the more successful, well rounded Viator food tours we have done - though the group was not “small” (13) they were congenial, and our guide handled them well. We saw a nice balance of raw ingredients and finished dishes, and the amount of food was not overwhelming and did not lean too heavily on alcohol. It would have been better to have chosen the AM session, as the covered market was virtually finished for the day when we visited. I would have enjoyed seeing it going full blast! Had we been staying longer, we would certainly have revisited some shops!

An amazing tour. Our guide, Niobe, was very knowledgeable and you could tell she enjoyed her job very much. She even went so far as to ensure us great pictures of the sacred olive tree before it became too crowded. We were able to see not only the Parthenon, but also one of the two theaters on the hill, and she talked about both theaters in great detail. She also found spots for us to sit, which was appreciated as we had been walking around a lot. Overall this was one of the best tours I have been on and I am very glad we had such a caring and intelligent guide.

Awesome tour … Best Food tour guide of all time! BOOK now and request ZEFIE As your tour guide … you will not regret ZEFIE was able to pull our group of 6 into a group… I mean didn’t even acknowledge each other as we were obviously on the same tour … at the end we were all chatting like we had been friends forever … and this is how it happened… ZEFIE was a great facilitator full of knowledge about Greece history, food and culture. She didn’t dominate the conversation but rather encouraged discussion. She made us feel that we were part of the experience by asking us what we would prefer ie beef or lamb She picked awesome stops and the food was ready by the time we walked there.. at one restaurant who is known for making good fresh she took our “order” and shared that prepared everything fresh Book ZEFIE!!!!!!

An amazing Tour

This was a very long trip but the drive to Delphi was wonderful, alot of historical sights to see along the way which our guide made sure to point out. Delphi was breath taking. The climb up to the temple of Apollo, ancient theater and other sights is a must see. Only downside was that the museum tour felt slightly rushed and we didn't get alot of time to view all the exhibits. The four course meal afterwards was delious.

The Awesome Acropolis and Greek Mythology Tour

Take this tour if you are in Athens! It is an easy walk to the top of the Acropolis and there are a lot of stops along the way as our awesome guide Michael told us about each section of the historical site. Our son really enjoyed all of the detailed descriptions of the Greek Mythology behind the existence and construction of each temple or monument. The smaller group size of just 12 people per group was also a benefit as we were easily able to stay together. We highly recommend this tour!

This was a wonderful experience! We had Sophia as our guide. She was super knowledgeable and she made the whole tour amazing. She was really funny, personable, and accommodating. She made a point to stop for breaks along the way in shady areas where we could also sit. She even recommended a local restaurant and bar for us to go to after. 100/10 service from her! The tour itself was also incredible. Seeing that the ruins in person was such a wonderful experience. At the top of the hill, there was amazing views of the city!

Fun in Athens 🚴‍♀️

Our e-bike tour was guided by Alex on a hot Athens day. He was fabulous, providing great information and some laughs, was very welcoming and offered his assistance with anything we needed. The best part was we missed the start of the tour due to the city centre being closed for an event, I communicated this and once we arrived we were taken to meet with the group so we didn’t miss out! We were so grateful!!
