What are people saying about Athens

Well organized and worth it
The trip was very well organized. Fryni, our guide, was professional and kind and she gave us information about Greek culture through out the whole journey to Delphi. The driver was very pleasant too. Delphi's temple and museum are worth visiting for their historical, cultural and spiritual importance. The trip there is a bit long but doable. I can recommend.

See a lot of Athens in 2.5 hours
We (my teenaged son and daughter and I) enjoyed a fun afternoon touring Athens with our guide Alex and another family who had joined the tour. Our guide was very good-natured and also shared with us a lot of interesting information about Athens and the sights we were seeing. The bike tour enabled us to see a number of things we would not have had time to see, or would not have known to see, outside of this tour. I especially liked seeing the Panathenaic Stadium and riding through the Agora. I had not ridden an e-bike before and it was certainly helpful in 1 or 2 spots! I recommend this tour; we all enjoyed it.

Not your Mom’s Gyros!
This very special evening included walking through multiple Athens food neighborhoods sampling Greek food and enjoying some different wines, grappa, and ouzo. Most of the foods were things I’d never heard of - all were delicious! Yannis is a real treasure of a guide! He shared so much history along with the incredible food.

Fun and tasty intro to Greek food and more.
Kate takes us on a fun walk through old Athen's neighborhoods, stopping for us to learn about and taste many wonderful foods and drinks. It was more food than we could walk off! On the way back, Kate took us through Little Kook, think Alice in Wonderland themed corner.

Athens is best seen on foot—you’ll see an array of famous sites, such as the Acropolis, along with experiencing everyday Greek culture and discovering hidden spots you might otherwise miss. Athens walking tours feature knowledgeable guides who share insights into life in the city and its history, with some offering perks like priority access to the Acropolis. Choose from archaeological explorations, neighborhood walks through Philopappou and Plaka, art-focused excursions, or food tours of markets and tavernas. Either way, walking tours reveal details and street-level perspectives you won’t get on a bus or self-guided route.
