The long and winding road… to heaven.

Very unique and kinda spiritual experience. Pilgrims in olden days endured long and uncomfortable journeys to visit holy sites. This is almost the same concept, except for the uncomfortable part. The monasteries of Meteora are a must see. Just be prepared for a 13 hour bus trip! Recommendations: 1) Travel to this site when the weather is cooler! Do not go in the heat of summer as the experience may be diminished due to the heat. 2) Do the 2 day (overnight) option if you’re planning on visiting both Delphi and Meteora. The 2.5 hrs to Delphi + overnight and then to Meteora the next day will be less strenuous. It will of course, require a 4.5 hour return to Athens if that is your base. Recommendation to the tour operator: Please have a clear sign held by someone across Larissa station that says: METEORA CHECK-IN, or something like that. With multiple buses on both sides of the street, first time tourists can get confused as to which bus or side to go to. We only knew about a driver with a sign in sheet from another tourist. All in all, a MUST SEE!

Fun tour to see the quick highlights, here the history and spend time at the Acropolis!

Good tour with a very informative driver/guide! We packed a lot in a short time and got to see the best parts of Athens up close! Only thing we did not get was water, which we really needed at this time of year! I still recommend this tour as we enjoyed it very much!

Good tour and organized. Just know its HOT during summer here!

Good trip relaxing. It was very hot but the guide made sure we took some shade while we walk around. The trip was well guided and strict on timeline to align with the schedule. Bus has good AC and wifi. Tour guide microphone sometimes cannot be understand but still manageable. Overall good experience. Pro tip: do not go on summer as it is very hot!!

Great day trip!

We had an absolutely amazing time. We had Alex as our driver who was great, fun to talk to, very knowledgeable but also respectful when we got tired. What really made the day great was we ended up having it as a private trip. Really recommend this trip, all the places you go to are great. Nafplio was absolutely stunning.

Walk n talk a lot on this Athens tour! We learned so much from our very knowledgeable guide on this tour. Better be in fairly good shape to walk, stand and navigate many flights of stairs. All the historical sights, archeological sites, and museum gave a whole day of memorable experiences.

Fantastic tour, I cannot recommend it strongly enough

This was one of the best tour experiences I’ve ever had, and Rina is the reason why. Over nearly 5 packed hours, she delivered an overwhelming amount of history and mythology in the best possible way. She’s enthusiastic, welcoming, and visibly passionate about her subject in a way that elevates the entire experience. Despite the crowds, she handled a mid-sized group with ease, took questions constantly, and never lost her energy or focus. The mythology and history of each structure came alive in a way no guidebook could replicate. Five stars without hesitation.

The Best of Athens done right

Alex our driver and guide was fantastic, super helpful and very attentive. He met us at the cruise port right on time, answered all questions, even the silly ones and was so eager to share his knowledge of Athens, the sights and history. We saw so many sights, beat the bulk of the lines at the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum and then had a lovely and super tasty lunch at a little coastal restaurant near Poseidon's Temple. If you want to make the most of a day in Athens, this tour will make that happen.
