This is a private tour. Only your group will participate. The pick-up time is adjustable upon your request. Your personal driver will pick you up and return you to the same place or to the point you prefer. In case of a hotel, he will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby. In case of an apartment, he will be waiting for you at the entrance of the building. For port pick-up, he will be waiting for you at the gate, just as you disembark, holding a sign with your name on it to spot him upon arrival.

Great way to fill time between cruise disembarkation and hotel check-in.

This was an excellent way to spend the morning after arriving back to the cruise terminal before being able to check into our hotel in Athens. If you enjoy hiking more than museums, I recommend spending less time at the museum and more time exploring Acrocorinth.

We had an excellent time. Cost, our driver, was great. He asked us why we chose this excursion and we told him it was to do somewhat of a biblical tour of where the Apostle Paul may have been. So he took that to heart and shared info that would add to the experience we wanted. He was very knowledgeable about Greek Mythology & religion. He was very passionate when he spoke and his information helped make each stop more memorable. The length of the day was perfect. We went to 4 stops and enjoyed them all. We never felt rushed. We would recommend this tour.

We were traveling on a cruise ship that docked in Athens last Thursday. Because we had previously visited Athens, we wanted to see some out of town sights, including Corinth. Although our schedule was tight, Viator arranged a private tour for us with pickup from our hotel. Petros was our guide for the 1/2 day, and was simply awesome. While we don’t speak Greek, his English was superb. His knowledge of the country, personality and willingness to be flexible to our interests made this trip very worthwhile.

Mastering Greek Mytholgy made easy by Costa

Costa was a most fascinating guide. We ended up being the only two on the tour after we finished a Virgin Greek Isles cruise. His passion was Greek Mythology and we wish we received his explanations before we set off on our Greek Odyssey. So much of the English language and our culture is underpinned by the original Greek legends, which were paralleled in all religions. The Corinth Canal has to be seen to be believed but the highlight was to the Museum of Ancient Corinth - better labelled and displayed then those in the Acropolis museum. We we taken to the peak of Acrocorinth for outstanding views over ancient and modern Corinth and a tasty lunch at the restaurant there. Climbing up to the fortress is not for the feint-hearted but worth the effort! Costa then took us to the airport for an extra fee. The day was a highlight of our trip and I recommend anyone spending a few days in Athens to do this tour first to get a good grounding in the history and culture of Greece.

I would highly recommend a trip to Corinth if you're in Athens! The canal, Ancient Corinth, Castle and ruins were all spectacular - I'm so glad we decided to go on this tour. To top it all off, we had a delicious meal at Marino's, which was included in our tour. George was a phenomenal guide!! He was so knowledgeable and filled our day with fascinating stories of Greek history. A+!!

Exhilarating

Our day was full of history and many things Greek. The Corinth Canal was fantastic to see and what a great building achievement this is. How it had changed things with its quick access from the Ionian Sea to the Aegean Sea was genius. The visit to the Corinth Museum and seeing the Temple of Apollo was great, but the visit to the Acrocorinth, Upper Corinth at the ancient city was mind blowing. Massively high with views forever, it was quite a spectacle. We took the challenge to hike into the site as far as we could, but this is a massive structure and cannot be mastered in the little time we had there. All the same we did pretty well and got amazing views after scrambling up the steep and slippery stones that they used as pathways. Truly exhilarating.

The back history on Greece provided by the driver on the way to Cornith was very interesting!! Also, the ruins were much larger than I expected. It was also nice as it wasn't crowded, so you can take your time to go thru the areas. The driver was in tune to my interests, he pointed out areas or gave me info in regards to them. Lastly, lunch was fantastic! Definitely worth the trip!

Konstantin was an excellent tour guide, detailed in his explanations and doing everything he could to make sure the day met our expectations. We weren't rushed and he made sure we had all the time we needed to get the best from the locations we visited. He listened and took us to two additional sites based upon our discussion.
