My husband and I did the Acropolis/Parthenon & Acropolis Museum Tour - it was fabulous! Effie was our tour guide and she was so sweet and so knowledgeable! She made for a very fun and fascinating experience! I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants a better understanding of Greek history and culture. My ONLY complaint was the headsets - they give you a lanyard with a device to hang around your neck and an earpiece to go with it - it seemed as though the range on the device wasn’t very far or the headset was just faulty… Effie would cut in and out from time to time, but if i stood super close to her it seemed to work ok! All that to say, still a wonderful experience and very grateful to Effie for her expertise!

Our family had an absolutely outstanding private tour of Athens with Manos through Viator, and it will be assuredly one of the highlights of our trip to Greece. Manos was far more than a driver or tour guide—he was an exceptional teacher of Greek history, culture, and society. His deep knowledge brought Athens to life as he explained not only the famous ancient sites, but also the evolution of Greece through the Classical, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, and modern eras. His passion for history was very obvious, and his ability to be so effusive while he connected thousands of years of events into a fascinating story kept all of us engaged throughout the day. We visited and learned about many of Athens’ most important landmarks, including the Acropolis, Parthenon, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Panathenaic Stadium, Syntagma Square, the Hellenic Parliament, the changing of the Presidential Guard, and numerous other historic neighborhoods and viewpoints. Along the way, Manos also shared recommendations for local restaurants, shopping areas, Greek customs, and everyday life in Athens that we never would have discovered on our own. What truly set him apart was his ability to explain not just what we were seeing, but why it mattered. He provided incredible context about Greek culture, philosophy, religion, politics, architecture, and the enduring influence of Greece on the modern world. Every question we asked was answered thoughtfully and in great detail. In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable, Manos was professional, personable, patient, and an extremely safe driver. He made our family feel welcome from the moment we met him. If you are visiting Athens and want a tour that combines history, culture, local insight, and genuine hospitality, we cannot recommend Manos highly enough. He turned a sightseeing tour into a memorable educational experience that our family will be talking about for years. Five stars in every category. Highly recommended.

The tour of the Acropolis was incredible. Georgina was incredibly knowledgable and engaging and my Son (10) loved learning more about the history and myths of this incredible civilisation. I can highly recommend it for all age groups and we were very impressed.
