Great day! The long drive was worth it. The Delphi Museum was amazing. I usually only like paintings. But, this wa an exception. The statues, the artifacts were a feast for my eyes. The grounds were steep and a slippery. No one fell. John the archaeologist was knowledgeable and friendly. He has a master’s in archaeology. The lunch was delicious. My husband tried something new and liked it. It would have been nice to been offered a bottle of water. Not a deal breaker

Possibly the best way to experience the Acropolis

Simply because of the nature of the Acropolis, there is a lot of walking and up / down stairs and steps. The guide cleverly managed the phases of the experience to allow plenty of time for resting while relating background and stories as well as making opportunities to look around and take photos - but the walking still needs to be done. You don't need to be a marathon runner or a mountain goat, just reasonably mobile; the Acropolis is not a gentle wander through a garden. However, it's the only way to properly view and appreciate the Acropolis area and the monuments / buildings.

An unusual fantastic experience

A fantastic story and experience, to see the ancient ruins and then imagine how people walked around back then. Should I put a minus on the experience, as you don't need to have bad legs or fitness to walk the steep 175 meters to the top, but it is worth it. Be happy.

Amazing Experience

Amazing Experience and worth the climb. The 1st monastery, St Nikolaos, was the hardest climb. The 2nd, Varlaam Monastery was easier, larger and more beautiful than the 1st. Holy Trinity was the last and smallest. The photo stops were well planned and breathtaking, with locations used in Game of Thrones and 007 For Your Eyes Only. Don’t be last in line for lunch. The guide was locally raised and well educated in the local history. A tour not to be missed.

This is a "can't miss" experience on any trip to Athens if you haven't done it before. The museum is fabulous. The tour of the Acropolis is almost surreal. Our tour guide, Dr. Michael G. was absolutely fantastic. Not only did he have an incredible command of the information and history, he was a very personable guy and provided us with a lot of enjoyable moments.

Fun 1 day tour

Great one day tour for a quick getaway. The boat was clean and spacious. The crew was friendly and helpful. Food in the buffet was delicious. Swimming was refreshing and fun. Aegina had many things to do — Apollo temple, shopping, pistachios, gelato, etc. The first island didn’t have very much to do but we made the most of it.
