The meeting point is 60m from the "Acropolis" metro station, at Athanasiou Diakou 16 Street & Syggrou Avenue, 11742 Athens.(link). When using Google or Apple Maps, be sure to include the postal code 11742 to locate us correctly. Piraeus port is about 40 minutes by taxi depending on the traffic.

The ride starts near the Acropolis metro station, where you're fitted with your bike, helmet, and a regular or electric option. From there, follow your guide and small group along a bike-friendly route past the Acropolis Museum to the National Observatory, with a short walk up to the overlook for views across the city.
The route continues through Thiseio and past the Kerameikos cemetery and Roman Agora, with a stop for photos, then on past the Cathedral, the Plaka neighborhood, and a viewpoint over the Acropolis and Parthenon. The final stretch passes the Presidential Mansion, the Panathenaic Stadium, and the Zappeion, ending at the Arch of Hadrian before returning to the meeting point.
If you've chosen the e-bike option with the Acropolis add-on, you also spend time at the hilltop complex with a guide.

- Our tours will operate under all weather conditions, rain or shine
- Please arrive at the starting point 15 minutes early. The bike tour begins promptly at the scheduled time and late arrivals cannot be accommodated
- Please note that there are no restroom facilities at our meeting point
- This tour is suitable for all fitness levels, as long as you can ride a bike. Not recommended for those with heart conditions or other serious medical issues
- Participants must be over 12 years old
- This tour does not include entry to archaeological sites (except for the Electric Bike + Acropolis Visit option). The focus is on exploring the city’s layout, enjoying the ride, and capturing great photos and it does not include an in-depth historical commentary
- This tour is limited to a maximum of 12 participants
- The tour leader may modify the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances or traffic regulations on the day of the tour
- For option 'Electric Bike + Acropolis Visit' :Acropolis entrance tickets are included, so please do not purchase them separately

We always love starting our tour of a city with a bike ride. Great way to know the city. But the success of a bike tour and in this case the added Acropolis archeology tour wouldn’t be complete without a great Guide. Demos was our guide and he was excellent. A bike enthusiast and historian all rolled up in one what a perfect combination for this tour. Highly recommend this tour and especially Demos our guide

It was a very enjoyable ride through Athens. The guide Jim, was knowledgeable, funny and entertaining. We covered some ground and saw a handful of sites. The petal assist bikes were easy and it was nice to be out before the crowds. Even with a few sprinkles, we had a great time!
I booked this experience and received a ticket labeled “bike tour + acropolis”. When I arrived I was told I had not booked the acropolis and had to scramble to buy tickets last minute. I was also told the tour would go on rain or shine but it was thundering and lightning in the background and I was still told that I would have to go on the tour or forfeit my ticket. This tour group was very misleading and not what I have come to expect from a group associated with Viatour. I would never recommend this to anyone traveling to Athens.
Dimos was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, funny, and a wonderful storyteller! His passion for his country, Athens, and its history truly came through throughout the bike and Acropolis tour. He also gave us amazing restaurant and sightseeing recommendations for the rest of our trip. This was one of the highlights of our time in Athens, and we highly recommend Dimos and this tour!

Easy, fun bike ride around the city. Dodging the tourists was probably the most challenging part! And there were a lot! Our host for the tour, Marios, was fantastic—congenial, responsible, knowledgeable and fun. Kept watch over all of us, knew us each by name and got us safely around. We even got to see a special and unexpected military parade at the presidential mansion.

We absolutely enjoyed the Athens e-bike tour. What a fantastic way to see major sites of the city in a short amount of time. A great overview to start out our Greece trip. My husband enjoyed the history and background of the Roman Agora. I loved the beautiful views of the sea and Parthenon from the observatory. Karolis was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable about history, and his English was excellent.

Fantastic way to explore Athens! The e-bike tour took us around the Acropolis, Parthenon, Ancient Agora and Roman Agora with fascinating insights into the city’s history and culture.
Our guide Angelos was excellent — extremely knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. When we had a flat tire, he fixed it amazingly quickly and completely unflappably, without missing a beat. Highly recommended, and especially if you’re lucky enough to have Angelos as your guide!

We only had one full day in Athens and this bike tour and walking tour combo was an absolute amazing experience! We got to see a good part of Athens during the bike tour. Our guide K was very helpful, knowledgeable and cautious. We stopped for many incredible photos opps and at the end we left with more fun facts about Athens and Greek history. The walking tour started immediately after the bike tour and almost all of us in the group needed to have a bite to eat before the acropolis tour. Demos our tour guide gave us a comment to take a quick break. He was extremely knowledgeable and added a good amount of humor in our tour. Everything was so worth it

Electric bikes were a great choice for the Athens hills. Our guide took us to hidden gem spots for great picture opportunities. If you like spending your holidays active, this is must do trip. The views and the trip itself were awesome!

Easy riding away from most traffic. We had 8 and it was a great sized group. Well timed stops with small breaks along the way. Dimos was a wonderful guide with great background and tons of large and small details about the places we visited.

We did the e-bike tour at 5:00 PM, and it was absolutely perfect. The weather was beautiful, and riding in the evening made the experience even more enjoyable.
We were able to see so many places that were already on our list, but instead of spending the day walking between them, we got to explore Athens comfortably by e-bike. It was such a fun and easy way to see more of the city in less time!
Our tour guide, Chuck, was excellent! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience fun and memorable.

Dimitris was our guide, and he was excellent. Very informative, kind, and with a great sense of humor. I have been visiting Greece for many years, and I can say that this was, without a doubt, one of the best tours I have ever taken.
We visited and discovered new places we had never seen before. With Dimitris (a Greek God! 😂), we managed to see a little bit of everything, which allowed us to get to know Athens better and decide which places we would like to visit or enjoy more leisurely afterward.
I highly recommend this tour!
