This was such a great tour! We covered so many neighborhoods, so many beautiful churches, and both the Roman and Greek agoras. We finished off with a fabulous taverna dinner. I will definitely recognize this tour.
We had a wonderful experience exploring the sights of Athens followed by a delicious dinner. It was such a lovely way to experience the city—seeing the historic landmarks, taking in the atmosphere, and then ending the evening with a fantastic meal with new friends!
Everything was well organized, and we really appreciated the combination of sightseeing, local culture, and great food. The experience felt personal and enjoyable rather than rushed.
A special thank you to our guide Vivian for making the evening so memorable and sharing the history and character of Athens with us. We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Athens who wants to see the city, learn about its history, and enjoy a wonderful Greek dinner.
i ended up being the only person on the tour and paul couldn't have been more wonderful. i learned so much and he had such enthusiasm for his subject matter. the dinner at the restaurant was so good and so was the conversation.
We enjoyed our evening walk around Athens and seeing a lot of sights at a slow relaxed pace. Many of the highlights are covered and the restaurant chosen was delicious and had a lot of options. The only major callout to make was that the tour operator did not drop us back off at the pickup point which could be a problem for some people, and we had to gps our way back to the hotel (5-10 minute walk).
Great tour capped off by a delicious meal with a sociable small group. Highly informative as to Greek history, mythology, and food.
I enjoyed this small group tour, with the tour guide Faye who was very warm and welcoming ! This was my first night in Athens and was a great way to get settled in. Faye was very knowledgeable and informative about Greece’s history and culture, and was very happy to share her culture with us. We also had dinner, at a traditional taverna with delicious food! I recommend this tour 10/10!
If you are looking for a food tour- this is more of a ‘walking’ tour experience. Having been on several food tours all over the world, we were surprised by the amount of history imparted. There was, of course, a dinner which culminated the tour but we were expecting more cuisine along the walk and less history lessons. Perhaps we didn’t read the write up as carefully as we should have. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and sweet, and the fellow travelers were enjoyable.
Faye did an amazing job showing us the city and we had a lot of fun with the group. She showed us some great spots we wouldn’t have found in our own research and went above and beyond the whole tour!
Beautiful tour!! When the Golden Hour came, the city warmed its lights, giving us a spectacular show. Then evening came, and our delicious meal was waiting. 100% recommend!
This was more walking than I expected so be sure to wear good shoes! We saw a lot of things that were not part of any of the bus trips and our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable!! The dinner that was included was outstanding!! Highly recommend!!

This was a wonderful introduction to Athens and our guide Julia was a delight! She has a wealth of knowledge and a bubbly personality. There is quite a bit of walking involved but we finished with a delicious dinner at a family-owned restaurant. We would highly recommend this tour and guide.

A great introduction to Athens. I joined a small group and our knowledgeable guide took us all over the area, explaining the history and significance of what we saw. We covered a lot of ground and used stairs and paths to get to so many interesting places. We finished up with dinner in a nice taverna (so much food!). Thank you for a great experience.
This tour was absolutely amazing, the guide really loved what she did. It was so beautiful overlooking the city at night. The place we went to eat after the tour was the best food we had on our whole 5 day stay in Athens
This was a very enjoyable tour. We saw many of the famous sites, several unique neighborhoods and had an absolutely amazing traditional Greek dinner. This tour was very affordable given the quality and quantity of food we had for dinner.

It was a great introduction to Athens and the history surrounding the city. Our guide, Danai (?) was wonderful!!! I would recommend this to all first time visitors to Athens.
Wear comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking, but this tour is a great way to familiarize yourself with Athens. We had a wonderful guide in Lily who kept the pace nice and easy with great information.
You will start from Syntagma Square, see the changing of the guard, then on into the Syntagma and Plaka areas at the aperitivo hour (an actual time designation in Greece), and on through Plaka past archeological sites of the ancient Agora to the Tissio area for dinner. Our guide Vivian was very knowledgeable and easy to follow, and the meal was delightful, made even more wonderful with the lovely small family that was in our group. However be aware that serious climbing is involved: Plaka is along the steep slopes of the Acropolis; while the climb up was fine, the climb down very narrow and uneven stone stairs, without any railings and even through the outdoor restaurants that make Plaka Plaka, was a somewhat scary experience. So be forewarned; if you have balance issues and/or cannot walk unsupported, this one part might not be for you.
Great tour and restaurant during the cooler part of the day. Sevasti, our guide, was very knowledgeable and walked at a manageable pace. She made everyone in our small group comfortable and we were engaged and interactive. The meal was fantastic and ample. Great conversations in a relaxed atmospheres. I highly recommend this unique tour!
Mirta was knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Wandering the streets of Athens is something everyone who visits should do. This guided tour takes you through some of the highlights of the core neighborhoods if you don't want to strike out on your own.
This is a great walking tour! our guide Lily took us to all the important historical sites and through the very popular shopping areas and then finally to the restaurant areas. We saw many churches Roman ruins , we even saw the change of the guards at the parliament building. we all had dinner together. It was a very memorable evening. I’m so very happy I did this walk.
We were the only ones on the tour, and Fay was amazing! She was very kind, knowledgeable and definitely made our experience walking around Athens enjoyable and worthwhile. She took us to a restaurant that had amazing food! Definitely would recommend her to any and all travelers!

Excellent small group walking tour of central Athens that includes numerous key historical sites. Our guide, Sevi, was very knowledgeable, friendly and had excellent English. Dinner was very enjoyable and we would return for a meal if we had time. It is a lot of walking (especially if you have already done a lot of walking in Athens the same day) - wear good shoes!
