Lots of information. Our tour guide was awesome. I’m sorry I forgot her name. She answered all our questions, very friendly and tailored our tour to what we wanted to see

What a fun first night in Athens. Danai our guide was young, energetic, witty and took to my humor rather quickly. We also met William from Wisconsin that was on the tour with us. What a pleasurable young man. I look forward to hopefully crossing paths with Danai and William again. If you're looking for a great guide in Athens, look no further, request Danai for your waking tour.
Warm Regards,
John

Great way to see areas of Athens you would never find on your own. Dinner was ok… would recommend better spot as we had better food finding local places ourselves.

I wish I could remember the young woman’s name who gave us the tour, but I can’t recall it at the moment. She was an archaeologist by trade, and the tour was amazing—even though we hadn’t booked a private experience on purpose. It turned out to be one of the best things we did. The guide was very friendly, she was punctual, and we were free to go at our own pace. We saw so many things in just one day before our cruise.
I definitely recommend this experience, because as a tourist it would be nearly impossible to fit all of this in on your own. The highlight for me was the authentic dinner she recommended. We wouldn’t have chosen those dishes on our own, but they were 10 out of 10.
I enjoy group tours because they’re a great way to meet people from all over the world, but it was also wonderful not to have a large dinner party. The experience felt very personable, and we were able to wrap up quickly so we could get up early the next morning and prepare for our cruise.

Theo was the most knowledgable guide I have ever met - passionate about his country, city and the tour itself.
Smooth organisation, extensive tour of all the major sites and a few that would be impossible to discover alone.
A really special tour with a meal to match - great food and more expertise from Theo in menu selection.
Do yourself a favour and book this tour - it changed our opinion of the city ( for the better !!)

It is fantastic! Very informative and enjoyable. I discovered parts of Athens that I definitely wouldn't have explored or discovered without the expertise of our tour guide. She is fabulous!

Our guide Athina was outstanding! Starting with the changing of the guards we strolled tand she provided us with history and understanding of the areas we were seeing, ending with a lovely dinner. Great memories of a wonderful evening tour!

George was so knowledgeable about the sites, history, and culture! It was a beautiful way to see the city of Athens during sunset and after. Dinner was delicious and we got to eat as a group and get to know one another!

Our guide, Danae, was truly outstanding. During our walk, we were able to maneuver with ease through some very beautiful areas overlooking the Agora of Athens and the Agora of Rome. From there, Dayae escorted us down to the Thissia region where we had our dinner. At both locations she guided us to the best locations to take stunning photos, including the Acropolis as it was lit up at night.

There’s a lot of walking at a fast pace..Guide is very knowledgeable about the area and meal at the end was delicious. Didn’t get to see the Acropolis as close as we would like.

solid two hours of walking and a decent amount of hills. be prepared and wear good shoes and go to the bathroom before you meet the guide as there are no easily accessible restrooms on the route.

The 2 hour walking tour took us through many interesting parts of the city at a good pace. We then had dinner with our group and were offered choices of appetizers, salads and our main dishes. It was more than plenty of food. Drinks were our own responsibility and were very reasonably priced.
Our tour guide was wonderful - Dinai (sp?). She told stories about history, customs, and chatted with the group. At the end of the evening she planned a walking route away from the restaurant that ensured everyone got on their way in the right direction.
Would recommend the tour.

Danae was a fantastic tour guide. Knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She took us to interesting places and we had a wonderful dinner together with the group. Total of 8 people.

Danais was an amazing tour guide and I’m so glad we had a chance to get to know Athens better with her. This was a highlight of our trip and I strongly recommend it. It is probably the first thing that I would have done had I to do it over again.

Debbie was an awesome guide. She shared personal stories along with a vast amount of knowledge of the island. She was engaging and welcomed questions. Be sure to ask about her mother's opinion of the various islands. Involves a good bit of walking, so wear comfy shoes. We saw and heard about interesting Greek history. Viewing the changing of the guards was amazing. It's a must see. Come hungry - you get A LOT of food at the tavern.

We couldn’t do the walking tour as
my husband injured his knee today earlier so we met for dinner. The table was ready for us as we did get to the restaurant early. We had wine while we waited( we paid for) . When Despina arrived she was very welcoming! A wonderful restaurant with so much food. I was full after the salad and appetizers ( their house salad, stuffed mushrooms- both great) my husband had lamb skewers and I opted for sea bass(additional cost) . Very good. The couple across from us had great conversation! I would complete the tour if we would have been able to walk.

Our tour was incredible. Our private tour guide, Theo was very knowledgeable very friendly. One particular experience, he took us to a spot where we can see the changing of the guard up close.

We had a nice walk around Athens as it started to cool off, and Georgia was always good about stopping in the shade. Georgia was very flexible with us. Our small group consisted of 6 family members, and one of us was a little ill and wanted to skip the walking and meet us at dinner. Georgia helped us order an Uber and notified the restaurant that some of us were coming early, and then she continued the tour with the rest of the family. She connected with each member (we aged from 16 to 70), and she was very knowledgeable about Greek history and culture, and then at dinner, she was a great conversationalist and taught us about the foods too! Georgia was very professional and we would highly recommend her.

Theo was an amazing guide with so much knowledge. He made our experience perfect. We finished with a lovely meal with great company!
Brian_F, Aug 2025
Our guide Katerina made the tour a great experience. We saw streets we never would have traveled by ourselves. Katerina’s knowledge of history and culture added to a wonderful experience. Also, the restaurant and food were super.
Antoinette_R, Aug 2025
It is a great walking tour! You will see places you would not know are the our guides kept a watchful eye on our small group. The dinner at the end was fantastic. I recommend good sturdy shoes. There are steep steps and narrow passages. Keep this in mind. But it was a great evening tour
Leslie_A, Aug 2025
Our guides were fun and showed us parts of Athens we had not seen before. The tour concluded with dinner at a lovely restaurant with excellent food and fellowship.
NATALIA_A, Aug 2025
Tour operators Danae, and Foteini were awesome. We were a group of five and that is a perfect size. They explained the sites we visited, answered any questions and was professional. Dinner was awesome and is completely worth it. You finish all the food.
Diane_G, Jul 2025
Our tour with Athena was amazing! She was so knowledgeable, patient, professional and extremely personable. We enjoyed our private tour with her and loved the restaurant she recommended for us for dinner! Highly recommend her and her company - they exceeded our expectations!
Taryn_W, Jul 2025
Theodore loves Athens and it shows in his personality and tour. He’s very friendly and has a wealth of knowledge about the history of Greece and the ancient world. His walking tour was very enjoyable. There is a lot of walking and stairs on the tour. And at the end a delicious meal to enjoy.
Eric_F, Jul 2025
George was fantastic. We had an elderly member in our group and he kept the pace slow and stopped regularly so she could rest.
