Our group consisted of two adults and two kids (ages 10 & 12). Our tour guide was very friendly, accommodating, and SO knowledgeable. She was excellent with keeping even the kids interested and entertained. She even took family photos, which I am SO grateful for as I never seem to get one of those when we travel. I would definitely recommend the experience to others.

Our guide was knowledgeable, considerate, and thorough. She patiently waited for us to drink water in shady spots. She produced books and pictures to help us understand our surroundings. We are slow walkers but didn't feel rushed

There was a lot of uphill walking. and steps. The humidity and heat complicated the climb plus we took this tour the day we arrived from the US with lack of sleep, etc. Our guide was super helpful in allowing. for rest breaks with time to hydrate using those times to give loads of historical information. Having a licensed tour guide to accompany us and showing us details and answering our questions was very beneficial. I had been to the Acropolis in 2008 on a tour bus with a large number of people and the private tour was well worth the extra cost.

The private tour guide was very nice. We are older and had to walk a little slower given the uneven steps and many stairways, but she was very understanding. She explained the history in detail. After this private tour, I don't think I could do a large group tour again. Thank you Marrissa.

Our guide was excellent, however for the amount of money we spent on not just the excursion but the entrance tickets it wasn’t worth it. We did the Acropolis option with the added Plaka food. It was around $850 for 5 people. When I messaged to ask about a ride from the port to the meeting place they wanted to charge me $100 Each Way! That is definitely taking advantage of tourists since a taxi there and back was around $55 Euros .
The food we had at the Plaka Neighborhood was excellent but the whole thing lasted about 3.5hr and that was with A LOT of breaks in between.

Unfortunately, we are not responsible for the price of tickets for the archaeological sites. We do not offer transfers which you asked for at short notice. We provided a quote with a company offering a professional level service with Mercedes limousines and English speaking experienced drivers and your group was for 5 persons with luggage. Certainly a taxi from the street can be found for a lower price and perhaps with a poorer standard of service.
We feel it is a pity you reviewed us on services we do not provide, but attempted to help you with for your convenience, rather that reviewing us on the good service that you did indeed pay for and was as you have said, very well received by you.
We also note that your tour was for 3 hours, but your guide took into account breaks you had, and so automatically extended your time so you did not feel that the tour was unnecessarily shortened. She was not paid for the additional time but was considerate enough to do that.
We try to make what are tour includes and does not include as clear as possible and for anything extra such as tickets etc we always provide a priced suggestion which you have a choice in.

This was such a great way to learn about the history of Athens and the Acropolis. Yes you can read about this or watch videos... But to have a tour guide share their knowledge is such a different experience. Amaryllis was an AMAZING tour guide. We were extremely grateful to have her share her stories and history with us. I highly recommend this private tour. Lunch in Plaka was also a nice added bonus.

We had been to the Acropolis before and spent our time walking around with a map. It was so much better with Becky because she explained the history and details of what we were looking at while we were looking at it. It was crowded and she could maneuver us through the people to get the best vantage points. It was also nice to be with her in the museum for the same reason. We could have spent hours there wandering around, but she showed us the highlights and explained them while we were there. Then we continued on our own for awhile.
