Anyone who comes to Athens will notice the graffiti tagging however this tour tells you the full history and shows loads of amazing work done by street artists. The tour very much surpassed my expectations, it has been the highlight of my trip to Athens! 😄 My tour guide was fantastic, super friendly and also had a deep knowledge of all the murals and their history and meaning.

I had one of the best street art tours ever with Penelope. She had a great background knowledge of the murals/pieces she showed me and it was a lot of fun to discover the city through her eyes, also to see the less touristic places.

I did not know what to expect, but this tour was really fun and educational. It was also a cool way to explore different parts of the city. We saw multiple street artists’ works, learned about techniques and meanings behind their art, and learned how to identify different artists’ work. Our tour guide also included cultural elements when appropriate. I highly recommend this tour!

Being an urban dweller, a lover of art and history this tour exceeded my expectations.
I can’t give enough high praise to the tour guide Penelope. Her knowledge of the history as it related to the urban street art both politically and historically was incredibly impressive. She not only made the experience educational but also a lot of fun.

We thoroughly enjoyed our street art tour! Greg was knowledgeable, kind, and tailored the tour to our interests. It was so interesting to see the different styles of street art around the city and learn the history and culture of the street art community in Athens. I cannot recommend this tour enough for anyone interested in urban art or art in general!

Katerina was a wonderful tour guide. She promptly met us at the assigned meeting spot (in front of a pastry shop near Monastiraki Square) and introduced herself to our small group of four. Since we all knew each other already, she asked us a few questions so she could learn a little about us and the type of information and art we might be most interested in hearing about and seeing during our tour. She also gave us a quick overview of the route we would be taking on this walking tour as well as a little background about street art vs grafitti.
As we walked, she pointed out many diverse examples of art on the buildings and explained the historical, religious, philosophical, and political meanings possibly linked to these pieces of art. She also encouraged us to share our interpretations. She answered our questions and offered insites about the culture of this city. Since this was our first full day in Athens, she also offered some recommendations about how to have a safe and enjoyable visit.
The entire tour lasted 2 hours and we walked about a mile. For us, the tour ended very near our hotel, so that worked great. There is also a Metro stop there so it is easy to return to another area of the city, if needed.
This was a great alternative to seeing more ruins and a nice way to learn about some of the more current Greek history and local Athens culture. Highly recommend!

We are group of 2 families including 3 kids, means it is very hard to keep their expectations & demands.
Our tour guide, Mr. Greg ( Gregory ) was really do his best to tell us alot of interesting stories behind of the street art, current issue in Athens with passion & love.
Really appreciated for his efforts and it was best trip which I do during our visit in Athens this time.
I highly recommend this trip.

그리스 신화때문에 과거의 이야기에만 집중하기 쉬운 아테네 여행에서 현대 아테네가 가지고 있는 고민과 문제등에 대해서 알수 있는 흥미로운 투어였다.
