Lovely walking tour in sections of Athens you might not usually see. Kaliopi was our guide and she’s a very knowledgeable artist and guide. It went over 3 hours, so we were a bit done by the end, but otherwise a nice time.

Thomas was wonderful. He really showed us the ins and outs of the art tour. He also showed us some of his favorite paintings. After we were all done he sent us a document in an email of his favorite places. So he truly went above and beyond that we weren’t expecting.

Kalliopi was super friendly and knowledgeable. She was able to highlight many pieces of art, educate on different styles, as well as the motivation behind the pieces. The tour wasn't rushed either despite being able to see so much. Highly recommend

This was the trip of a lifetime for four “old” friends, and Greece did not disappoint! Katerina was one of our favorite tour guides! She provided a well rounded experience with an insider’s perspective of the local street artist culture. She wove together history, symbolism, Greek culture and personal insights into an engaging tapestry of vibrant and thought-provoking memories. She addressed the political and cultural significance of the art works using a reflective yet objective approach.
A delightful newlywed couple from Canada joined us and we already have plans to visit each other for football games!
Thank you to Katerina who anticipated and was considerate of our personal needs, whether it was standing in the shade to stay cool or pivoting to take an early bathroom break! This tour is a must-do for the curious traveler.

This was a wonderful and interesting walk through some neighborhoods to see street art. Kalliopi was incredibly knowledgeable about the street art, and was able to give us history and answer our “why’s” to several other questions not relating to the street art.

it was a very good tour with a lot of stories, explanations, meaning and techniques used for the diverse wlrks of street art shown, more than 30 artworks viewed around central Athens, with some i never noticed...

There’s a major difference between graffiti & real “street art”… our walking tour took us thru a few local towns as we viewed art works on the side of building w/ their local & political images. We strolled by shops, stores & bakeries (yummy) as we learned the history of Athens. Highly recommend this tour w/ Kalliaopi.

I had an amazing time with Kalliopi, she speaks loud and clear and she is very passionate not only about street art but also animals, food…she really helped me having a great understanding on the neighbourhoods we walked through, advising some spots too! Enjoyed an excellent tour with Kalliopi. This is a great way to see some non-touristy areas of Athens and as well as the street-art, Kalliopi gave plenty of recommendations on what to do/see/eat/drink in the city. Definitely recommend this tour.

Warmly greeted by our guides, Kalliopi and Thomas, before we set off. The tour took in a wide range of examples of the street art, and included info about the artists, the motivation and reasons behind what the art is about and why it is there. Pace of the tour was great and included a stop for a coffee to refresh. The guides took time to answer questions and provide extra context, and additionally sent a guide about the art we saw after the tour. Definitely recommended.

The guide was excellent and knowledgeable about street art, history, politics, and more. My only complaint is that it was dark by the end of the tour, and it was difficult to see the art. Perhaps start an hour earlier

We went on the street art tour as a group of friends and really enjoyed it. The tour took us through some interesting parts of town and we saw a diverse range of artwork that we might otherwise not have seen. Our guide, Athena was very friendly and provided helpful context on what we were seeing. Very much recommended.

It was a great tour! If you like to see the other part of Athens I really recommend this tour. Kalliopi (Our guide) was incredible, she explained everything with detail and also gave us tips about where to go for cocktails, coffee and food to make our time in Athens even greater.

The guide was friendly and personable but we didn't feel that she was very enthused or knowledgable about the subject and didn't really engage with the five of us on the tour. We would have hoped to have been excited by the works, of which there are many, and to have got a bigger picture (excuse the pun) and would have liked to have heard some interesting back stories about the artists and street art culture of Athens. Instead she just told us the artists' names. We asked questions about certain works she just walked by (I know she couldn't have told us about every single one) but her lack of enthusiasm for the subject made us glad that after 2 hours and 20 minutes of a supposed 3 hour tour, she said "that's it". It wasn't a cheap or free tour and we felt it wasn't at all worth what we paid.
I don't like giving a negative review but it was very disappointing.

I’ll make sure your feedback is passed on to our guide Athina so she can better her performance in future interactions. I hope you will give us another chance and contact us again when you’re ready for your next trip to Athens!
Regarding the total time of the walk, I would like to mention that it is indicative. Given that we are the only group that covers so many areas of Athens, we have calculated 3 hours to cover cases where someone walks more slowly. In addition, especially at this time of year when the weather is very hot, we also make a rest stop halfway around the route. However, if a visitor does not wish to make this stop or if his pace is fast, the total time of the walk is reasonably adjusted accordingly. As for the cost of the walk, as you can see if you look at Viator's list, we are the cheapest and that's to give everyone the opportunity to participate.

What a great experience! I was the only one on the tour, so it felt more like a friend is showing me the not so touristic and more alternative parts of Athens! I loved the streetart and the stories to all the paintings. This tour made me fall in love with Athens even more! I highly recommend this tour!
