Fantastic tour of off the beaten path spots in the heart of Athens.. great way to avoid the crowded tourist spots and enjoy great food from local family owned restaurants and businesses. Our guide was super friendly, funny and well versed in Greek food, its history and overall history of Greece.. the variety of the food was excellent and the quality was superb. All fresh, homemade and sourced in Greece. Highly recommend this food tour.

What a fabulous food tour! Prepare to be stuffed! Go hungry! We have been on many…we typically do one on our day 1 in a new city…makes eating easy. This was a fabulous one! Eleni was so warm, and knowledgeable…a lifelong Athenian. The food was superb, and we went back to 2 locations in the following days! We even ran into Eleni on tour again. 5 stars!

Amazing 😍. Although we don't travel all too much, perhaps once or twice a year, our tendency is to try to book a food tour the first or second night in a new worthwhile city. This stood out as an excellent experience. Elleni (sp?) was a remarkable guide. She was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. She could answer every question thrown at her, even name the street artists and tell us their various backgrounds. She took us to some excellent Greek establishments and introduced us to traditional dishes and tsipouro). A great time was had by all.

Great experience and I’m very glad I did it. As a solo traveler, I like to find ways to meet people and this tour was a wonderful way. I met people from Israel, UK and Germany and they were all so friendly and kind. Dimitri was a great guide and had a love of people, which shined through. If you are considering a food tour, this one can’t be beat!

The experience was great. We arrived late and the tour guide Orestis was amazing. He pinned his live location so we could catch up to the tour and showed us the different foods of Athens. Such a wonderful experience. Our guide Lucas was amazing. Very charming and educational. Each spot we stopped at was delicious but the next to last was the best. An entire meal at a nice sit down restaurant.. so much food that we could not eat dinner that night without

Lucas was an outstanding guide. As a history teacher he was able to offer historical insights of the culture along with tasting great food. The time quickly flew by as we covered a variety of venues. The food covered a wide variety and the wine paired perfectly with the food. Pastries, honey, breakfast treats, deli meats, cheeses, liquor and more which ends with delicious donuts.
You absolutely have to come hungry as there is so much to eat. You see and understand so much more of beautiful Athens with Lucas as your guide. Highly recommend.

Be prepared for a GOOD time. The tasty food and accompanying explanations (wine was offered as well) combined for an unforgettable experience. The range of offerings will please everyone's palate. Our guide, Viktor, was especially kind, addressing everyone by their first names and addressing all questions in a prompt and respectful manner.

Guide was great! Food and wines were good and well thought out. Only downside was that it should have ended with a small shot of Ouzo instead of a small shot of Homebrew which we had had already. Might be more apt to buy some Ouzo if I had a chance to try it.
