Pack lots of water and wear sneakers! Organized and efficient check-in at the Athens Walks office even with all the people. The Acropolis Walking tour with our guide Effie was a great experience. Our guide made quick stops to buy water and go to the bathroom before the tour formally began. Effie was so enthusiastic, informative, and passionate during our tour — a true professional. It is an uneven, slippery at times, and crowded walk (hence sneakers) up to the Parthenon but worth the trek! Learned a great deal about Greek history, the gods, and how it influences our lives today. Definitely would recommend as a great start tour our time in Athens!

This was a good tiur. Only problem was the driver

The bus driver had a cold and was cranky but otherwise it was great. We had masks so hopefully we won’t get sick. The guide was great. The way things were planned out to make the 4 hour drive each way was well done and the venues were stunning. They carried the day. Don’t take the train it is unreliable they say. The lunch was great and well planned

We had an absolutely amazing time exploring Athens with Gus and Paco! They were both incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and made the entire day enjoyable and stress-free. We got to see so many incredible highlights of Athens, including the Acropolis, Parthenon, Panathenaic Stadium, the Changing of the Guards, and so much more. The Greek architecture, history, and beautiful views were truly breathtaking. Gus and Paco did a wonderful job sharing their knowledge and giving us a great understanding of the history and culture behind everything we saw. They were also excellent drivers! Very professional, careful, and attentive throughout the entire tour. We never felt rushed and always felt well taken care of. And to top it all off, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch that was the perfect addition to an already fantastic day! We highly recommend this tour and especially Gus and Paco. If you’re visiting Athens, this is a fantastic way to see the city, learn about its incredible history, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and have a truly memorable experience. Five stars all the way!

The best way to visit the Acropolis

The tour guide was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and professional. I learned so much and value the Acropolis and the museum even more now! The guided tour was so good that I believe it is the best way to visit the acropolis. We would have missed a lot of context without the explanations from the guide. Elina is the BEST!!

Elina is the BEST! She is so savvy at navigating the large crowds at the acropolis while giving lots of interesting context around the historical sites. The itinerary was very good. Our guide Bernie was amazing. Would probably had been great with another guide too. But he made it perfect. Lunch was amazing. We added lunch in the spot ala carte and were accommodated easily. Arochova was also a highlight. I thought it would be boring but was amazing

Must Do

We did the e-bike tour at 5:00 PM, and it was absolutely perfect. The weather was beautiful, and riding in the evening made the experience even more enjoyable. We were able to see so many places that were already on our list, but instead of spending the day walking between them, we got to explore Athens comfortably by e-bike. It was such a fun and easy way to see more of the city in less time! Our tour guide, Chuck, was excellent! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience fun and memorable.

I had a very good time with this tour, and highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The whole trip was excellent. From the moment we were picked up to the moment we got back to our hotel everything was taken care of. The staff communication was excellent and it was a very relaxed day at sea. Food and snacks were plentiful and extremely good.
