"Skip the line" ticket was a waste of time and money. After repeated contacts (text and phone calls) to Viator the guard finally just let me in without a ticket explaining that "third party vendors" resell tickets to multiple people.

I arranged for Audio but there was nobody there at the Museum to install or give instructions how to "handle" it. The museum by itself is nicely equipped with great expositions but without proper guide you havd to be an "Acropogist" to follow and know the facts behind all the objects, sculptures and building sections. Truly disappointed for uncomplete tour experience. You should give timely thorough instructions for digital guide usage in order to truly make this tour worthwhile.

I purchased tickets for a group of us traveling to the Acropolis. I had a personal tour guide I booked on Viator that was fabulous.
However, it was recommended to purchase the museum tickets ahead of time which I did through via not only did the link, not work to get entry into the museum, but Viator is currently not refunding us for our tickets which we had to pay for at entry to the museum after already purchasing them through via tour, which was absolutely pointless apparently.
I am shocked that an app that is seemingly so popular could not refund us or help us out with the situation as the museum helpdesk looked into it as well as the company when I called First experiencing this issue at the museum entry.
It is disappointing to plan an advance for such a wonderful experience in vacation just to have the stress of not being able to access the actual ticket properly. The museum needed a QR code, which was not on the link that I was sent.
I have been in contact back-and-forth from Customer Service with this app and just been given a refusal to refund. Wanderung guides private limited was the third-party who was supposed to supply the tickets. Be wary of this company as we never got our product that we paid $379 for.
Terrible Customer Service.

The museum was closed because of may 1 Labor Day. My credit card was charged and no refund was issued. How can you sell me something that I cannot do?

Very nice facility with many displays. Entry was easy and there is a restaurant and cafe in site. Escalators bring you floor to floor.

Provider emailed HALF of the entrance ticket barcodes. This created confusion and a period of chaos as myself and the museum information booth person problem solved to access our full barcodes. This took almost an hour (frustrated to tears).
I do not recommend purchasing tickets through this provider. Museum staff said they see this all the time and always recommend getting tickets through their website to assure there’s no issues.
Viator shrugged and offered no solutions.

Good way to supplement the Acropolis visit, enjoyed the diversity of the exhibition, with a film on the top floor, small reading area and views on the second floor, and the vast exhibit on the first floor. Didn't enjoy the confusion with the restaurant on the second floor- we went to check out the gift shop and when we tried to continue seeing the museum an over aggressive security officer didn't recognize the Viator ticket since she didn't see the date on it

Allow plenty of time because there are so many things to see and read about. You could probably spend several days or a week. The audio guide is very good and easy to follow. The museum cafe was very pleasant and food was good. The museum is very open and spacious. You can go into the museum store without paying the entrance fee. I’m going back to the store.

Worst experience ever using Viator. Company they use sent us used tickets, Acropolis Museum confirmed the tickets sent us had already been used September 27th, so could not enter. Museum could not help with problem since tickets were bought thru 3rd Party. This is October 22nd. Wasted about 35 precious minutes communicating with company trying to make them understand & resolve. Exasperated finally bought tickets at the Box Office. Waiting for refund from company, if don’t get it will contact Viator and/or Credit Card Company. FYI-Acropolis Museum is great.

We avoided the lines. We just walked up, they scan our ticket and off we went. . We didn’t to do a guide but there was scan which gave us a map to tell us what we were looking at.

This is a more cost effective way of purchasing tickets for the Acropolis museum. Tickets are normally 40 euros. Paid USD33. Plus the lines were long to get tickets. It’s a win-win. Plus if you are traveling with kids, it allows you to skip the line and buy discounted tickets for your kids at 10 euros each.
