This tour is a wonderful mix of history and sight seeing. Our guide Frosso was very knowledgeable and personable, which made our experience much more memorable. Our recommendation would be to take the tour in the morning to try to avoid the large crowds in the afternoon. We could not recommend this tour more!

Walking food tour

The tour was amazing! We got lost on the way to the meeting place, but caught up with the group at the first stop. Our guide was so welcoming and got us up to speed on what we were eating right away. Every stop was an experience. He took us to some interesting places and explained what we were eating/drinking. He was a lot of fun! Since we got lost walking to meet the group he made sure we got a taxi back to our hotel. It was a great group and we had a blast! I would highly recommend doing this tour with Nasos. He was wonderful!! My only complaint/comment is there was too much food!!

The tour itself was great. Alexis with Athenian Tours was awesome! However, I would not buy this tour through Viator again. The purchasing options are VERY confusing on what is and is not included in the tour. Bad experience with Viator, great tour in general

Iliana our tour guide was very informative and great all round knowledge not just on history but culture too. She kept everyone safe and made sure no one was left behind. Driver Panagiotis kept everyone safe also and got us there and back in good time. Sunset was definitely the best part. The volume of people can be overwhelming and paying €20pp to see it was a bit of a disappointing but understand they need to make money

We enjoy the tour on 9-4-26. It's a great way to see Athens from a different viewpoint. We really liked the e-bike because it made it easy to get around quickly. The guide, Carlos, was knowledgeable about the sites; and we appreciated his willingness to share information about greek culture. Great Athens full day tour

We booked the half day Athens Private tour and added Temple of Poseidon so it became a full day tour. Yiannis was our guide and picked us up promptly at at our hotel, in a Mercedes C class. Yiannis was a perfect host for the long day and took us to all the important stops for the whirlwind tour. He was super personable throughout and very informative about the history of the area. I would highly recommend him of you are looking for the right guide. Also a shout out to the office staff for the tour company who arranged for the added tour and advance tickets for the Acropolis.

Day at sea and so much more!

The boat ride was so relaxing and a lot of fun. The stops at the islands were fantastic! It was great to be able to get out and swim in the sea. The crew were exceptional! Very helpful, thoughtful and informative. The lunch on board was delicious! I would highly imagine this experience.

Must See Athenian Experience - context rich!

This excursion requires some physical activity; it's a walking tour from the base of the Acropolis to the pinnacle: the Parthenon. Our guide was well-educated, thoughtful, and had a way of weaving history into vignettes, or stories, to help make the information and explanation more meaningful and vibrant. Penelope added experience, education, and charm that shaped our understanding of the physical monuments and made the experience more relatable. After the Acropolis, we did the museum tour as a group, focusing on art, sculpture, the friezes, and the storytelling of them as former architectural components of buildings that no longer existed. Penny brought it all to life. Kudos for having such a gifted and knowledgeable guide. We were definitely lucky to get her.

Great tour - bus ride could be better .

It was a full day .bus ride was smooth however no ability to charge at our seat but they offered to charge our phones up front . WiFi was spotty - you had to be one of the first to connect or you couldn’t join. Time at the site was great - Great views - loved our tour guide . Audio guide worked well too. Lunch was pretty good . Stops were very nice by water - order ahead of time and food ready . Everything on time . I’d recommend it . Very cool landscape and monasteries

Perfect way to see Athens!

We spent a night in Athens after arriving from a cruise and this was the perfect way to wrap up a magical trip through Europe. We needed transportation from the cruise terminal and also wanted an overview of Athens, this was better than expected. Bill was professional, interesting, fun, and full of great insight and details about the city. We felt like we had an insider’s view of the city, plus he knew exactly where to park so we’d have minimal walking to cool sites, and timed our stop perfectly by the President’s house so we could watch the changing of the guards. He treated us like a visiting relative, not just another client for the day – much appreciated after over two weeks of travel! We also included a visit to the Acropolis (highly recommended!) but the lines for the museum ended up too long so we skipped that option. Bill also took us through Plaka on the way back to our hotel, which gave us a good overview so we could later walk over from our hotel and enjoy that part of the city. Definitely recommend this for those coming in from a cruise! And special thanks to Bill for your patience, kindness and hospitality!
