Pickup Locations: We offer pickup from any location within a 15 km radius of Athens city center, including Piraeus Port. If your hotel is outside this area, we will contact you upon receiving your booking to inform you of any additional cost. Port Pickup: At Piraeus Port, your driver will meet you at the ship’s terminal with a sign showing your name. They’ll also reach out ahead of time to make meeting easy. Hotel Pickup: For hotel or accommodation pickups, your driver will meet you at the entrance. They’ll also reach out as soon as they arrive. Airport Pickup: Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign displaying your name for easy recognition. Please provide your flight number so we can track your arrival and be at the correct terminal. They’ll also contact you as you land to ensure a smooth and easy meeting. Great private tour with very detailed information by tour guide Dem! The one-on-one interaction with a private car is the only way to go! Dem did a great job of describing each of the sites and was obviously very well versed in Greece's history. His lunch recommendation was spot on and right across the street from the Acropolis Museum. We would highly recommend this tour.

Aristotle was a well-spoken, wonderful tour guide who went out of his way to give us a spectacular tour of the city. It was quite obvious that he loves his job because of the enthusiasm and energy he displayed throughout the day . His knowledge of the history of the city, as well as his education in archeology, gave us insights to the history of Athens. At several locations, he identified the spot where we should stand in order to get the perfect picture. He was correct every time and now we have some unique photos that we will always treasure. His warm personality and friendliness, along with his professionalism and expertise, made an ideal day for both of us. Out of all the tours we’ve been on over the years, Aristotle was the best tour guide we’ve ever had and we give him the highest recommendation

Private tour with many options on how you want to experience Athens. Our driver Dennis was funny knowledgeable and extremely helpful in every way. We went with is recommendations which were dead on...no waiting on line, and lesser crowds. Vidts a bit more but well worth it.

Aristotle was EXCELLENT!!! He was a reliable, welcoming, well-informed, and competent guide for our Athen's full day tour. His past experiences from his educational background, his being part the royal guard, and his love of Greece and Athens made us feel that our experience in Athens was authentic and gave us a true understanding of this vibrant city. We were blessed to be part of his tour.
This comment is no reflection on the tour itself. We would that Viator clarify the part that discusses lunch in the tour. We misunderstood and thought lunch was included. Maybe revise to say time will be allocated during time for participants to buy a lunch at a recommended restaurant.

An incredible way to see Athens! We don’t like big bus tours and this was exactly what we were looking for. Nasos met us right at the port for our private tour. He was friendly and knowledgeable and shared information in an interesting manner. This was way more than just a “dates and facts” tour, this was like having a friend in the city give you a tour for the day. What a wonderful experience! Highly recommend! We take lots of private tours, and this was one of the best! A day to remember!

Nicely paced tour that navigated around the somewhat long ticket lines. Our young guide Dionisis, a former palace guard, was friendly, funny, and fact-filled. Van was comfortable and its AC worked well. Pickup and drop-off at our hotel was an added perk. Strongly recommend.

Nasos our driver was amazing and we so enjoyed the entire day! I would highly recommend him! It was a great day!
What an incredible day! We were lucky enough to have Andreas as our tour guide. His love for this City showed and his knowledge of everything Athens was appreciated.
My husband has health issues and he adapted to our needs.
We seen the changing of the Guards ceremony, Acropolis, Parthenon, Temple of Athena and so much more.
We had wanted to see St George Chapel on Mount Lycabettus and Andreas made sure we had a beautiful view.
I highly recommend this excursion to anyone who would like a private tour of Athens. And if your lucky enough to get Andreas even better.

Oh, my goodness. You have got to book this adventure. Aristotle was the most passionate, patient, efficient guide we have ever had for anything we have done. I felt like had a tour with a family member. He was constantly asking us if we were going too fast while walking, if we were cool enough, if we understood what he was saying, etc. He is very easy to understand and has a vast English vocabulary. He is proficient in the language. He was always thinking ahead to decide where the best spots were for pictures, shade, and the best views. He even had some surprise stops for us at the end that were some of our favorites!! DO NOT MISS THIS TOUR!! In a 1 out of 5 stars, Aristotle was a 10!!
One of the highlights of our two week trip to Italy and Greece. We opted to add a licensed guide to the tour that would go with us into the Acropolis and the Agora. Definitely worth the extra cost. We were met by our guide, Aristotelis, who also narrated the other sites that we saw that day. We spent considerable time in the Acropolis and the Agora and he had a large amount of information and various pictures, maps and other info that he would bring up on his table to show us further information about each element of the site. It was great to be shown around by someone who is knowledgeable, passionate, and proud of his city and his country’s heritage. Felt more like a family member showing us around Athens, rather than a tour guide. Highly recommend.
As a solo traveler visiting Athens, I initially didn't realize that my museum tour would be a private experience. Looking back, I'm so glad it was. Spending the day one-on-one with Dem turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of my trip.
Dem is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about Athens' rich history. His storytelling brought each site and museum to life, providing historical context and fascinating details that I would have never discovered on my own. He was attentive throughout the day, patiently answered all of my questions, and tailored the experience to my interests.
What impressed me most was how efficiently the day was planned. We completed the entire itinerary nearly two hours ahead of schedule, which gave us the opportunity to add another museum to the tour. That extra experience was an unexpected bonus and made an already exceptional day even better.
Beyond his expertise, Dem also provided wonderful recommendations for other places to visit, eat, and explore during my stay. His local knowledge was invaluable and helped me make the most of my time in Athens.
I cannot speak highly enough about Dem and the entire team. The service was seamless, personalized, and exceeded every expectation. Spending a full day immersed in the history, culture, and stories of Athens while creating lasting memories was truly a remarkable experience.
I would absolutely book another full-day tour with Dem on a future visit and highly recommend this team to anyone looking for an informative, engaging, and first-class Athens experience. It was worth every moment and remains one of my favorite memories from Greece.
We had a good trip with our guide in a clean vehicle. The info we were given was great and a good way to spend a first day in Athens to get a feel for the city and see some of the main sites.
Aristotle was an amazing tour guide! We got to see all the things we hoped to see and more and the insight Aristotle shared along the way made the experience wonderful! Getting to see the changing of the guards was one of the highlights and was even more special when we learned that Aristotle used to be one of the guards.
Above and beyond any other guided tour. Nasos was phenomenal. Eight hours flew by. His love and enthusiasm for Greece is inspiring. His recommendations were 5 star. We didn't want the day to end not just because of the experience but because we just made a friend that we did not want to stop spending time with. Highly recommend this tour and Nasos.

A very ordinary service. A somewhat skimpy treatment outside the usual tour site suspects for this important city
My daughter and I wanted to experience Athens and surrounding areas up close and personal for a few days. Fortunately, we had Nasos as our private tour guide/driver. We are history buffs and love visiting UNESCO sites, eating at Michelin-rated restaurants, and travel efficiency is our top priority. Nasos fulfilled all of our expectations. He was a gentlemen, nice, considerate, personable, and so much fun to be with! I have a friend who came to Athens twice last year. After I tell my other friends about our trip, more might travel to Athens. We are so satisfied and are happy campers with a lifetime of experiences we will never forget.
