Pickup Locations: We offer pickup from any location within a 15 km radius of Athens city center, including Piraeus Port. If your hotel is outside this area, we will contact you upon receiving your booking to inform you of any additional cost. Port Pickup: At Piraeus Port, your driver will meet you at the ship’s terminal with a sign showing your name. They’ll also reach out ahead of time to make meeting easy. Hotel Pickup: For hotel or accommodation pickups, your driver will meet you at the entrance. They’ll also reach out as soon as they arrive. Airport Pickup: Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign displaying your name for easy recognition. We had a great experience on this tour! Aristotle was exceptional - raised in the area, he provided the kind of authentic 'inside knowledge' you just can’t get from a guidebook. He was incredibly kind, efficient with our time, and ensured we saw the highlights without feeling rushed. Beyond the tour itself, he went above and beyond to give us fantastic local recommendations our trip.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Full-Day Athens Tour with Elias
We had an excellent full-day private tour of Athens with Elias and would highly recommend both the tour and Elias as a driver and guide. Although he arrived about 10 minutes late due to heavy port security, he kept us informed the entire time with text updates, which we really appreciated.
From the start, Elias tailored the day to our interests, especially our love of great views, and adjusted the itinerary along the way to make sure we saw what mattered most to us.
We started at the Acropolis early to try to beat the heat and the tour groups. It was still busy, but absolutely worth it.
As a lifelong Athenian, Elias shared fascinating insights about the city and its history throughout the day. One unexpected highlight was watching the Changing of the Guard ceremony, which he made sure we caught. It was a wonderful surprise and something we might have missed otherwise.
He also took us to an outstanding local spot for gyros and even helped us get settled and understand the menu before giving us space to enjoy lunch. He offered several great restaurant recommendations near our hotel for the rest of our stay as well.
By the end of the day, we were pretty tired and decided to finish a little early. Elias was completely accommodating and focused on making sure we had the best experience possible. This truly felt like a full day of sightseeing, personalized to our interests from start to finish.
Highly recommend this tour and especially Elias if you're looking for a knowledgeable, flexible, and genuinely helpful guide in Athens!

Due to heavy and complicated traffic, I highly recommend a private tour in Athens. Nasos, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to navigate the city efficiently and safely so that we saw everything we wanted to. We even had time for a special coffee and gelato at the end. Nice guide. Informative tour.

We booked a full day private tour in Athens. Have never been to Europe b4 this trip. Our driver / tour guide - Dem - was phenomenal! Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Gave us great tips on how to navigate the Acropolis as well as the museum later in the day. Enjoyed hearing all of the history as we hit multiple landmarks. My husband & I had questions throughout the day which he answered with ease.
We choose a seafood restaurant for lunch in Little Port which was great food. He recommended having a specific Greek fine wine with lunch. We enjoyed both - the fresh catch of the day and the wine! At our request, he even tracked down a liquor store for us on the way back to our hotel to purchase a bottle!
Highly recommend doing a private tour!

We had a perfect day in Athens with Nassos, our driver/guide. After picking us up at the cruise port we headed to the Acropolis to try (unsuccessfully) to beat the heat and crowds. However Nassos dropped and picked us up directly at the entry point and treated us to homemade spanakopita to keep our energy up! Next to the Ancient Agora and museum, a drive through Plaka for graffiti, a stop at the Panathenic Stadium and a local art shop. We also saw the changing of the guard ceremony at the Presidential mansion. The highlight was a fresh seaside seafood lunch at Spaggos in Mikromilano. Best grilled calamari ever! Definitely recommend the full day Athens tour with Nassos.

Aristotle was absolutely amazing!!! He had so much knowledge and experience to share, asked questions to keep us engaged. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide to Athens. From the moment we met Nasos, it was clear that he genuinely loves sharing his city, his culture, and his country with visitors.
His knowledge of Athens, Greek history, and mythology was incredible, but what made the experience truly special was the way he brought everything to life through stories, humor, and personal insights. He shared pieces of his own history, his love for his family, and his passion for Greek traditions, which made us feel less like tourists and more like welcomed guests.
We especially appreciated that he took us beyond the usual tourist stops and introduced us to places and experiences we never would have discovered on our own. His recommendations for local food and hidden gems added so much to our visit and gave us a deeper appreciation for the authentic spirit of Athens.
By the end of the tour, we felt like we had not only learned about Athens but had gained a friend. Elias was a great guide. We liked that he explained the information to us but then we were able to explore it on our own. He also had a book for us to use at the stops that gave more information if needed. Overall it was a great time and went smoothly.

We had an unforgettable day on our tour! Nasos was the absolute best guide. So knowledgeable, kind, accommodating, and flexible with a true love and appreciation for Greek history, culture, food, etc. We ended up extending our full day tour and Nasos took us to the Temple of Poseidon at sunset. Our guide Aristotle and driver made a great day .....amazing!! His knowledge, passion and levity made this a truly unique and extremely enjoyable experience. Not only does he have a degree in the topics discussed, he also served his country and was a Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Presidential Mansion. A fine young man, great orator and a proud father to be. You will not get a tour like this on a big bus. It was worth every penny, and I would highly recommend this private tour, especially with Aristotle. From the time he greeted us to our departure, the tour was packed with detailed history at every stop without a minute wasted. By far the best tour in our 17 day journey!!! We had a nice day and enjoyed our guide’s company throughout the tour. We were expecting a more guided experience at sites such as the Acropolis and Ancient Agora, with our guide accompanying us and sharing historical details along the way. Instead, he provided a helpful overview in the car, along with a booklet, before dropping us off to explore independently.
We understand that parking can be challenging in Athens, and much of his time was spent managing the vehicle while we visited the sites. Because of this, the experience felt more transportation-focused than we had anticipated when booking.
A highlight of the day was seeing the changing of the guards, where our guide shared some great information and context. Overall, it was an enjoyable way to see many of Athens’ major attractions in a single day, especially for visitors with limited time.

Alexander was an absolute pro! Having pick up and drop off at the entrance to each exhibit - tickets handled - and exceptionally good greek history (and mythology) - everything was A+! Our kids (10 & 12) were VERY engaged - they were eyes & ears on Alexander the full duration of our tour. I cannot say enough good things about our tours of the Parthenon, Agro, the tomb of the unknown soldier, the Temple of Hephaestus, Temple of Nike, and so much more. I would highly recommend for families and tourists who want to pack a great mix of activities into one day!

Our tour guide, Andreas, was wonderful! Went to the Acropolis before picking us up and bought our entry tickets. That way once we got there we didn't have to wait in line. Although the guide is not allowed to go into the site with you, he explained where we would want to go, and what we should be sure to see. When we were done, he tok us to the Acropolis Museum, again letting us know how best to enter, and what to see. Then he drove us to a great restaurant for lunch, where he had made reservations for us. Probably a great idea since everywhere seemed to be full. We drove around the city, exploring where the first modern Olympics were held and other places. Lastly we went to the changing of the guards at the Presidential Palace where he gave us background on the ceremony and the soldiers. Andreas is really personable and accommodating - ask for him to be your guide!

It was such a great experience, seeing Athens through the guidance of a young man who was born and raised in the city. Ilias was so good to us, thorough, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. It was like hiring a friend for a day who just so happened to know his way around. We all really enjoyed the entire day. He made the day eventful, broke it up well, and shared details that felt personal and attentive. We had four guides in four cities on our trip, and Ilias by far our favorite! We won’t soon forget him.
