Great tour all over Athens. Aristotle was very knowledgeable in history and cover everything for us and answered all questions. You can tell he loves his job. Best guide we have had. Would recommend Viator for this tour.

Aristotle was an amazing tour guide! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable of the city and its history, he was a great communicator and kept us entertained throughout the day adding his personal experiences to enhance our enjoyment. I also can’t fully express how friendy and helpful Aristotle was. As a family of six with some mobility issues, we were amazed by his enthusiasm and ability to help us to see everything as efficiently as possible. I can’t recommend Aristotle highly enough!

Our tour guide was the absolute best. Dionisis is a history major and an archaeologist and is so knowledgeable. He is also a great storyteller, I was mesmerized by what he was teaching us. The pace was never rushed and always on our time. Loved learning all the details about the changing of the guards.

Fantastic Tour

Dennis was a fantastic and well informed tour guide. At every stop, he explained the history and what to look for in the archaeological sites. He took us to a couple of off the beaten sites that were phenomenal. When booking ask for Dennis and you’ll have a great time.

This is a great way to start your time in Athens. With Aristotle’s as your guide you cannot go wrong. Not only is he extremely knowledgeably about the area, Aristotle brings a personal touch from life experiences. He knows all the best spots away from the crowds. He is also good with kids keeping them engaged in conversation. Worth every penny. I left his tour a lot more knowledgeable and left us with the want to come back to explore more. This is the best way to see a little bit of everything in Athens in one day. Our guide, Aristotle, was born and raised in Athens and is able to show you the best highlights of the city. Aristotle has a background in history and archaeology, so he is able to bring the historical portions of your tour fully to life for you. He really elevated our experience and was able to show us and teach us so many things while also taking us to the best photo spots and being our photographer. (We got so many great photos!)

We had a full day tour with Aristotle. Both my husband and I agree that this was the BEST tour we have ever experienced. Aristotle was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and just plain fun. Athens Private Tour - Outstanding

Our guide was outstanding! We only had one day in Athens. There were a lot of places we wanted to visit. Our "local" guide provided a good information with background on the history of Athens. We were able to complete our checklist visiting a couple of additional recommendations from the guide. Finished up the day having dinner at a restaurant on the sand in a small harbor. An excellent recommendation from the guide. What a terrific day!

Seeing Athens Through Nasos’ Eyes

Our tour of Athens with Nasos exceeded all our expectations. For us, it was an experience of a lifetime. My husband and I have traveled extensively in our 80+ years but never met anyone more knowledgeable and proud of his country and heritage. One can study history, teach and pass it along; however, for Nasos it is a passion that cannot be taught. It is who he is. To have the opportunity to learn from him is something we both treasure. Having mobility issues, my comfort and safety were priorities. He communicated perfectly the logistics of the day and was easily available, taking into consideration what our objectives were. Our time at the Acropolis was perfectly timed and easily accessible. Each part of the tour was memorable because he gave us the opportunity to see Athens through his eyes. What a gift! The tour will end but you won’t be quite the same having experienced this amazing tour with Nasos and the gratitude for what the Greek culture means to our lives today. Thank you, our friend.

Visiting ancient Athens was a travel dream come true and being guided by Aristotle felt unbelievably lucky. Unusually good tour from an unusual insider

We just finished our all-day Athens tour and it was excellent! Aristotle took us to the usual sites like the Parthenon. He’s the rare combination of certified tour guide (who can guide inside the grounds of places like the Parthenon) and driver (since it seems most certified guides don’t also do this sort of tour). But the most remarkable part of the tour came when we saw the changing of the guard. He’d promised a surprise, but this was a biggie: he has photos and a video of himself serving in that elite role during his compulsory service a few years ago,including at a presidential inauguration. So he could tell us every detail about serving there, explain their interesting uniforms, etc. He was really informed about all aspects of Greek history, having studied history and archaeology himself. When we went to the Acropolis museum (as a replacement for a site that was closed for the day), he could point at the relic he’d had to document as part of his certification. We can only give 5/5 stars, but this is one of our top tour experiences anywhere.

Aristotle Tour Guide Review: Aristotle is an incredibly passionate tour guide. He truly loves his country, as well as its history and culture. He gave us the tour from the bottom of his heart. He was also very kind and patient. He was engaging, and I found it fun participating even as someone who is quiet. He was also very polite to my grandmother who had also tagged along. As a person who particularly enjoys learning about different countries and their history, I found this tour especially fun. He informed us about interesting things, and he even showed us secrets spots such as a nice, hidden spot where we could watch the exchange of the presidential guards privately with the minimum amount of people, showing how well he knows the country. He was incredibly helpful, letting us look around and enjoy Greece ourselves. He is fluent in English, and it was easy to communicate with him because there wasn’t any language barriers. He brought us to hidden gems with incredible views, and he helped us take our family pictures too! The pictures were all very good, so you can rest easy about capturing those moments with your loved ones and friends! He is actually an archaeologist, so for those of you who want to learn hard facts, you can count on him. He speaks facts and always tells the truth, so you don’t have to worry about being told the wrong thing. He’s always punctual, and he waits patiently for us if we’re taking some time. He has the best food recommendations! I genuinely recommend Aristotle as a tour guide, and I hope you will enjoy your time travelling! (I’m a twelve-year-old by the way, and I love history like I said. Because I’m twelve, I don’t get some of the political things and views from back then. However, Aristotle explained them in such a way that it was so easy for me to understand!)

Aristotle’s exceptional knowledge brought every stop on our Athens tour to life, and nowhere was this more clear than during the Changing of the Guards. Before we even arrived, he hinted that we were “in for a surprise,” building excitement while explaining the deeper meaning of the ceremony and the role of the guards. Once we reached palace and the change unfolded, his behind‑the‑scenes understanding of the uniforms, choreography, and symbolism meant we were not just watching a ritual, but truly appreciating a powerful piece of Greek history and tradition that most visitors completely miss. Aristotle was a fantastic guide, truly enjoys what he does and it shows. Super knowledgeable about every aspect of the tour. I booked this as I did not have much time in Athens and didn’t feel like planning and this tour hit EVERYTHING. Never felt rushed anywhere, always was prepped with great background info from Aristotle and felt like I moved along at my own pace which was great. I would 100% recommend, great guy and a great way to take the city in.
