Super cool canyoneering experience with Javan our guide. Not sure I really knew what we were getting ourselves into but we spent 1/2 day with Javan who was encouraging, kind and super safety focused as we traversed the Tanque Verde Canyon. We did 3 repels that were increasingly higher and the hike was about 4 miles in a gorgeous saguaro-filled canyon. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to be outdoors, do something to push themselves a bit and see gorgeous scenery. I wish I had sneakers that griped better...but all in all it was a great morning.

Our guide, Jake, was terrific. Very knowledgeable and gave us an extraordinary experience. Wish this was actually at Mt Lemmon but Tanque Verde was beautiful!

This was a fantastic experience! The waterfalls weren’t running, but it’s still a really cool area to explore. Javen is a wonderful guide- patient & thorough. I had never rappelled before and he expertly walked me through it. Definitely outside my comfort zone, but I had a lot of fun and made some great memories. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to give canyoning a try.

I was lucky to get JC as my guide today. To say he was amazing, doesn’t even begin to give him the accolades he deserves. He was patient and encouraging with me. This was my first time climbing and rappelling and he made me feel confident and safe. If you are deciding if you should do this tour or not- you will not be disappointed! Pick it. Take the chance because you are in great hands with a ton of experience with JC.

This activity was a lot of fun. I was a little intimidated at the beginning because I had never done anything similar before, but Javan was great at explaining the equipment, techniques, taking pictures and had extensive knowledge of the area.
After repelling, climbing and repellig the 40 feet climb again, I still had plenty of time left in the tour. I decided that this was enough climbing for the day, so Javan was nice enough to guide me through a hike for the rest of the time. This was great as the views are breathtaking!!

Our guide, Ben, was super friendly and started us off with an awesome repel. We then did two climbs on fairly uncomplicated routes. Ben helped, not just by belaying us, but pointing out helpful holds and reminding me that he had the rope, which helped my confidence. Then it was on to Hitchcock, which was way harder, but totally worth it. We got some great pics at the top, and you can’t mistake how stoked we were! To finish the day we repelled down a much bigger rock, and that was a great capstone to the day. Ben was super chill all day and even taught us about canyoneering techniques since we weren’t able to hit the canyons due to water levels. I would confidently climb with Ben any day and would recommend this trip 10/10. Thank you!

It was amazing everything: location, guide, weather, instructions, experience. We had an absolute blast. The guide, Jake, was friendly, professional and fun. We spoke, climbed and enjoyed this activity to its 100%. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. If you have never done it before, it is worth trying.

Ben was simply incredible. Knowledgeable, fun and patient. My family of 4 did a half day canyoneering trip and we can’t recommend Ben or the experience more. We were all novices and Ben took the time to walk us through each decent and challenged us appropriately. We had a blast. Amazing experience!

Great time was had by our whole group. I didn’t think I was capable, but Ben, our guide, is super chill, very patient, and talked us up each pass, and, to my surprise, I made it up each time. It was likely my son’s best birthday adventure to date.

My teenage son and I really enjoyed the half-day canyoneering and rappelling experience. Javan was an excellent guide— friendly, knowledgeable and definitely dedicated to high safety standards.
Trip itself was physically challenging, but nothing an experienced hiker couldn’t handle. We had never rappelled before, but we progressed from a 5 foot drop to a 90 foot descent over the course of the day. It’s a little scary the first few times you leap, but definitely a great bucket list experience.
The one small criticism is that it takes a long time for a solo guide to set up the restraints and ropes for each descent or crossing. We definitely appreciated that Javan was so thorough and careful, but it does make for a good deal of stopping and waiting before each jump.
Overall, would definitely recommend and go back.
