We only pick up from within the town of Seward. Our shuttle driver will call when they are at the location if they do not see your party.

For those traveling with a vehicle our tours depart from our office location at 2210 Airport Road. It is very easy to find and only a few minutes drive from downtown Seward, we have free parking to the front and side of our building.

End point

This activity ends back at the meeting point.

Itinerary

On arrival at the airport in Seward, meet your pilot for a brief orientation, then board your helicopter with a small group. Your pilot provides a radio headset that allows for communications during the flight.

Take off and head towards the Godwin Glacier, taking in the dense forest of Kenai Fjords National Park during the 15-minute flight. Pass over Resurrection Bay on the way to the Godwin Glacier, getting great views of floating icebergs below you and snow-capped mountains in the distance.

After your pilot lands the helicopter near the glacier, you'll have 15 minutes to snap photos of Alaska's majestic natural beauty and soak in the pristine atmosphere before re-boarding the helicopter for the return flight to Seward.

Due to FAA regulations, weight restrictions apply, there is a 290lb weight limit per seat, including everything going in the helicopter with guests. There is also an overall weight limit, if your group of 2 or 3 individuals, exceeds 550lb, please call our office to complete your booking. Misrepresented weights may result in the inability to do the tour without reimbursement.

From beginning to end it was such a memorable experience. Tanner was such a pleasure to have as a pilot. This has been my first time visiting Alaska as my fiancé is from here and we are from Texas. The views here have been incredible however it doesn’t compare to the sights we seen through this helicopter tour! The glacier was just spectacular and the phots we got, along with Tanner’s help taking them, are moments that will stick with us forever! If y’all are thinking of doing this for your first time, don’t! Just do it! You definitely won’t regret it!

Yes I was able to get a look at a glacier up close but I was rather disappointed with the lack of beautiful blue color of the ice that shows up in crevices. I was comparing this glacier to another one my friend went to. The helicopter ride was fantastic and our pilot, James, went out of his way to make our experience fun and exciting. The views from the air were spectacular!

Awesome helicopter tour!

Truly awesome experience!! We all were in awe!! The guide (Pilot) was fantastic and made us feel relaxed and informed. My sister was really nervous on going and was gonna stay behind and not go. We talked her into going and she loved it. She thought we were gonna land on the glacier and that it would be really slippery. We landed next to the glacier and it was dry and just rocks. This was something we all will do again. I would definitely want to do a longer one. Thank you for a memorable experience!!

We had to switch to flying over Bear Glacier instead of landing on the other glacier because of weather but it was really fantastic! We didn’t want to miss the experience and we glad they were able to work something out (because of weather). The flight was fun and the different perspective from flying over the glacier was very cool. We saw a black bear and multiple sea lions. The pilot ensured we all got great views. Highly recommend!

It was amazing! It felt like we went to north pole. Lorenzo the helicopter pilot was an amazing person. Very friendly and knowledgeable nice guy. Also, the you g lady who was taking care of the dogs was so brave and friendly to stay there in this cold. Overall we had an amazing experience. Also, Lorenzo was so knowledgeable and was telling us about all different sceneries that we were seeing in the helicopter

I saw a momma bear with her cub and the pilot turned around and took us right over by them. He was just amazing!!! His name is Cody Bryant. I 100% recommend this to everyone traveling to seward!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience, never been on a helicopter ride before so I was nervous but Cody our pilot was exceptional and we felt totally. Forrest our escort and orientation person completely informed us on what to do and how to behave around the aircraft and was exceptionally personable. Would highly recommend this adventure for anyone coming to Seward. It’s more than just a tour it was an adventure!! S.

Our Glacier landing was scheduled for 11am and it was raining and cloudy, but the excursion left on time and my daughter and I are glad it did. We had a GREAT time. The ladies in the office were friendly and even helped us decide where to eat afterwards. The pilot was informative and professional. Since it was raining hard at the glacier we only stayed for about 10 minutes but the pilot took the extra time to fly us around a little longer on the way back to the airport. We say three bull moose and several other animals. It was my daughters first helicopter flight and she loved the front seat view. We could not have had a better time.
