Chad is a wealth of information. His animated way of telling stories is entertaining as well as informative. We learned a lot, had a number “Oh Wow” moments on some facts that he shared. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and we couldn’t see many stars. However, he showed us and explained so much through the use of his computer, I can’t wait for a clear night so that I can actually see all we learned. A lot of it was truly fascinating even with the clouds. Incidentally, he offered a refund to anyone that felt the cloudy night ruined the presentation. We did not take him up on that. This guy has clearly done his research and it’s a privilege to receive a well thought out summary of years of study.
There are no bathrooms be sure to go before you go. And dress warm!!!
Guide was extremely knowledgeable,
funny & had a great passion for the skies. Would definitely recommend tour to others.

The night sky in Sedona is so beautiful. Chad’s knowledge of the history and stories behind the constellations actually made them easier to spot. He was also very friendly and entertaining. One of my favorite tours. Seeing the Milky Way was so special

It gets cold after the sun sets. Blankets are provided. Fun and entertaining. Sedona is an International Dark Sky - we could see hundreds of stars! Way more than from my back yard. Highly recommend watching the sun set and the stars appear.

Guide was great and enjoyable, but I would have liked to hear more on astronomy and less astrology. What is a shooting star? For instance.
Amazing experience. I thought I knew alot about the galaxy but learned even so much more! Awesome tour, beautiful and relaxing.

The coordinator for this was the ultimate hippy. A little disorganized and scattered.
There was an elaborate set up of props, which were a little hooky. He had a TV setup but never turned it on.
We attended The Night Sky Star Story, Galaxy, and Sedona Story Tour and had a mixed experience. The setup was thoughtful—string lights, semi-circle seating, blankets, and hand warmers—and the dusk sky backdrop was beautiful.
However, the tour started late while waiting for another attendee, and the guide’s delivery felt unfocused. While Chad seemed knowledgeable about Greek myths and Native American stories, his presentation was scattered and at times hard to follow, with a fair amount of filler. A few attendees even appeared to fall asleep.
Overall, a nice setting, but the execution made it difficult to stay engaged.
Chad was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot!!! The stars were beautiful. Very entertaining and educational

A little science, a little woo-woo, a beautiful night. Chad is lively and entertaining. It was a good time.
Wonderful view of the night sky! Little to no clouds. Was a cold evening but a blanket and hand warmers were provided. Learned about the constellations and stories about them .
I read all the reviews after I had purchased this experience and I wish I had cancelled. Chad spent way too much time talking about inane stuff and not enough about the stars or Sedona. Not what I was expecting at all. I really wanted to leave after 15 minutes but it wasn’t until a family of six left early that I got the gumption to leave also.
Fantastic experience. Chad was engaging and fun, and it was a perfect night to see the stars, learn about the constellations, and see the milky way.

What a fantastic evening! Chad Graf is an impactful and engaging storyteller!
The event was very interactive with Chad taking time to get to know his audience. It was also very comfortable, even on a chilly evening, thanks to the blankets and handwarmers he provided.
I thoroughly enjoyed the way he weaved together Greek mythology, Native American lore and science. From the Easter Bunny to Kokopelli to Walt Disney, Chad kept us engaged the entire evening.
He also explained how the solar system's orbital plane intersects with the galactic equator. This is the first time I have been able to really visualize how this intersection affects which constellations we see through the year. He did it in five minutes using two hula hoops!
Thanks for a wonderful evening Chad! I'll be repeating this adventure the next time I'm in Sedona!

This was a very enjoyable experience. The chairs were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and hand warmers. The night wasn't completely clear although there were plenty of openings in the sky to give us lots to see and learn about. Our guide was enthusiastic and informative.

I guess if you knew very little about Astronomy and you had young kids you might be okay with it. We left early (an hour into it) but not that informative. Kids
Might like silly jokes and being outside under blankets.
A lot of fun, be prepared to participate. Chad was interesting and very knowledgeable, we had a great clear night and learned a lot!

Chad provides all of the things you need for a great experience, even if the clouds never clear the sky. Unfortunately, on our night, the clouds hung around but Chad still entertained us for 2 hours and helped us learn more about the night sky by discussing the Milky Way and the universe's "equator." Using an app on his phone connected to a TV, we were still able to see the constellations he discussed. At one point, Jupiter was bright enough to show through the clouds, but alas, no other celestial objects could be seen. Expect lots of laughs and a little audience participation.
PS - Chad offers a full refund if the sky is cloud covered. You can attend the entire presentation and still request a refund however we felt that was unnecessary because even with cloud cover, Chad was entertaining and we had a lovely time sitting outside.

The weather during our activity this night was not the best. It was cloudy and lightly sprinkling, but we had an awesome time. The guy that gives the tour is hysterical and so entertaining. He was knowledgeable, an amazing storyteller, engaging and not at ALL "quirky" lol. He brought blankets, chairs and handwarmers and made the evening so cozy for the viewers. He also allows refunds at any point in time, even if you go the entire time he'll give you a refund. Even though we didnt get to see the stars that night, the evening was so fun! He also had a laser pointer to point out constellations while he was telling stories, it is well worth the money.

Definitely recommend this to anyone interested in astronomy, astrology, history, or Sedona in general! Chad did an excellent, engaging, and thorough job explaining the stories behind the different constellations, their connection to different cultures, and how they move across the sky. We also had had warmers and blankets provided, which made the Sedona night very comfortable. Chad also reached out before the tour to discuss potential weather concerns (& ultimately even with some clouds, I’d still do this tour again). Can’t recommend enough!

At this time of year, make sure to wear gloves and bring a stocking cap. Hand warmers and blankets were provided (which were greatly appreciated). The combination of story telling and factual formation (and humor) made for an extremely nice experience. Soooooo glad we took this tour.
